Here in RSA, Haval and more so Chery are taking the market by storm because of their equal or better quality versus the Germans for like half the money.
It is not the same for a company to do its things in China under its own quality standards as for a Chinese company to do it in China with its low quality standards.
If they want trust, responsible consumers, shouldn't give it away for free, they should earn that trust, like Xiaomi or Huawei did, good brands, but Byd, it's a smelly shit, when that brand just arrived in Chile, after 2 months I began to see their cars stopped due to breakdowns.
