Every RV I have been looking at it, no matter what type of RV, they are so dark with weird patterns on the furniture. The Airstream feels refreshingly bright, contemporary, with great functionality. Thank you very much for the detail review of the Globetrotter. My wife and I are going back and forth between the Globetrotter and the International Signature 25RB. Each has their pros and cons based on what WE like. I'm not looking for opinions of which to get from folks out there. We'll make up our own minds but your videos really help us make informative decisions. Thank you.
On a side note: When watching your video with headphones on, the audio in the beginning is being sent only to the left channel. It is really challenging to listen to one side of a stereo track. You were just about to lose me when the problem was corrected to dual mono. Phew! Because I really wanted to see this video since they are the best Airstream explainer videos out there. Wish you were on the West Coast.

Good job on the presentation. My wife just started a new career with Airstream after almost 20 yrs in the Airline manufacturing sector. She wants to upgrade to an Airstream but lm more into a 5th wheel. But these Airstream units are very beautiful and look very well and solidly made.

Great stuff, tell Airstream more lighter wood materials and dynamic color schemes like the salsa leather and blue upholstery. Trailers looking like they are straight out of the mid-90s have nothing on interior design like this. Gorgeous.

Class A-1 video presentation Patrick, as always. One thing I just don't get about Airstream though. It seems they make certain models with certain options, thats it. Like lets say if you wanted the rear opening hatch door, you must buy a Tommy Bahama. They won't build another 27 (FC, SERENITY, etc) with that as an option. This Globetrotter model as nice as it is...why only 1 floor plan? Us folks that are married 30+ years really like the idea of twins. As a matter of fact, friends of mine who are older than me and love the twin bed layout, just came all the way from California to buy their 30' Classic from Colonial. I wished them Godspeed last week. Twin beds are a must for them. He gets up at 3am to go fishing etc. Will Airstream ever offer more in the way of customization from the factory..like on demand water heaters, wheels/tires, etc. Or do they just have too much of a production load?
Thank you for the message. Airstream reserves the hatch for special and limited edition models. Any type of customization slows down production therefore only the offered factory options are available. Currently all RV manufacturers are struggling to keep up with demand. Airstream may eventually expand the Globetrotter to other floor plans and sizes. You have to start somewhere and the most popular floor plan recently has been the 27FB.

Just an awesome video ! We're purchasing a new 27FB in 2018/2019 and was planning on Signature ...thinking the Globetrotter now ! I was wondering why the lounge was shorter by 3", and the table 5" ...and you outlined the changes that I assume account for this 8" (i.e. double wall for LED TV mount/storage, tank status) and the lounge area changes to accommodate the padded rear seating.
Jeff, thanks for watching. I would love to work with you when you are ready. The lounge length and table depth are slightly shorter. But the cushion depth on the dinette and lounge has been increased because of the deletion of the back bolsters.

Thank you for watching, yes you can still use a generator with a 30amp adapter and you can plug it into the main power connection. The one in the front of the trailer that is deleted when you get the 2nd AC option.

This is the best Airstream video I've seen so far. What appliances do the solar panels power?
Thank you. The solar charges the batteries which supply 12V to all the items in the trailer except for a microwave or roof top AC.
Looks as great as ever. Do you have a double(triple)-insulation model for our Siberian winter?
They are all built with the same thickness insulation.

Another beautiful trailer. Hey Patrick, if you get the solar option, if you use the battery cut-off switch, do the solar panels still keep your batteries charged when the RV isn't in use?
Also, Looks like those solar panels are a bit small, and larger ones would fit. Do you have customers who have upgraded those to increase boondocking capacity? If you don't get the solar panel upgrade, are the connections there to add it later?
The solar is still active with the battery disconnect is switched to store.

1. Is there an odometer-like device that tracks the mileage the trailers get towed?
2. Where do most people store their extra gear, e.g. Green Egg smoker, picnic table, chairs, etc., in the tow vehicle?

There are commercial trailer hub odometers available aftermarket but they are not used in the RV industry. The bulk items can either be stored in the tow vehicle or inside the trailer in the hall when in transport.

Great video as always. All the other Airstream videos pale in comparison to Patrick’s vids. I think I see a reality show in his future. What do you think Patrick. “Living Patrick”. Find out things like, does he own an Airstream himself ? Would he live in one full time ? What does he drive ? Does he like oranges ? Does he have a dog ? I think we would have a winner on our hands. UA-cam is full of them, and believe me most are crap. Keep up the good work. Question...how high is the ceiling, standing room inside I mean not outside ? And are they all the same height ?

I have a 14.4 year old White Miniature Schnauzer. I love oranges and I actually own a bright orang classic early Bronco.

I have been on this Airstream kick for a while, and imagine one in my future.....albeit distant future probably. This one looks like a good balance of everything. No way! I was guessing between 20 and 30. Very classy Globetrotter but Serenity Salsa is still my favorite.

On the video at 45:20 you talk about there being a built in water regulator. What PSI rating should the RV white hose be that it's hooked to the faucet then to the regulator?
The regulator is set at 55psi. Your white hose should have a psi rating of over 200.
When/if I am ever in the market for a camper I am coming to see Patrick.
