His mother leaving him did NOT turn him into a serial killer, no more than Hitler's rejection from art school turned him into a genocidal maniac. It's terrifying to accept, but there's no reliable root for psychopathy.

Agreed. However his mothers mental illness and overly prescribed diet of medications while pregnant im sure DID contribute to his major chemical imbalance in his brain. And her total abandonment and lack of motherly anything im didnt help him. Just a thought

Didn't they say his mother left and took his brother but not him... She probably left with his brother because they knew that Jeffrey was messed up. And I think Jeffrey's father has everything to do with this, I think Jeffrey witnessed some things done by his father.. And that's all I'm going to say.

I think the meds his mom was on while she was pregnant should not be dismissed. Those drugs, if given to the wrong person, can change an adults brain for the worse. Now imagine a developing fetus being exposed to all that. Not saying it explains everything, but it could have been a necessary part of all this.

i was looking for a comment to reply this to, every child has certain ways they learn to comfort themselves with the uncomfortable so when you let your child collect animal viscera, his psychology is subject to trauma a child can’t simply comprehend, and for him to develop sexual attraction for organs and mutilation, his mother leaving was simply a catalyst to all of this, with no motherly connection freud would have had a field day with the reason this man chose to commit such vile atrocities.

@@SaraMKay Research has revealed that 25 percent of aggressive inmates had committed multiple acts of animal abuse as children. Forty-five percent of school shooters had histories of alleged animal cruelty, and 21 percent of serial murderers admitted to childhood animal abuse.
I made a point earlier that Biology Rules and this is probably more true with serial killers. And maybe head trauma too plays a role. "British child psychiatrist Stephen Scott, an expert in childhood and adolescent antisocial behavior, explains that “unlike regular antisocial behavior, serial killers seem to be born rather than made, with a Heritability of 80 percent of the characteristics being due to genes, whereas with ordinary antisocial and later criminal behavior, it is only 30 percent.”
