Agreed on the cheap full size axes for real work. Got mine from harbor freight for 18 bucks, 33" fiberglass handle with 3.5lb head. Grinded the edge back much sharper and thinned the cheeks down. Bites deep now. Oh and if it breaks, it's got lifetime warranty so can just swap it out for a new one haha

How about a rundown of the differences between splitting and chopping axes? Maybe try and take a tree down with a splitter 😂

It's almost impossible to cut down a tree with a splitter. Good topic though :)
