You missed out on important questions like; 1What's the range per full charge and can it last the entire day of operation on one charge?
2 What's the payment plan in case one wants to buy in installments?
3 Are they planning on introducing bigger buses like the Swedish company Roam?
This was done before ROAM introduced their mass transit bus. About the charge and duration, watch the segment where he explains how the charger works. All that info is highlighted.
Good job.
The future is here!
An energy enterprice introduction rival to kplc will act as a catalyst that makes sure kplc acts accordingly in handling their operation and maintenance problems. no doubt
💯💯
Good job on this informative interview, appreciated the relevant straight forward questions and the clear answers...looking forward to more👍
Thank you for the feedback Peter.
Nice I would prefer these over the small matatus,
💯💯

How good is our electrical infrastructure though ???
Theres only one busigo in kenya myself ive never seen it i only heard of it
There are actually two. But BasiGo has also partnered with KCB and Family bank for asset financing, i.e if you do have a PSV business, the banks will help you finance and acquire an electric bus. Another company that just launched a mass transit electric bus is Roam Electric. They have partnered with Kenya Mpya and KPLC to bring this to life. So trust that in the next year, you are going to see very many electric PSVs on Kenyan roads.
Informative but not enough.. Some critical qns not addressed. Camera man also seems to be an intern..
What question died you need answered?

@@TheKenyanEntrepreneur Nilielewa kilakitu.
@@freedomm If you watched the full video, you'd know that he said that he wishes for PSV operators to watch the interview. When creating content, you think about the target audience. Also, this conversation is becoming stale.

are their fares cheaper compared to the diesel buses?
Thats the thing. The PSV owner gets to control the fare. But, companies that buy and invest in such have a better understanding of the customer and I would Imagine that they would stabilize the fare.
@@TheKenyanEntrepreneur At the moment what is the price compared to the diesel ones or they haven't started operations?
@@johnmwakilili are you asking about the fare or the costs of the buses?
