Take the rapid click technique and board overlay glitch, smash those two different expressions together of time saving and create an imaginary time save. A technique both saves time and drags it out. Inscryption run technique reversal: Bypass.
Truly a stunning game with such an incredible sense of atmosphere and a powerful meta narrative. My favourite bit is how "Act 3 is Inscryption if they didn’t know how to design Inscryption" is communicated just as well in this run.
56:49 This is by far the weirdest thing in act III. With everything else I have no idea what's happening but I can at least understand generally how the game got to that point, but this? That's not even a camera angle that exists in the game! Why are you so tall!? What!?!!
Would be a miniscule time optimizatin when deliberately losing a game to put a card down to block one of many attackers to reduce the "teeth dropping overkill" stuff? Like a 1:40, putting a squrrel down in front of the wolf would block the wolf's attack and only have the bat hit u for 2 damage, instead of 5 causing the overkill, since u only need 2 points to lose.
Placing a squirrel down at this point triggers Leshy's unskippable "You know you're allowed to play more than one card per turn right?" dialogue. We would end up having to play two cards which ends up being about the same time as just ending our turn immediately.
Act 2: "Here's a list of cool decks you can create with different synergies and unique interactions"
Grantr1e: "Nah, I'd Ouroboros"

i like your brain
Act 1: Okay so this looks normal i can understand the strat
Act 2: Oro for the win... ok
Act 3: Now I'm lost
Act 3: Where is your god now?
I never realised magnificus was a timed thing. Always thought certain gliches occoured based on your damage

That Act 3 was sure something
magnificus : let's fight
grantr1e : sans
everyone's saying that act III is broken, this looks completely normal!
42:55
oh
46:47

When i saw an act 1 speedrun before the player didnt die and bypassed the grizzlies with scissors but you didnt i dont think
How many times do you die? What? Wow
Ok at 7:44 I'm assuming you died once for smoke? I'll see but if guessing now

How much did you grind between this Vid and yesterdays Vid...?
this was my first full run of the day and probably like sixth in terms of resets if act 1 wasn't looking too lucky.

I can agree with that, it would take some extra precision but it would save around 1 second

@@Grantr1e the amount of detail in speedruns is incredible
43:00 my brain hurts… 🥴
Nice
why do you return to the start screen each time you beat leshy and grimora? (my current guess is to skip the second pack)
do people still run moon%?
