This all looks lovely but you have one major problem in that if you need to brake hard and fast both of you are going to go straight through the front windshield of your RV. Don't risk your lives by not wearing your seatbelts all the time they are there for a reason.
Really appreciate how you and your husband take the truckers in consideration when you all stop, from a truck driver I want to say thank you and stay safe
Thank you! We know how hard truck drivers work and how tough it can be driving such a big rig. Plus we’re out driving for pleasure and not for work so we always try to be considerate of that. Maybe we’ll see you on the road one day 😍
My husband and I always dreamed of doing what you are doing. We had our RV picked out, but before we made the purchase he was diagnosed with brain cancer. I spent the last two years caring for him. Enjoy life to the fullest and always thank God for everyday we are given, especially the time you as a couple can love on each other. Very nice video. Two comments, 1- ALWAYS use your seatbelts ! ( I see later in the video that you had them on.) 2- If your surge protector female connector is burned, most likely your male connector on the MH feed cord is burned also. You can get new connectors, you do not need to replace the entire unit. Thank you for sharing with us.

I like how you take rv seriously and do your safety checks well. Wish you good travels. Being a 34 years trucker tips would be check your lights, signals and tire pressure and wear. Also when driving keep your hand out of the inside of the steering wheel. I was professionally taught this, had should be on top or sides incase the steering wheel box breaks. The wheel will spin so fast that it will break your thumb or hand. Also look into leaning the Smith system. Cheers.
This was really fun. All the packing and unpacking is mitigated by the sheer joy of travel. I love watching your videos. Thanks for showing all sides of this lifestyle; it makes the videos all that much better...
Great video. Just came across it by accident. Quick bit of advice. Before retracting the slideouts, do a walkaround outside to ensure there's no obstructions in the vicinity of the slideouts. Just as you vacuum up any debris inside where the slideouts move, checking outside for obstructions is really important. If you already did that but didn't show it in the video, then kudos to you guys,
Just FYI, we live in a small town, “ Leo “, in Indiana. You guys are welcome to park or fill up or whatever you guys need if you come this way. Me and my wife would love to help anywhere we can!

I'm so sorry you're going through this very difficult time. You'll never regret the time you came back to spent together, albeit at times sad and the feeling of being powerless to change the outcome. As someone who has been there for both parents, I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend as much time as I could with each other beforehand. Thank you! Yes, the surge protector was definitely a good investment. Stinks that we have to replace it, but much cheaper than if we didn't have it! Class A's certainly have their pros and cons. We really enjoy being able to access everything while traveling.
Thank you so much for sharing these details about setting up the rig to get the road and things like that. I will be soon in this kind of life so that inspire us a lot. on the surge connector - loose or dirty connection will cause arcing or high resistance and heat ... (melting) ... you don't need a new surge supressor - just cut end off and install a new end. much cheaper than a whole new protector.
Thansk for your insights into the travel life. Your routine to get ready to move is SO MUCH more demanding than me getting my 40 foot RV WITHOUT slides ready on my boondocking routine. No thought to vacuum just because I'm moving around, one walk around to close all windows, check for loose items and off I go, rarely 3 minutes!
Thank you. I have often wished - during the travel routine - that we didnt have slides, but the minor additional effort and time is worth it to us for the additional space when parked. We live in the RV full time, so the space is well worth it. 😀
On the surge protector the melted socket is usually caused by resistance, your plug did not connect to the socket tight and heat resistance built up. Clean the plug connectors and check if you have a good connection with your new surge protector. You may want to check if all of the AC wire connections are tight on the power panels, etc.

Really good to see how thorough you are with making sure everything is secure. 20:44 what about the most important things in the rig??? Too much traveling going on without your seatbelts.
Secession from Virginia was the hope of some western Virginians as early as 1829. Many western Virginians felt underrepresented in the legislature, overtaxed, and shortchanged in state spending. In many counties, rugged terrain made plantation agriculture impractical.
Point of fact, Kanawha was the first name of the state that was shopped around. The greater part of the new state was to the west, or the western part of the current state of Virginia. Also, Virginia was in the beginning process of succeeding to the CSA under Davis. The western part of Virginia did not wish to leave the union. This has been a really condensed, possibly completely or mostly factual account. So enjoy.
Nice video. The most probable cause of the melted connection on the surge suppressor is simply a bad connection. When a connection gets loose, dirty, or corroded, the resistance in that connection goes up. The higher the resistance, the greater the voltage drop across it and the greater the heat it produces. If it gets bad enough to arc, the heat can be tremendous (like an arc welder) and breakers will not necessarily trip. Routinely check the connectors on your devices (shore cord, extension cords, surge suppressors, and the connection to the camp's pedestal) to make sure they are clean and tight. You will probably need to clean the male sides occasionally with fine (400 grit) sandpaper or a scotchbrite pad to keep the grungies at bay.
I saw that too . I was in a bad car accident with head injuries and a busted face in 5 spots around my eye and cheek bone and was in the trauma center. All because I didn’t wear a seat belt . The drs said I was 1/8 of an inch from dying from where my head injury was . Please buckle up ❤

