first try with them, 2 neighbours one fanatic purifier and a devouring swam. I guess they were right to fear the dark xD
Probably was a forced spawn, lol.
Perhaps you blinked while gazing into the abyss...
Striping your home system of all ressources to strike some random planet the whole galaxy away is just my kind of being petty.
Realistically if we converted all matter in our solar system into bullets we can probably strike every possible habitable planet in our galaxy and more.
So they stripped half their solar system to shoot a big ball at an uninhabitable planet, learn too aim, Aliens
@Art-Games They missed due to our Suns gravitational anomaly, if our sun had been like theirs it would have struck us.
@@ace_the_race9340 noobs, always take everything into account
@@art-games6230 Can't take into account what you don't know.
Now we have an understandable fanatic purifiers. Kinda tragic with their logic, but this level of foolishness is believable.
I made one with the remnants origin that was previously a xenophile, but then got betrayed by separatist movements that reduced them to just their ecumenopolis homeworld and then literally glassed its arcology back to the Stone Age. Now they’re all understandably “ein-reich-ein-volk” about the whole thing, especially after we found another relic world in the first system surveyed that used to be ours, filled with the primitive descendants of one of our betrayers. That civilization were the very first victims of The Final Solution to the Xeno Question but not before giving that planet the permanent “scum and villany” modifier after we foolishly deported an entire space-nation there for liquidation later, bringing its recolonization by our own species to a virtual halt.
I'm surprised that their homewolrd is not a tombworld since they exploited all their resources.
tomb world is more of a nuked and/or chemically destroyed, than stripmined, that would turn it into weak mineral one or something, like the modifier sometime popping up.
"The dark forrest", a horrible, horrible truth and the question it poses, "Are you prey, or predator?".
You are prey to something ... But you don't know yet
RKVs' solution is so simple : don't live in gravity wells.
Be like gas, and live in self-sufficient swarms of living units.
Turn from one big target to millions, billions, septillions of insignificant ones.
@@weeaboobaguette3943 So, not let our souls be weighed down by gravity?
Me personally, I wouldn't let xenos coexist with us but that's just me
Until a precursor race hits your system with a dual vector foil and folds you're entire star system collapsed into another dimension. Dark forest deterrence is the truth of the universe and dimension strikes are the ultimate WMD
The Three Body Problem (The book series the Dark Forrest Theory (The actual name for Fear The Dark) came from), was such a good book series. I'd recommend it to any sci-fi enthusiasts. Personally, I think the scariest park about The Dark Forrest theory is the fact that that way of working is plausible for life on a galactic scale.
I dont remmeber which I read but i read one i think the first book dident even know there was 3, the only issue with the 3 body problem is the fact it's set to far into the future like I'll try not spoil it for others but after a back and forth for years somehow everyone just gets removed, its anti climactic to the whole struggle, I think if they made it a bit longer and a bit more on the "After effects" instead of going straight to the bell after the whole "flattening" but I'm not a writer so maybe im wrong but the ending bit put me off reading more
When I made a Fear of the Dark Origin race, I used the Elf Portriats and have them be Light-Elves and Dark-Elves. The Light-Elves where the paranoid isolationist (To stay in the light), while the Dark Elves I planned on being Militaristic (To Embark into the Darkness to face whatever is out there)
Edit: I added to their story that they both believe it was deliberate, they were divided at what to do.
Your voice is therapeutic for me, many thanks!
I love this content so much
Thanks!! Glad you're enjoying it :)
Shoul have renamed the divider to brexit
As a Brit I find this hilarious 🤣
Thanks for the vids
Thanks for watching :)
All hail Britannia!
Another great work
Thank you! Cheers!
Is he using a Graphics Mod here? I don't remember the game looking this good, despite having max settings and a 2k monitor.
Nope, I don't use any mods. Just set at 4k and everything cranked :)
@@TheRedKing Huh, maybe I just haven't looked closely enough at the details while focusing on gameplay.
The game does look this good atleast on my laptop, weird.
A friend sending me this video is what got me into Stellaris and now I've watched tons of videos and put so many hours into this game since, haha
Happy to hear it!! :) More Stellaris is always a good thing!!
Can you invade them?
Nope, it's dealt with purely by text - it wasn't an actual habitable world kinda odd ngl
Cheese
Is Eagers explorer need dlc?

When irrelevant third world countries with no achievements to speak of spend all of their time seething over your mere existence, you know you've done something right
