Paul was a cigarette smoker. When he was in his Pee Wee character, he had bodyguards around him whenever he took a smoke break to make sure no kids ever saw him smoking.
Pity he didn’t do that while masturbating in a cinema huh🤷♂️
He should have brought those bodyguards to the movies. 😂
Wouldn't it been easier to just stopped smoking?
Walt Disney was the same he made sure he didn't smoke in front of kids
@@fredrikalarsson3962Probably not, it's highly addictive ya know. Just like they taught you in school, if you went there.
It wasn't just a children's show , he was watched by fans of all ages . I'm in my 70's and still watch reruns of Peewee's Playhouse . It never gets old ❤❤❤
Me 2, I was in my twenties when the show was on the air. 😊
I really enjoyed Peewee Herman. I hope his life was good. 🤗
My dad unabashedly watched it with my older sister & me during its original run, and he was my age now (late 30s to early 40s) at that time.
@brenthaskins1712 ur Dad was Awesome for that....😮
same for me Im 65 its so relaxing.
Those episodes were worth every penny!🤍
I came here to say that.
@@MSG685 so did i! ))
worth every episode of Penny too. I loved the Penny Sketches
I’d like to see the episode when he got caught in the theater
That was the top rated kids show during its time. Won like 22 Emmys. Wow.
Wow, I knew it was popular, but I had no idea it one that many Emmy Awards. Deserved every single one
@@julius_the_python, one is a number....🤦♂️
Im impressed with the warm comments for him. He was like no other.
I was 26 years old when I cuddled up with my blanket on Saturday mornings to watch *Pee Wee's Playhouse.* He was a fun, refreshing, and funny change to the work week grind. Please RIP Paul Rubens.
😂
@@che6125did you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror or something?
@@Steve.._. Steve that's the last thing I'll have any glimpse of
OMG I was about 26 as we’ll & remember cuddling up with somebody when watching Pee Wee as well
I think he was 26 when he was in the theater and got caught
I was managing a 'box store' in Texas back in the late 80's and on Saturday Morning it was Pee Wee Herman's Playhouse on all the big screen TV's . . . imagine 50+ inches of Pee Wee on over a dozen TV's at the same time.
HEAVEN ❤❤❤
This is amazing 😂
Were those CRT or rear projection screens?
And judging by the quality of that show it was worth every penny. I just watched it last night with my 2-yr old grandson. And when it was on Saturday mornings in 1987 it was my first baby’s favorite show!
Pee-Wee Herman shows and episodes was well worth watching back in the 90s growing up sadly he gone R.I.P. Paul Reuben❤😢💔
Rest in peace PH. 😁 thanks for all the great entertainment ❤ Paul Reubens.
One of the most creative shows for kids AND adults. Even as an adult, there were things in it that went way over my head that I only caught on recordings years later
I loved that show when I was a kid such a sad loss we will love you forever and thank you for the amazing show that help build my child hood
He made millions laugh. Thanks. RIPee Wee.
He’s given countless interviews out of character
He's dead now..what does ir matter
The description says this is from 1988.
@@alysongutierrez6479Weird.
@@alysongutierrez6479You can still talk about him, dummy.

Couldn't wait for the show to come on Saturday mornings
Loved him!! The original elf on the shelf!!! 🚲 🎪
Rest In peace❤❤😔
He's not going to be here to watch his performance or perform comedy or be Peewee
@@robtru84Thanks Capt. Obvious.
Fry in hell🔥🔥🔥
Love Pee-wee's Playhouse as a kid rip Paul Reubens
I looked up peewees playhouse the other day just to remind myself what I was watching when I was a kid. I didn’t realize Laurence Fishburne played the cowboy. It was hilarious.
@hunterbidenparmesanimports5633 yes he was the cowboy with the curl 😆
@@krlm2280 hey it’s Rita the mail lady yaayyyy. You said todays magic word heh heh hehehe heh yayy. Lol
I use to love this show when I was a kid was a big fan of the movie too
geez i didn't know he was so cute w/o the Pee Wee getup. Still Pee Wee was such an 80's legend ..."scream your head off--we're miles from where anyone can hear you.."😂 Props for making us lol all these years 💗
Simply devastated 😢 💔
Me too. :(
As someone who has never watched the show and only figured out who peewee Herman was yesterday he reminds me of a mix between jim Carey in the mask and robin Williams
@@metalboy1986He was better than those two. Just found out about him?! 😂😂
Paul kinda looks like Jerry Seinfeld in that red shirt lol😂
They're both Jewish ✡ anyways. 😁
Thank you Pee Wee.....you made us laugh and glow....RIP
Loved this guy!❤
Looked forward to it every Saturday.
Paul Reubens has been on a number of late night television. David Letterman had him on several times.
I went to a cinema to watch "Peewee Big Adventure" with a good friend. We were a little high and expecting complete nonsense. When the truckstop lady (Marge?)bugged out, the entire audience drew a deep breath, then howled with laughter.
Remembering it with glee, I later rented it for my parents. They politely watched it for ten minutes, then, sighing sadly, they both stood up and walked out of the room. I was convulsing as they slunk out.
Pee Wee's father was a founding member of the Israeli air force
handsome guy out of costume
Are you kidding? Pee Wee is Handsome!
@@guntherultraboltnovacrunch5248 I love that story!
