    i'd like to see a full series of this, the aracnids slowly getting leaps in technological advancement spearheaded by the one that got shot, to "find the gods again" or something weould be interesting.

    • @kiritotheabridgedgod4178
      @kiritotheabridgedgod4178 Рік тому +17

      Well, the technological increase won't happen fast enough for the guy who got shot to spearhead it, but they did say they needed to scan all the other planets in that system. Could do something with it like a "Garden System" where every planet in the system with solid ground has some form of life, (Carbon based in the goldilocks zone, Silcon based on the planets two hot for liquid water, Exotic Carbon{similar base structure, wildly different biochemistry} or other Exotic material based life on the outer planets.) therefore, putting a observation satellite and asteroid defense system over each world and establishing a scientific research station in the systems Oort Cloud(if it has one) for staging proper first contact, once each civilisation has achieved either space flight or radio communications.
      It would be funny if they all figured out radio communications at roughly the same time, and discovered each other via signal bleed.

    For a primitive being with no concept of things so simple as metal, he sure is an intuitive fellow. Understanding that he was no longer on his own world after a short time inside the ship and seeing his planet through a window, correctly guessing that the walls and floor of the ship were likely the same material as her gun and knife at a glance, and realizing by seeing the "small star" was put there to keep an eye on him and that "Human, god of thunder" wouldn't return in his lifetime but was using the new star to keep an eye on his people. Honestly that's pretty damn impressive given how little context and knowledge he had of the truth of his situation. ❤ fantastic story

    • @jgkitarel
      @jgkitarel 8 місяців тому +1

      Primitive does not mean stupid. He could intuit several things, even though he couldn't understand them, simply because he could take what he saw and draw a conclusion. The seeing of the star (satellite) was a nice bit of intuition on his part on what it meant. They would watch, but nothing else. It was all up to him and his people to go from here. And it was clear to him that the meeting and events after was pure coincidence and also his own foolishness. On the other hand, he got one hell of a story to tell his village, and later his children and grandchildren.

      You might want to go a little bit further back there. IIRC, the Aztec empire was around when Oxford University was first founded(or Oxford University is older than the Aztecs, can't remember which way round it was.) You want a decent time period for it, go for the babylonians, given that Aliens visit Egypt and become worshiped as gods is cliché as fuck, and is basically the plot of Stargate(IIRC, it's the reason why basically every "Alien" civilisation in stargate is either human or Jafar{not sure if I spelled that right} with the exception of Asgardians and the fucking mindsnakes that I can't remember how you spell their name.)

      very simple possible answer: He's taking a break as his voice was starting to act up and we may be watching backlog that he recorded in advance.

      Hopefully he does. Although I have to say that I think he should slow down on the releases to a pace that will keep him always a bit behind the author's release. IE: About one per week.
      Don't get me wrong; I ADORE his various series. But he tends to rip through a long series, catch up with the author and then have a long dry period of nothing. While this is fantastic for binging, it does cause a few problems:
      1. Because he is recording so fast, it results in frequent reading errors when recording, resulting in less than optimal results. Not bad, just less good than I believe he is capable of.
      2. It causes people to become "hooked" on a series, and then be disappointed when it suddenly runs out before it is actually done.
      A more measured and steady release schedule should allow him to "pace himself" and not only improve release quality, but allow his fans to not have to take long breaks in series, unless something happens with the author. ideally, he would always be a bit behind the author so that there would be a large "buffer" to cover for when the author takes a break. For a little while, anyway.
      Given that most HFY series authors tend to release weekly, having a different series on each day with a single "series release" per day would create a nice and easy to pace release schedule. If he then wanted to release short stories as separate videos in order to "pad" his content more, then he could do that too.
      Just my thoughts on it. Honestly not sure if that would even work with the algorithm right now, but as UA-cam seems to want to create a more "television-like" experience, having a "television-like" release schedule would seem to work with that.

They would inevitably end up on an island who's people had no contact with ' modern ' people. The things they witnessed, and partook in. ( like being given soldiers C rations, being shown how to open them with a can opener ) among other things. irrevicibly changed that tribes entire outlook on life. once the war was over, and the Soldiers left, the people began building wikker models of the airplanes the US pilots flew as altars, and began praying to them to bring the ' gods ' back.