Love your videos and following along. And your RV is my absolute favorite. But seriously, how hard is it to drive and to operate? I can’t imagine having to learn everything. I love the thought of an RV and traveling but it’s all so intimidating. But since it will never happen, I’ll just continue to live vicariously through your videos. 😊 Safe travels!
Firstly, thank you so much for watching and following along. Secondly, go for it. It’s not hard to drive and operate. Like anything in life it has a learning curve, but it’s totally doable!
I enjoyed your video. Your surge protector is the same one we have and we had it for 3.5 years and it did the same thing. 😅 We replaced it with a wired model so it's hidden away from the exterior and we don't have to worry about theft. This was June of 2024. We love it. We just plug in where we go and it goes through its cycle and then lets the power in, 30-60 seconds at most. Full-time tyrone n maria
As cool as it all looks it really takes more prep to get going and to set up than I think most people realize. You clearly don't just start it and drive off. Towing a car makes it even more complicated.
You Guys are amazing, so many useful tips. My friends from MN are going to become RV Nomads, and I'll be joining them when I go to visit them from Toronto. Looking forward to it.

Most of our travel days in our Class A were pretty close to 300 miles; it's about all I can do without getting too road weary. Not safe to push it for speed or total time in a machine that big, plus you need energy to hook in at the of the day. All good; love your channel, and I love Class A's.
Agreed! We use to do much longer travel days, now we go slower and try to enjoy them more. They can be stressful and exhausting so agree it's important not to push too much.

Traveling w kids: get prep everything while the kids keep sleeping. There is ONE slide I need to leave open until they get up and out of the rig. I wake up 3 hours before we are to leave, I wake my hubs 2 hours before we are about to leave, we have tried just waking the kids when it’s time to go but we have found it’s best to wake them an hour before.

Good advice and reminder! Thanks :)
I'm so jealous!! lol Hope you guys have nothing but safe, loving travels!
I know, right, bro? Love how Finch brings his game spirit to 4RBT. Makes betting there even more thrilling!
Thanks for the comment, but this sounds like spam. We’ll stick to RV adventures over cricket pitches for now! 🚐✨
Great video. I've often thought about getting an RV, and after watching the video, I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy i've resisted the temptation. Way too much work, give me a nice motel room any time.
RV life is not for everyone. We love it, but it’s not as simple as checking out of a hotel room. 😀
Loved your video. Your channel never disappoints. It's soothing to watch your content. I also dream once to come to America and explore it by road.
Thank you so much!
What a sweet dog. ❤ He's sure a pretty boy! Y'all have fun!
Thank you! He’s the best ❤️❤️❤️
Makes you believe in love , amazing couple 😻
I made it. I held my breath. Loved that challenge. I’m a new subscriber.
Awesome! Thank you!❤️
Thanks for sharing your travel day and tips. Hillary, I'm so impressed with your attention to detail and keeping everything so nice and clean. Even the towel on the steps during your final pull out watch. I'm a lot like that but my wife is not so it can make for some frustration...
Hillary is awesome. She takes care of the details I never see. 😀❤️
I hope you guys are ok from the storms! 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks! We are well north of the storms. Appreciate you asking. 😀
I enjoyed your video. Your surge protector is the same one we have and we had it for 3.5 years and it did the same thing. 😅
We replaced it with a wired model so it's hidden away from the exterior and we don't have to worry about theft. This was June of 2024. We love it. We just plug in where we go and it goes through its cycle and then lets the power in, 30-60 seconds at most.

