  • The video you've been waiting for--the front Dana 60 for the M715 gets attached to the springs and tires mounted!
But first, Roy leads us through some issues found when you mix manufacturer's various upgrades. See how he solves them to get the Powerstop Z36 brakes installed. And how a miscalculation at the machine shop led to a bit more work than planned.

That’s some nice brakes I used the f350 setup on mine but this looks a lot nicer and easier.

Thanks! This is the same setup on Penny, too. And this is just this end of the brake system--the M715 will also be getting the same Vanco Hydroboost setup Penny currently has. Stopping will not be an issue, for sure!

@@karoffroad I’m going tons on my gladiator soon and I’ve had a couple people tell me to run the hydroboost setup apparently it’s the hot ticket for braking tons. I got to see if my shop has one I can try out as I’ve never used that setup before. My xj was just running the ford brakes and an adjustable proportioning valve.

The hydroboost setup was new to me (April), too. The first time I hit the brakes hard on Penny in the pasture during testing, she was like Wile E Coyote hitting a brick wall. I must have happy-giggled for 10 minutes at the sheer fun of it. It took a little bit to get used to, but I absolutely love it on her now.