He had aged well. Even months before his death Paul didn't look sick.
I watched this every Saturday morning… I miss those days
For sure RIP
He was the best!❤
peewee was what all of us as children acted like back in the day lol
I know you are but what am i?!
@@Static-ash so funny i forgot to laugh
Nah, he was a creep. Probably a pedo too, as I kid I was very skeptical about this creep.
Huh huh.... yes it was.
Yes paul was an artist every episode was important to him no matter what it cost.
When Letterman was getting started he acted like Pee Wee wasn't good enough to be on his show. So Pee Wee held his nose and said "Well l told my neighbors l was going to be on your show. And they said 'PU. Is he still on the air?' ". It was hillarious!
The Gong Show?? A blast from the past on summer vacay. 📺 RIP
r.i.p. we’ll miss you❤️
R.i.P -Derek Foreal Blow my favorite movie
"Who's cutting your hair?"
Pee Wees' big adventure is still one of my favorite movies.
I was in college at the time in a demanding major so I didn't watch much TV, but it seemed like everybody with a TV in their room couldn't wait for the next one.
I really enjoyed the show.
We loved Paul Rubins/Pee Wee ❤and we miss his talent !!
The goat, rest n power paul
Spent many Saturday mornings ripping bongtokes watching playhouse. RIP Pee Wee. You're a fish in heaven. Fa LA La
The thumbnail picture of Paul Reuben in this short video, I want to say that Paul looks pretty darn hott!
RIP. One of forst shows I remember. Thank you Pee wee.
I tried to watch every episode. ♥️
R.I.P Pee Wee
Loved that show😊😊😊😊
GOD rest his soul😢RIP
Peewee was my favorite show when I was 7. Meka leka hi meka leka hiny ho.
How can U not love the show .
Who is Paul Reubens? A fucking legend, that's who.
Was an actor actually. RIP.
He was a legend. 💫✨🌟
Sad that he’s gone…..
I remember seeing him, for the first time, in Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie back in the early 80’s🤣 Always loved him.
He understood that commitment to the character was important.
He was one that was a god given talent true artist
In all my life, out of the many thousands of people I've met over the years, I have yet to meet someone who didn't either love or at the very least, respect, the character, Pee Wee Herman.
I love that even Conan O'Brien admits to him and his friends watching Pee Wees Playhouse on Saturday mornings and they were in their 20s at the time 😂
I loved his show.
Rip i loved that show
My late mother was a huge fan of his show. She would come home from her overnight shift at a nearby animal hospital, and would sit in her favorite chair with a cup of coffee and her shark slippers on, and just have a great time.
He sounds like a stand up guy that just wanted to give kids something special. Went to great lengths to do so. Is remembered fondly.
Watching pee wees big adventure at the drive in we never laughed harder that was a perfect drive in movie! RIP peewee
He was a great entertainer. His career took a major hit when he was caught in that theater, (which wasn't really a crime, just very embarrassing) but when he stared along side Johnny Depp in 2000, in the movie Blow, he showed that he's a really good actor. R.I.P Paul🙏
He certainly did TV interviews.
This is a clip from an old TV show from 35 years ago. Back then he didn't do interviews.
That is where I first saw him... He definitely stole a couple scenes in that movie.
Remember the movie theater incident. You guys weren't so friendly then
I adored Pee Wee with all my heart.
He also had a small part in "Cheech and Chongs next movie " very funny.
Those that grew up during this era got to see some early actors great actors by the way on peewees playhouse. I was a big fan of the show simply because it was crazy.
That guy who asked, “Where’s Pee Wee?” Is Rob Zombie.
Well worth the Money… He is a legend!!!
Rest in peace Paul or peewee we should miss you
The picture of Paul in the red shirt oddly reminded me of young Jerry Seinfeld.
He has been interviewed many times as Paul Reubens.
He played a waiter in the movie “The Blues Brothers” that’s where I saw him first😊
I loved pee wee when i was a kid. I still love the pee wee movies
And totally worth it! RIP
He was the guy who voices Ivor from Minecraft story
p.s. RIP Paul Reubens thank you for making our childhood
I've never seen his show, but I recognized him in Batman Returns. Not a very big role, but you could definitely tell it was him.
He was the waiter serving shrimp cocktails and champagne in the wrong glasses to the Blues Brothers.
David Letterman gave him the interview I don't know where you get your information from
With my luck the ladder falls while I’m stuck to it 😂
I remember him snorting coke with cheech and chong the best
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm very sorry. I'm sorrrrrry.
I'M NOT SORRY HAHAHA!
Paul was great in the movie mystery men
LEGEND
La la la la la lala la la ha ha. Lol miss him playing pee wee herman
The first time I remember seeing him was on a Chi and Chong movie you want a hamburger! I’ m sorry I’m sorry . No I’m not sorry!!! Hahaha 🤣
In the movie Buffy the vampire slayer too.
R.I.P. 🙏
I still find it hilarious that Laurence Fishburne played Cowboy Curtis
Cowboy Curtis was my favorite 🤠
Lawrence Fishburne!❤
Capt. Carl was the best! (Phil Hartman).
Not a ‘ children’s show’. It was genius. ❤
REST IN PEACE PAUL❤
great guy
He totally gave tv interviews. Then and in modern times
I loved him
