    Hey Spring! This is my first time watching or even looking at how tatting is done. This looks sooo do-able! You're explaining it so clearly. I had it in my mind that it would be more technical.The double knot reminds me of how to cast on with knitting for some reason. So really, I have maybe picked up a new hobby/skill to add to my arsenal of fiber arts. Thank you for making this tutorial, I am excited about it and I am really wanting to go get tatting supplies now! I will see you around and have a great week!

      I bought a tatting needle yesterday at Hobby Lobby, I am looking foreward to getting started. Perhaps after Xmas, I have to make a boat load of crochet items this week. Overall I am excited to learn this craft. I hope you have a great holiday and love on your family.

    How do you determine how much tail you need?

    • @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast
      @SpringTheFiberEnthusiast  Рік тому

      Practice is was how I figured out an approximate tail length for the size item and thread I’m using.
