Hey drae. Figured I'd drop a bunch of tips that are and aren't in the comments since the wiki page for this game is barren 1. You can requench blades by reheating them 2. Gold is always found in the lowest part of the mining area, and breaking the fragments sometimes reveals more hidden ore 3. Any cloth you buy can be used on any and every weapon from that point on. You gain more money depending on how long the handle is and the type of cloth 4. The day will never reset and there is no fatigue in the game. You can craft and hammer as long as you want until you go to bed. 5. Sleeping does not progress the story, helping special customers does. This includes paying rent. As long as you don't help random customers, rent will not come until you're ready, and the special customers will not leave. 6. You earn the skill points(reputation) from selling weapons, so grinding is a very real option for money and skill points. 7. If you have a bunch of money later on, 3 max skill slaves(2 on goldmine and 1 on blacksmithing) will make you absurd amounts of money 8. You can point the crosshair at the spot you want to pour it. You don't have to free pour it and hope you hit lmao 9. Certain story choices will matter and most npcs will return after you help them. Complete these to get the most content out of the game! 10. Don't be afraid to waste ores if you want to use another one. With how much you can get just from mining or crafting hammers, it's practically redundant saving ore in your smelter
This is why i ve been making cheap, quick, Iron 2 handed swords the cost 10 gold to make and sell for 1043 gold i spend the whole night maxing my shelves with them. you can hit 10k in a day this way. also i just hit the first month and it was just 20k rent. the generic blades i make are all twohanded swords since the only requirement is the blade is 81cm Ebony Tree Handel (covered in the highest cost increase leather) 12cm Pommel 6 (smol af handle) Guard 24 (smol af guard) Blade 10/2 w/ blade 0 for filler (you can just have 0) Point 4 for aesthetics (point 1 or 7 are better for Lower Material need) Hollow sharpening.
First of all. when mining the rock fragments also can have ores inside of them, if you find gold in a node, the fragments from the node can have more inside. the second thing is that 550°c is the best temprature for quenching. i hope this helps❤
i dont play the game myself, but i know that IRL that would make the blade weaker and potentially crack it, you need to anneal/normalize it at a lower temp for a couple hours first to get all of the stress out of the metal, and then you can re-quench it
@@Spivster i would agree but i personally heat it up to about 550- 570 then hover over the barrel until it hit 530 then plunge it fully in and perfect quench every time
@@Spivster Very true, i always take it out myself but it results in 98-99 results when i use 600. I didnt find the exact temp, but found it risky to do any lower (if you walk against something while walking to the barrel). So i preferred a little higher.
@@flamewolfspirit-u8p Yeah that's basically what I do. I pull it out of the fire around 550, and then plunge at exactly 525. 99% every single time, only time I miss it is when I adhd and plunge too late
You can reheat weapons to quench them again without being penalized. When you're designing weapons, the cut rate and pierce rate bonus arent the final result, they're just a modifier. If you look at the menu in the top right, it will show you the actual cut rate, pierce rate, weight, speed, average value, and a bunch of other useful information :)
Didn't Drae already make this first ladies weapon and it is hanging on his bed weapon stand? Also the ending is hilarious. Drae is going to really regret not giving that guys money back. I sense a frig off coming next episode.
For hammering the blades: Do all section to only about 80-90% in the first pass. do the last few % when it's cooled down and each hit does only small progress. Then it's easy to get 98-99% everywhere.
Drae, I believe to make the rich boy's sword, you will need to unlock western hilts and pommels. I may be incorrect, but I thought I should share my ideas.
I discovered a way to break the game! 🤣 When you first start, if you quickly buy gold ore and smelt all 5 pieces, then rush back to buy more before the lady blocks you and demands payment, you can craft 4 masterwork gold heavy swords. Each one sells for 15k, and all you have to do is wait for them to sell. I got to day 3 with 267k gold 😂😂
I think the money which appeared from nowhere might have been the gladiator guy you made a weapon for, he returned to ask whether you'd like to place a bet on the fight, i think you placed a bet of 2k coins
Soooo, about the cancel hammer. Before I come to that the quality works in a weird way. Going red means the work is actually complete. Soooo what you wanna aim is for 99% red. Most of the time the game registers it as 100%. So going into red is a must, just make sure not to overdo it. Same goes for hammering. "Cancel hammer" is not to cancel the process, but lets you cancel a swing that you've charged up. Please feel free to add or correct me. This is just stuff I figured out while playing! Love your vids Drae! ❤
Drae, always use excess melted ore to make extra parts. You don't need to follow the schematics to the T. You can put other metal parts with various other parts. I made a sword with Moraka blade, Loha guard, and Serath pommel. I call it my Frankenstein builds. While you quench btw, if you dunk it in the water, instead of pulling it out of the water and possibly leaving it in too long, just press E to immediately bring it back to your tongs. Also, RENT IS 40,000 BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR LOAN AND YOUR RENT. So don't think 20,000 is enough! (Also also, the Horse Chopper is not a polearm so you can still lathe the handle)
I am so sorry to hear you went through that. It is a familiar pain to me so I know what you are going through. Have strength, my friend. For they would not want you to suffer.
