Ive been using these for almost a month, and in the process ive bent me wrists around 10 times, definitely DO get these if youre training for a broken wrist
This video brings me back to the time I sparred a guy who wore everlast pro style against me and this guy was like 250 lb. I legit hopped out the ring and put on my grant 8 oz pro fight gloves, then proceeded to get back in the ring and beat the breaks off of this guy. He was like “why did you change your gloves”? And I went because your wearing oven mitts against me. We weighed his gloves and they were 7 oz and he’s 250. I got so pissed and never went back to that gym but he still caught these hands😆. If your a boxer and your reading this do your sparring partners a favor and get some decent gloves. No everlast pro style or Lonsdale. And like he said in the vid if someone is sparring you with those gloves either tell the coaches to switch his gloves or go my way and throw on some pro fight gloves and go to town😂
I just won’t even participate with these kinda people anymore. What kinda work are you getting it against a guy so ignorant or so disrespectful that he’s willing to try and hurt his partners anyways? Just say “nope not doin it coach… I’ll be over here at the bag until someone serious wants to get some work” 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
@@KirbyJ89 I know man it’s a problem for real. Sometimes they make the excuse that the have no other gloves and when the coaches offer there gloves they go “oh that’s not sanitary especially with Covid” and I’m like what the fuck does Covid have to do with this like if you don’t want to get sick don’t come to the gym. My one coach has a completely unused pair of winning gloves and the guy tried to argue that they hurt his hands. That’s how you know mans was trying to hurt someone.
@@ctony8089 that dude gotta get in the ring and compete. Like I totally get it…small hard gloves feel faster, more powerful, and more accurate… but training isn’t where you wanna feel fast powerful and on point. Competition is where ya wanna feel your best. Stay away from that guy until the next time ya want a gym war and then go after his ass 😂👍

Large sporting retailers and manufacturers should be held accountable for allowing this gear to enter the market, it's just utter neglect of safety and care.
When I first started I almost bought these when I saw them in sports direct glad I decided against them I love my gloves I got instead 😂
What gloves did u end up getting?
I bought some Lonsdale gloves and broke a part of my hand in them. The padding fully pushed in and crunch. Never bought a pair again.

You can pay double and get the synthetic Powerlocks that will last way longer and are actually good for people in the Amateurs. I would never get these sort of gloves.

I got these gloves and after my second box train my hand is hurted like hell now i know why
These are aimed at people with no boxing experience who are doing box fit or boxercise classes at there local gym and need there own gloves people in my class have them but at least you get a bag some expensive gloves don't come with a bag
I enjoy the great gear reviews as well as the rubbish gear and everything in-between so I can either put it on my wish list or mark and avoid list

What's your thoughts on the Lonsdale vintage leather gloves they cost £132.00 but seen a lot cheaper leather gloves like twins and green hill
Worse than my custom Ebay glove ? lol They look as bad as my cotton filled kid's gloves
They would actually look pretty cool as novelty oven gloves, but I guess the synthetic material would melt.
Please no one use these to cook in 👀🤣

Which training gloves don’t think are better winning or grant
I rate winning higher than Grant fir training gloves
I got these when I was 12 for 16 or 19 euros, fast forward to 19 I tried boxing and these gloves are not just a waste of money , they're dangerous and really really shit and lonsdale should pay me 200 euros just to take a photo in these. Quality leather gloves might be a little too much money, but being most part leather and doubled stiched are midfle grounds what to actually take. Not to mention 16oz is like 3.9oz really with these.
These or some food I found on the sidewalk?
My step dad always worn Lonsdale when I was growing up, it was when sports world had first really started devaluing the brand and he would not budge on the fact “Muhammad Ali wears Lonsdale”… it’s a shame to see such an institute and important brand in our sport has become a literal joke!
Top end gloves are still decent Tbf but low end like these awful

Whats better welted seams or stitches??
Well welted stitches are done to add strength and durability
But for me welted stitches doesn’t need to be on the top gloves

I wouldn’t I’d recommend spending at least 50 dollars on a pair of gloves my venum challengers have lasted me 4 years training 5x a week sparring bag work pad work everything

i got them long time ago and i can say that they leasted a long ling time and i still use them in my opinion they are great
