Having gone through a full bill cycle with the V2L installed, I've saved about 20% on my bill. I have now changed over to Ovo Energy for the summer months, and are hoping to save up to 50 odd percent as we now charge after midnight at8cents a kWh and use the car to run the house outside sun hours as the 12kw sola system does the rest. It's a no brainer. Now costs me cent to get 1km of charge

What's the storage & conversion efficiency of the EV ?
round trip efficiency would be something in the range of 0.8 to 0.88 pretty decent if you get free 5c/kWh for your solar exports or buy in at 8c/kWh overnight and peak power is 40c/kWh. Its still a new thing but in five years it will be pretty accessible.
What are the cons for the EV car battery? Wouldn't constantly charging and discharging battery reduce the life of the EV battery and eventually cost astronomical to replace the car's battery?
Not trying to degrade this product in anyway but trying to get the whole picture..
It would probably be negligible to small amounts of extra wear and tear. Particularly if you have an LFP battery. They’re wildly hardy and long lived.
With a LFP battery you can charge to 100 percent with very little degradation. NMC battery chemistry use between 20 to 80 percent with very little degradation