Forgot to mention that you can leave and re-enter the mining area and the ores will change. Whilst in the mining area, gold will ONLY spawn in the lowest part of the area
When you pour you don't have to guess where it's gonna land btw, just get closer to the mold and look down it will pour exactly where your reticle's at. Also fun little trick, you can toss ores from pretty far into your chest, just point the reticle at the opening of the chest, the game pretty much never miss as long as the trajectory is clean.
for money i recommend making lots of daggers from gold you get in the mines, then buy a "worker" and send them to the gold mine also gold only spawns at the bottom
Maces are faster, less hammering and less sharpening, so you spend about 20% less time to make overall. Same exact amount of metal to make a mace as a dagger.
#Drae #Protip Drae the Mine is reset fully each time you enter the Mine meaning you can mine everything in the mine leave then return to a fully restocked Mine. Never Buy ore again :P also while you are holding the bucket you can switch to another tool to save the ore quality and temp. this will help you when you are pouring into the mold as you can pour take the bar out put it away and pour again with ease. I'm surprised nobody has said this.... if you keep the crucible with the molten ore in your inventory, not only will it STAY molten whilst you have another tool equipped but it WONT loose any quality!
Hey drae just wanted to say that I found that around 550 degrees is the best temperature for quenching (not sure if it’s the proper way to do it but it gets around 99% each time) hope this helps! Always a good watch :)
U can use gold and cilia to make moraka and also, Tamara ore is the lightest ore, u can sell the moraka ore for 10,000 to 12,000 with masterwork, also to get better quality, u can tap it instead of smacking the balde to get that perfect 99
@Drae War Hammers make the most in terms of what they sell for. You could buy gold ore (4 x 3250 = 13,000) and sell them for a profit at 20,000 gold. Nights are endless and you could fill your shelves before going to sleep. Mines reset after you leave and could be mined throughout the night (Also check all the nodes that you cant see ore sticking out because they could hold more gold ore). Doing custom weapons for people is what progresses the story, if you stop...then no rent is needed :D P.S. - The lathe does nothing to increase the value.
You did have the sward tip, BTW its the one that looks like a twin tipped, and the handle and gard were made by gold and handle white birch by the looks of things
you can go to the mine several times a day, every time there is a new respawn in my game, every stone you can mine can have 1 to several notes, so always chop everything, and I always find the best ones at the bottom of the mine also rent and loan 40 k have fun scamming ppl :)
@drae I'm not sure if you got my comment in the last Froge video. But you have to design the handle before using the lathe. After designing the handle, you get a "shaddow" showing where and how much you have to remove, and the shape of course 😉. Hope he did read about it. Let's hope he does it the right way this time 😁.
EACH rock in the Khonka, Gold, Loha area can drop up to 3 ores. If you want to make perfect alloys: put the higher melting one first and melt it. Then cool it just enough to make it solid. Then put the lower one and melt them all at once.
If you spend a night making as many maces as you can, you can spend the entire next day at the mines without any worry. I bought the two extra sales racks and filled them with maces then mined. I had more ore than I can hold at the start and made like 5k without even being there.
