Hi, I love this pattern but I'm not understanding it. If you purl 2 together doesn't that make less stitches on your needle than what you started with? It's like a decrease.

I went to Joann's to look for some doll making supplies and a couple of yarns. I specifically wanted some large long pins with large heads which Joann's did not have. I've looked on Amazon and the closet I found was voodoo pins to what I wanted 😂😂😂 And they had skulls on the top, not really my thing and I'm thinking how much cuter they would be with your little penguins on top instead ❤😊❤

Well Spring, I certainly did not guess right when you asked the question the other day. This brings me back to the '80's when I used leg warmers and to the '90's when I was making them for my daughter, the ballerina at the time. Of course, I knitted them back then, but these are very nice. You did throw me for a loop when you changed yarn mid tutorial. It was early in the morning, and I thought I was losing it. lol. Thanks for showing me how to crochet one. Hugs.
