LOL. I always skip over the sailing part and start watching when they get to the island. Do you guys like sleep on your boat? 'Cuz you guys show a lot of hotels, but I never see you actually sleep there.
You should write a guide book of all the Caribbean Island that you both visited, detailing routes to take places to anchor avoiding swells etc. So that any newbie sailors have a heads up. After all you are experts on on the caribbean sailing. I know I would buy it and I don’t even have a vessel. Knowing all the details in where to check in and where to anchor or stay at a marina depending on the island would be very comforting to new sailors. I mean you been there and done it. I enjoy your videos on a weekly basis Glenn you are a amicable human being with a witty personality and so is your Queen Oana who is a beautiful lady to boot.
Thanks Jake. Well, it’s all there in our blogs and videos … you want books too? 😂 Actually there are already very good pilot books that exactly mimic your descriptions, write. By people like us, for us. And we used them to good effect.
Oana is a prize. :-) Great footage of a beautiful Hallberg Rassy going to wind with a bone in her teeth. There should more sailing folk doing that. Thanks. p.s. I'd love to know what a good HR 54 can be picked up for. PM?
i'm so jealous of you guys, i'm thinking of buying a boat myself(i'm from the uk) but i just want one to sail between the windward islands and sleep about 4,what do you recommend ?
Doop. If you just want to sail between the windwards I would recommend a 35-40ft catamaran. There are plenty for sale in Caribbean. You just need to be careful you don’t buy one that was damaged in the recent hurricanes and rebuilt badly. Anyway .... lots of deals in the islands to be had. A cat is perfect because sailing between the island is perfect for a cat: it makes a great living space and very stable at anchor.
I'm of the opinion that sailboats are one of the highest expressions of human endeavor
This is the only channel showing long clips of just sailing with no music. I Love It!!!
We aim to please ..... the sailors among our viewers!

No, we always sleep on the boat, but we like to visit hotels wherever we travel, just out of interest.
i love to try on a sail boat, but i know i will get sea sick and i hate the fishy sea water smell , so i stay home and watch you do the sailing

Feb. 2018. Looks like we just missed each other
@2:26 "Sendall Tunnel: built by the French...." when the plaque on the side states opened by the British in honour of the islands governor in 1894!
Well, we know the history at that time between the English and the French. Thank goodness we are best of friends now eh? :)
