I really appreciate how well researched and explained this video is, as someone who doesn't know much about sound design your deconstruction of the sounds made it really understandable and gave me a stronger appreciation for how these sounds are made and their effect in game. Thank you.

I love these videos. They feel amateur, because the simple style, how he makes complex things to easy understand and how down to earth he is, but at the same professional, because the topics are complex and interesting and despite the simple style, is incredibly high quality and charming. Keep up the good work, Scruffy! (Edit) Amateur is probably the wrong word. What I'm trying to say is it feels insanely high quality but at the same time doesn't feel robotic and processed.
I'm not entirely sure if I am picking up on what was your exact thought process behind the Pikmin Trivia series, but I appreciate how in the sound design installments you keep the audio very clear and not diluted so the audience can focus on the sounds you talk about, while you have fun with the visuals to emphasize your point, whereas in the model trivia you keep the screen clear so that the audience can easily see the models you talk about, while the audio is very fun and lively to get the audience excited to learn. I think this is a very cool piece of design and just goes to show how much effort, care, and love went into these videos. Thanks, Scruffy, and have a nice day!
2:44 is now one of my favorite easter eggs in gaming. I didn't know this until today. I really wish we could hear more of it. Or a full version of the song, that'd be awesome ^^
Scruffy, you have quickly become my favorite youtube channel due to the high amount of polish and dedication you put into your work. Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to all the other content you talked about in your update video.
You know that whole convolution reverb thing sounds interesting and it's funny that you mention the shower room because well there is possibly a cave permameter for that exact thing
Im glad Pikmin is still getting intresting trivia videos, it has to be one of my favorite game franchises of all time and the wait for the 4th one has taken long enough, Nice video!
The pikmin attack noise is one of the most satisfying noises ever. Just behind the plants vs zombies garden warfare vanquish noise and the splatoon splat noise.
How do your videos have such high quality? The way you capture not only the small details of certain game designs but also the way you explain complex concepts in a very understandable manner makes you stand out so much! There are many content-creators that I like, however your videos are on another level. It's something, that you can't even explain properly. I really want to support you in any way I can!
Scruffy, you've done it again. Videos like this really make me realize how much of a work of art Pikmin is. I appreciate the indepth work you put into these videos! Keep it up!
This is my first video of yours, recommended purely by chance, and the way you go into the details while explaining everything clearly is admirable for me. This video legitimately grounded me from a bad mental episode, and I know that’s quite the bomb to drop but your work is just that amazing. Thanks, Scruffy! You earned a new sub~
Amazing. Not enough love is given to sound design. Art and music take the obvious places in people’s minds, but I’ve always been most impressed by thoughtful sound design and engineering.
Bro I adore these videos, they're so charming and well made. It feels like a professional is info dumping and I just love listening to people talk about subjects they're passionate about
So many of these sound effects were so cool, especially the plasm wraith ones, it's a shame they're so faint and get hidden by the music most of the time.
why didn't we ever get videos like this in school? seriously, your simple drawings and video style kept me interested in something I barely think about.
Little could match the excitement I felt seeing this in my inbox. A very well produced video as always! Still incredibly interesting to hear so much about little design techniques and tidbits across Pikmin. Cheers! YOU'RE what We love.
the wierd dog noises make a lot more sense after Oatchi the dog was revealed for Pikmin 4, maybe they were intending to add an animal partner during Pikmin 3?

Woah the way @Scruffy explains the subtle detail in the games music library is so fascinating. He obviously knows what he’s talking about and u can see he’s very passionate about this. But even with all that he explains and executes his thoughts in the best way possible. I love Pikmin no doubt about it, but I never appreciated the music to this extent.