Drae, each of the golden, khanka, and loha rocks down at the bottom of the mine usually have 1-3 ores in them, even hidden inside some of the pieces, it pays to break every piece of the rock when mining down there, you can get quite a few ores per day
you can always refire your blade in the square fire thing to the left of the anvil to redo the quenching part as much as you need and the bottom part of the mine with the dark red Khanka ore has most expensive ores there a chance it might spawn gold , Moraka dark green ore or the dark purple Loha ore
Hey drae really been enjoying the series but I wanted to tell you that the "cancel hammer" is in game and working it just resets the swing like if your at 90% and go for one whole swing but hold the click down too long right click resets the position hope that makes a little sense
Hello drae!! I hope you read this and it helps you but I think with the excess metal you smelted I think you should pour it into the mold and have extra parts you can heat up and use I think that's what you should have been doing also would love to see this game come to consoles also i think its about time to hire some people so you can concentrate on your mining for ores so once you have the gold you can get miners
You can make a decent chunk working late into the night with cheap materials and buying extra racks. But I find the easiest is to mine your own high priced ore and sell that. Gold, silver or one of the gold-alloy weapons is my favorite. You can easily make a mint for a large 2handed gold-alloy sword. But you are naturally limited by how much gold is at the mines, which refreshes everyday. Much less work than making iron swords through the night.
You dont need to be careful when you pour the Liquid in the Mild the Liquid is Infinit when you pour it, try it next Time ! And the hammering canceling is already added you can cancle your current "Swing"
I was kinda hoping he was gonna realize zhendar is the kid holding a sword in his shop since I also forgot his name and never even looked at him 😆 Although you can talk to the armor smith and she can give you the money back, but now Im more curious what is gonna happen with rejecting the nobles son like that. P.S. you need to unlock more guards and pommels to finish the sword he wants you to make, and you can just leave people waiting for as long as you need without penalty.
I bought this game because of you and trust me it's not 20k it's 40k and btw it's good to invest into those "unpaid Labourers" they get you alot of stuff :]
i doubt theyll add so that you can cancel before the handle has crossed 100% since it would be far worse to have a slightly loose handle then have slightley over pressured handle
Drae isn't the smartest on skill management 😁. He should read what all of them do and think about who he wants to use before selecting it. There are many skills to help with better smithing results.
Drae making completely different sword saying that he did what this guy wanted and complaining, because he didn't took it 😂. When he said he needs 1:1 copy in every aspect.
Drae so you know the schematics sets what type of thing you make but you can make blades with any parts you have. So you should use all the extra ore you can

You dont need to be careful when you pour the Liquid in the Mild the Liquid is Infinit when you pour it, try it next Time ! And the hammering canceling is already added you can cancle your current "Swing"
Drae is going to crash out once he encounters a Lord on his next encounter
u can reheat the blade and requench it
New to your channel and I’m enjoying this series.
drae you need to grab the lamp off the ore cart and check it out i unalived laughing
I was kinda hoping he was gonna realize zhendar is the kid holding a sword in his shop since I also forgot his name and never even looked at him 😆
Although you can talk to the armor smith and she can give you the money back, but now Im more curious what is gonna happen with rejecting the nobles son like that.
P.S. you need to unlock more guards and pommels to finish the sword he wants you to make, and you can just leave people waiting for as long as you need without penalty.
My guess put the hat potato in that light crate near the big castle door you found while mining
21:31 should try making multiple blades at ones with good metal then just use shit ones for the hilt and pommel
This is such a fun game to see you play!
Keep up the great vids Drea!
I believe you can requench till you get 99%. all you have to do is re heat it up
I bought this game because of you and trust me it's not 20k it's 40k and btw it's good to invest into those "unpaid Labourers" they get you alot of stuff :]
When drae uses the heaviest blade type for a light sword
i doubt theyll add so that you can cancel before the handle has crossed 100% since it would be far worse to have a slightly loose handle then have slightley over pressured handle
Drae isn't the smartest on skill management 😁.
He should read what all of them do and think about who he wants to use before selecting it. There are many skills to help with better smithing results.
Let’s goo, just finished watching the previous episode!
Hey Drae, you can reheat and quench again :)
Yes keep up the great series
I really love your contents for real but you need to make them longer, 27minutes is not enough for real ✨️
15:41 the calm before the storm
Need more of this
Making a halberd is more cost efficient and also u can add heavy pommel and gaurds to earn more
11:23 you can requench after you mess it up
ILY drae 💕
Ohhhh the guy who was sent into a arena that where the money come from maybe
You can quench again if you did wrong, just re-heat it and do it again
Drae making completely different sword saying that he did what this guy wanted and complaining, because he didn't took it 😂. When he said he needs 1:1 copy in every aspect.
Drae so you know the schematics sets what type of thing you make but you can make blades with any parts you have. So you should use all the extra ore you can
When do you think drea will realize he can heat up the blade again if he botches a quench
I believe it’s ’turning’ on a lathe
