the first time I've ever seen him dodge a run ender. Like, normally I see that happen, he takes it, and boom, everything falls apart. I thought it was intentional to help end the video, but for once, we were given the rare "DF did a smart"
If it works like the cooldown reducers, it wouldn't have done a lot. It would have basically set him back like 4 to 6 cooldown upgrades, depending on the rarity.
@@Schilanithat’s assuming a lot of things, we dont know exactly how it’s calculated it’s possible that instead of adding to the stat it would add a 1.5x multiplier to whatever tbe current stat is
DF, please buy the upgrades in the second black market you 100% have the coins for it after breaking the game so many times, it adds another tier of upgrades
I don’t really care about being first, I just wanted to say I like your videos they help me sleep every night, I use to watch you with my best friend but she passed away two years ago, so sometimes while listening to the videos I’m sad but at the same time atleast she’s in a better place and I’m glad I have those memories with her.
That 'take 2 damage, get 3 health back' is insane because it procks with the self-harm of the dash, so since DF had a heal as well, that meant when he dashed twice, he got 3 health back. With how rapid his dash cooldown was, if he kept just dashing around, he would become unkillable.

I love how every single youtuber I watched only plays the low difficulty and low upgrade game style. This game looks sooo much different in mid to late game! XD
@@Trevor21230 This game is not hard to break even at infamy 40 XD The first time I beat it I had like 13k damage (80% crit) with over 10 attacks/second before the final boss on a normal run lol
@@GlawiousAldredMarciI mean from watching this video I already see multiple combos that give you an auto win for example the item that gives you damage and you take damage when you dash + the items that heal you when you dash and heal you 3 hp when you take damage 2 times 3 items game break xd.
19:20 "diminishing returns" - because of the way cooldown works, the smaller the number gets the BIGGER the effect, exactly balancing those diminishing returns. You're going from 8.6% (11.6 times as fast as base) to 7.7% (13 times as fast as base) - which means things are proccing 11.6% faster after this upgrade. Which is actually MORE than 10% (probably because of rounding for display purposes, internally the numbers will be exactly 10%) In other words cooldown is somewhat OP in this game compared to attack speed and damage. Crit chance is also OP for related reasons
Genuinely Cooldown + AoE = very broken if you get them past a certain point. Especially when you get lucky and stack the like 3 different AoE skills because they stack and do damage per tick usually. And those ticks are tied to cooldown afaik.
4:51 Actully no, you dont get diminishing returns. You are always getting 10% or 15% coldown. Imagine instead that if you are at 50% that is your new 100% of cooldown, 10% of 50% = 5% so it goes to 45% procent. You are always given full value of picking the % cooldown reductions in this game. Actully, it is the only value not giving diminishing returns, All other values in the game is diminishing except cooldown.
IT'S. NOT. DIMINISHING. RETURNS. Reducing cooldown in this game multiplies the effectiveness by the percentage shown. It's the exact opposite of the diminishing returns. Reducing cooldown by 10% from the 100% make it 90%, which means that abilities running on cooldown will trigger (1/0.9) = 1.111x more often. Reducing cooldown by 10% from the 10% make it 9%, which means that abilities running on cooldown will trigger (0.1/0.09) = 1.111x more often. Each cooldown upgrade grants you the same amount, in proportion, of benefit, unlike all others upgrades available in this game, which are subjects to diminishing returns. Like Jesus Christ DF we've been over this a 100 times now.
@@PixelStudios101 it's not, your returns aren't diminishing, each level gives you exactly the same increase. Let's say you have an ability that triggers every 10 seconds and deals 10 damage, which is 1 damage per second. If you decrease your cooldown by 10%, you get 9 seconds cooldown, which is 10dmg/9 seconds = 1.1111 DPS. When you further reduce your cooldown by another 10%, you get 8.1 seconds of cooldown, which is 10dmg/8.1s = 1.2345 DPS, which is 1.1111 times greater than 1.1111. The absolute increase from 1DPS to 1.1111 DPS (0.1111 DPS) is lesser than the increase from 1.1111 to 1.2345 (0.1234 DPS). The results aren't diminishing, the results are growing. Each investment in cooldown scales your current damage by the percentage of increase to frequency, which is constant (11.111% for 10% of reduction in cooldown), and your absolute (as in, in comparison to the state before any upgrades were applied) growth of DPS with each cooldown upgrade is greater than the previous. The example of diminishing returns, for example, is upgrading damage. If you start with 100 damage, and your upgrade adds 10 damage, then you get 110 damage. That's 10% increase. If you get another 10 damage increase, that's 120 damage. It's 20% absolute increase and 9.1% relative increase. The same thing happens with attack speed, crit and crit damage, each of those flattens in time, eventually not giving you any notable increases. In case of area what's being increased is the radius, and each upgrade to radius increases the actual covered area by a square of radius, following the PI*r^2 equation for the area of the circle, so while the increases of radius do diminish, the increases to area diminish far slower than those to damage/attack speed/crit/crit damage. The cooldown reduction is specifically the only upgrade in this game that doesn't have diminishing returns.

Yup - basically 100 %-> 50% is exactly the same as 50%->25% and also the same as 2%->1%. All of these mean "Stuff happens twice as often now".

Moral of the story, damage doesn't matter if I hit you a million times a second😂😂😂😂
he completely stopped himself from healing bro

Bounty of One
I just wanna say crit damage upgrades scales wastly more than dmg upgrades so if you got a good crit chance you should stack some crit dmg upgrades
Dopamine achieved! 🎉😂