Nice. Sounds like a great option for us to look into. Thanks for sharing.
As cool as it all looks it really takes more prep to get going and to set up than I think most people realize. You clearly don't just start it and drive off. Towing a car makes it even more complicated.
Very very true. 😀
You Guys are amazing, so many useful tips. My friends from MN are going to become
RV Nomads, and I'll be joining them when I go to visit them
from Toronto. Looking forward to it.
Enjoy the experience!! And thank you! ❤️
What a BEAUTIFULCOUPLE AND TRAVEL COMPANIONS!!! Keep the videos coming!!!!
Thank you! Will do!❤️
Fascinating video! Just a point of concern, I noticed that neither one of you was wearing your seat belt after leaving the rest area and heading toward the truck stop for gas. Tsk tsk. But glad you had them on after that. 😆
I love Hillary's voice - very soothing. You guys are great and seem to get a long great.
Thank you so much! Does your username imply you have a BMW E30?? Love those cars.
@@fuelyourwander I wish. I am into BMW motorcycles. We have 7 of them. We travel all over like you but on the BMWs. We took a trip to Alaska on 2 BMWs and had a blast. Not much luxury like you all.
Wow. Really enjoyed this. We’re seriously considering purchasing a Class A, and your video was really informative as to what to look forward to. Thanks, and safe travels.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching!
Brilliant video .. a lovely couple ❤️👍🏽
after you clear the black, flush the line with grey water. Helpful tip.
Just food for thought! Tension rods in refrigerator will hold things in place 😊! Museum putty hold all decor in place. Hobby lobby, home Depot, etc. I have used this for several years.amy brands. Squishy shelf liner under our coffee pot holds that in place. We have motorhome too
Not as nice as yours though! Yours is Stellar! Congrats & Enjoy!😊❤👍👏😊‼️
Great ideas, thank you 👏
This was fun to see! Love these long videos. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much! More coming 🤩
Every time i see the new 4ra promo, i feel like i need to place another bet! it’s just so enticing, can’t resist trying my luck again and again.

All elrric rv. Ckss a 100 mioe rabge
Wow! You guys are very impressive!!! Doing things accordingly ang properly!!!✨✨✨✨✨👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤍🤍🤍🌸🌸🌸🌸🍓🍓🍓🍓💚💚💚💚 love you guys!!!😘😘😘😘💙💙💙🤎🤎🤎🌸🌸🌸
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Just found yalls channel and y’all stayed at the KOA right down the road from my house lol that is awesome
Cool! Thanks for watching! 😀
This is nice. The lady needs to be a DJ. She sure can talk. 😊
I thought that the surroundings outside of the windows looked familiar and then you stopped at the Lowe's and I recognized where you were. I lived in the area for 30 years. Hope you enjoyed your stay in the Alamance County area!
We love the entire state! Thanks for watching. 😀
Cool to see a video made in my home state. I'm from Greensboro so I know exactly where you guys were. I'm a camper and been to that same park.
Very cool! It’s a nice campground. 😀
This is wonderful!!
Our favorite travel day movie to watch when we get parked “the long long trailer”
So many great road trip lines in there
We’ve watched that several times, great movie!

TURN RIGHT HERE LEFT!
I am watching you from Sweden. Love your video and Rv. I former truckdriver and your Rv looks so wonderful to drive
Thank you for watching! Much of my family is originally from Sweden - many generations ago. 😀
The kitchen/dining table zone looks very cosy with the slides in
Intresting to hear an american speak about F1 :) Let's see how Lewis will do next year at Ferrari
I really like this type of video
I hope he does well with Ferrari. Love to see him win one more championship! Thanks for watching.
You’re amazing for being able to handle that!!!
Great video!, I actually enjoy travel days and think of them as part of the adventure/fun. Please post more of these….i will add that I use gloves for fueling also…as well as working with the sewer
Thanks for watching and the feedback! We’re working on more 😍
Fantastic video! Pure entertainment and felt I was right there! Love the chemistry!

Thank you for watching and the feedback!
Love your RV! Was wondering while you were cooking there I was curious to know if you have an exhaust fan?
Yes we do😀
You guys keep a clean and tidy house. I prefer it that way myself. Chris is right, nothing but real butter and never eat the fake stuff.
Butter is the key to good food and a healthy relationship 😂
Totally, man. Anyone else think Finch's game strategies make 4ra bets smarter? Feels like insider info!
First time checking in .. very cool / relaxing/ comfortable listening. Thanks
Thanks for watching 🙏❤️
4RBT is really committed to their cricket events. these new features are awesome.
