honestly my favourite part of this film is that Victor never gets bullied by the other kids, sure their not friends with him but their never explicitly shitty for the sake of being shitty. I'd like to comment about some little facts I know about Tim Burton's movies and this movie The stop motion animated movie was a remake of the live action 1984 movie (also directed by Tim Burton) of the same name. Weird Girl is a reference to Tim's character Stare Girl, I have a figurine of her in my room, and thought it was a neat homage to her when I first noticed The original movie idea was based on Tim Burton's loss of his childhood dog, once stating that he always wished he could bring his dog back from the dead like the monster movies he watched, and often connected to. Tim also featured multiple dogs (like Zero and Scraps in Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas, as a reference to his dog ofc) - Growing up on Tim Burton movies and surrounded by his whole visual style and artwork, you learn a few things.

This guy’s ad transitions are masterful
Oh, no! Peta Jones knows how much I love him! He's too powerful (and I thought he was powerful before).
I remember watching this movie as a little boy, I finally got back to watch this movie on Disney+ and it did not disappoint. In fact, this year is Frankenweenie 2012's 10th anniversary! (as of 2022)
OMG I absolutely love Peta Jones! ❤️
the energy in the beginning is impeccable, 3 minutes of the video, and I'm already laughing like an idiot
I’m just waiting for you to cover corpse bride at this point, it’s my favorite stop motion movie 😭 also this kid, named victor, looking just like the victor from that movie is so wack
So glad he did my two favorite movies when I was younger
I completely forgot about this movie I really loved it as a kid.
PETA OWNS YOU
I remember watching this when I was pretty young, and I was absolutely devastated when the dog died. :(
Im really glad you did a video on this movie, its a classic
Now you just need to make a video on Corpse Bride to complete the saga
Found your channel from the Box Trolls video and have watched a bunch of your videos now. Your breakdowns and commentary are awesome.
I honest-to-god thought that this was just some weird-ass memory that I only had brief glimpses of from time to time.
Very interestingly the comment about loving what you do really stuck with me throughout the moive....
I really believe that Victor and Hamster dude really loved their pets and that's why they came back as normal animals, no mutations, no evil attitude. On the contrary you have all the others kids that did it because of pure curiosity or just wanting to win.
"This movie is about a dog dying."
So this whole movie is a jojo reference.
When sparky dies, the true nature of this video comes forth. True chaos ensues
The original live action was so “bad” the Disney fired Burton but rehired him to remake his own movie
I remember watching this film but not much of the plot, but what i can say is that the main character looks like a dude from a puffs tissues commercial.
hi, so since you're going on a stop-motion watch through this month, can I recommend The Book of Life? It's kinda a mix between cgi and stop-motion I think but the main part if the story is yk stop-motion
It's just such a beautiful movie
if you could watch/review it that would be really really great
I'd like to comment about some little facts I know about Tim Burton's movies and this movie
The stop motion animated movie was a remake of the live action 1984 movie (also directed by Tim Burton) of the same name.
Weird Girl is a reference to Tim's character Stare Girl, I have a figurine of her in my room, and thought it was a neat homage to her when I first noticed
The original movie idea was based on Tim Burton's loss of his childhood dog, once stating that he always wished he could bring his dog back from the dead like the monster movies he watched, and often connected to. Tim also featured multiple dogs (like Zero and Scraps in Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas, as a reference to his dog ofc)

Growing up on Tim Burton movies and surrounded by his whole visual style and artwork, you learn a few things.
_SHZAOW_ my dudes! ⚡ 🤘
I literally cried this movie when i was a kid and yeah it also introduce me to black n white films and shorts!
I fucking loved how the teacher wrote the lightning bolt when I was a kid
Ok but the original live-action Frankenweenie is so endearingly shot and very creative cinematically
