Nice to see a new movie that isn't all about special effects, heros and villians, which I am so sick and tired of seeing ads for. The cast here looks great, the music sounds great and I've had a big crush on Lily Rabe for a long time now. Wish I could meet someone like her.
Reminds me of my grandma's hometown where movies would literally take an extra 2 months to be released in their theater, as in one theater, for the entire town with like 5 screens.
When I was young, Ed harris always played the tough guy in every movie he's in. He was always the general or the mob boss . Seeing him like old makes me feel old.
Back is a strange term considering she's been in constant work essentially since staring in 13 as a child... HSM and Princess switch alone are paying her in perpetuity. This is Lily Rabes new found career after AHS and hopefully she finds large success. It's more sad that a talent like hers is outshone by the mediocre yet comforting and relatable performances by Vanessa.
"So? What are you going to do? ...What like long term?..."For breakfast." A movie where everyone tries to help out in their own special way - with a lesson in here comes the joys and heartbreaks of a small town. Ed Harris is an interesting character here.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 Hollywood uses de aging technology on 90 percent of actors. They could be 28 or 90 years old it doesn’t matter. It’s easy to tell.
1983??? It has that 2010's to current snark tone, that passes itself off as comedic. The Apatow effect, way of speech. The superficial passing itself off as an affable tone. Production Design is pretty good. Pass.
Straight to digital? Sure looks good to me. I miss movies like this in theaters. Heck today one could say we starting to miss theaters altogether.
A lot of people still go to theaters the rest of you should start back
@maequn They go to see event movies, and only a few of those prosper, then they turn around and whine about Hollywood’s unoriginality.

Lily Rabe is criminally underrated!!!

I kinda expected things to turn bloody, thanks to Lilly Rabe AND Finn Wittrock being there...
I thought Ed Harris had retired. Glad to see him still at it.
He kicked ass as the bad guy in Westworld
@@GwaiZaifor me, Ed was the best part in Westworld.
I’m so happy Vanessa Hudgens got her career back. 💪🏻 she didn’t deserve what happened to her.
I'm happy 4 her too

It should have hit the theatres.

Now I want to read the book.
It is a meh. But if you don't anything else to read.
Its got lily miss Rabe so i’m innnnnnnn
of course Klosterman. He's the best!
*Mam* ❓❓
Wonder if the ending is the same.
Even with hollywoods attempts to de-age Ed Harris he still looks like the Crypt Keeper
Maybe because 1) Noone is actually trying to ''de-age'' him; 2) He's got older; 3) We'll see how you will look at his age.

What's the second song name ?
I can't wait
Wow. I didn't know Vanessa Hudgens can smoke.
When did Ed Harris get old
Like 20 years ago
You got old 20 years ago
Idk when did he start doing terrible looking movies
Good movies are still being made.
When i looked at Lilly, she automatically reminded me of Marlon Wayne as White Chick😅
High school musical is pregnant. March 2024
Cringe.
Maybe put a lead actress (Lily Rabe) in the title? Then you can add ''big names''...

I’ll pass
The Hollywood Reporter, stupidly over the top, as usual. Vomit.
When all the film critics are people you don’t recognize, you know it’s bad.
Hollywood Reporter and Deadline are known.

Boring middle-aged wyte woman movie. Step to the left, step to the right.... Hard pass.
