Last winter (22-23) while in Yuma Rosie noticed a brand-new brand of camper and that some folks, we had met at Grand Design had moved to and owned this new company. After a show in San Diego, we went on-line and ordered our 2024 Z-3100. We are 392. We have since travelled to Alaska last summer and spent the winter just outside of Yuma living off grid. This fifth wheel is everything and more. Thank you, Micah and Nate and all the good people of Brinkley, for your hard work and dedication. Burlington Bill Busking on the road and on You Tube.
This is absolutely fantastic. To see RV decision makers actually using RVs is exceptional. There is so much buzz around these and this is part of the reason why. Plus, let's be honest. This thing is so refreshingly devoid of swooshes and tacky graphics. So much to love here.
Your video darn near brought me to tears! The fact that you cared enough to actually take your family on the road, figure out what works and what doesn’t, then go back and rework it all - that speaks huge volume for me!! We have lived in our RV for almost 9 years. How many times I have said it is dark, they didn’t think that part of the design through, guess they forgot to hook that up…etc, well just made me shake my head! If we ever decide to buy another one I am going to look your company up but until then I am going to send as many people possible your way! Cheers from Prince Edward Island, Canada 🇨🇦
As someone who worked on the warranty side of RV service, my unsolicited advice is to provide a bullet point maintenance list for the sales reps and customer to sign. Most new users do not know what's expected of them and sales reps don't care to explain it. THAT will set you apart!
Thanks for the feedback! We are hoping to do a variety of things on the service and parts side of things to set us apart. We appreciate the suggestion!
That is our goal! We will stand behind our product and reslove any warranty issues as quickly as possible. Our customer care team has been tasked with having the mindset of "how can we make this right?" as opposed to "how can we get out of paying for this?"
@@cisco1dog I agree, however, the biggest issue I saw - was that new RV owners had no idea that they were expected to check the seals (the lap sealant and the wiper seals). So, they would bring the RV in for a leak in the wall and because they didn't maintain the seals, their warranty was void. The thing is, they didn't KNOW they needed to check them and the sales reps only care about making the sell, not how their customers experience the RV for (hopefully) years later.
Knowledge is power. One of the many things we are doing is placing QR codes that you can scan with your phone throughout the unit in key locations. The link will take you to a variety of areas including "how to" videos and maintenance videos and checklists.
Just saw my first Brinkley 5th wheel in person today and was very impressed! Nice to see a company actually putting the extra effort into useful innovation and quality for a change!
Look forward to seeing what you can come up with for a bunk house. We are about to embark on a journey from Wisconsin out to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Glacier, and will be pulling our 2017 Jayco 29.5 BHDS. We absolutely love the floor plan, outdoor kitchen/sink, storage, etc. I absolutely hate the payload capacity. If you ever need a beta tester of a new bunkhouse floor plan that is state park friendly, sign me up!
Checking bronkley 3610 as we speak. Had nightmare issues with a Forest River product and was checking Alliance Paradigm. Friends called having walked thru a Brinkley so Sunday we going to look at them.
Just got word of your company recently. Looking forward to watching you grow. There is a lot of room for improvement in the RV industry and if you build it, they will come. :) - Shane
Love the new RVs, really wish that the toy hauler had more living room space. One thing we have found frustrating is not having toy haulers on the market with a dinette and separate recliners. We have 5 animals and finding the right RV has been impossible. We are excited to see what y’all release next. 🤞🏼it’s what we’ve been looking for.
I love this so so much! It is by far my favorite so far. I absolutely love the clean sleek look of the exterior and the interior is gorgeous as well. I've been researching until my head might explode and this has made me come back to look at it again and again. I'm so excited to see more from Brinkley. My dream is a rear kitchen, bunkhouse with a side patio. If Brinkley came out with something close, there'd be no reason to continue my search. Nice job on #1!
Haha we just got ours and they gave us free cups, my husband was like let's put them in theater seats then I heard him scream... I was like what he was like NO CUPHOLDERS?!?! I thought it had cupholder lol
Love your product. I’ve been watching a few videos on these and I was very impressed. They’re gorgeous. They stand apart. We got to see one last week at the Toronto RV show in Canada. Love all the features. Although I’m not in the market for one at this time having just bought a truck camper but if I ever am Brinkley would be the one. Nice job guys👍🇨🇦
It is beautiful. love the floor plan. Are the AC units whisper quiet? Do this unit have a quiet AC. Want to be able to listen to TV or have a conversation while the AC is on. The current AC units used in most RVs are very loud. Are the AC in this unit Whisper quiet?
It looks fantastic! There are two things I would add to this.. One, a wood seat in the shower. And two a four burner stove. Which I feel There is plenty of room for. There are a lot of people that need a seat in the shower and a four burner stove is needed for more cooking with guest and larger gatherings. I can"t wait to see one. We live in Tucson Az. and have owned four fifth wheels. Recently we have been looking for a new one. None of them meeting our needs or wants. After watching the U tube video's we are sure this will be the one. Will there be a dealer in Arizona? Thanks
I am truly in awe. My big question for Brinkley: can the unit realistically be equipped for 3+ month trips and boondocking without exceeding OCCC? I'd want to add at least 400ah of lithium, a 3000w pure sine wave inverter, a generator, washer/dryer and the bedroom a/c. Plus of course a full tank of water and all the normal gear. Is that realistic with only ~3000lbs of OCCC? Or does this unit need shore power to be comfortable?
This is the best was to best was to do it. Design the RV, build it take it across the US to see if you nailed it, if not make the improvements. I have no doubt that y’all will be successful, listen to the customers to be, take & consider their ideas. This RV has my wife & I considering getting one. Wishing y’all the best
We will continue to develop and release marketing materials including construction items. We also offer factory tours at the plant if you are ever in northern Indiana.
Would like to know if there will be an option to put a regular pin box so we can use a goose neck or a Airborne box with our Pullrite Slider. Thank you for giving us a good look. It looks great.
Thanks for the kind words! The Rhino box is the pin box that comes from the factory. This can be switched out aftermarket for any pin box or gooseneck that has the Rhino bolt pattern. Virtually all companies have versions of their pin boxes and goosnecks that should work for this setup.
MSRP price will be right around 100K USD. If you private message us or email us at salesinfo@brinkleyrv.com we would be happy to get you connected with your local Brinkley dealer!
Would love a version with a dedicated working space or perhaps an Ethernet port connected to ceiling router built into the wall for when you choose to travel with a desktop system. Also, is there a clean method to connect and store video game consoles with the the telecast or tv system?
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. We will continue to expand our lineup in the coming months and years. We know many customers are looking for office space and we are continuing to work at desk options in various capacities for our floor plans. The shelf above the TV has an outlet, coax hookup, and HDMI port that are wired into the back of the TV.
I noticed you were attaching the Model Z using a Gen Y Gooseneck pin box. Will that be an approved pin box for the Brinkley? I also noticed that you appear to be pulling the Model Z with a GMC Denali HD (either 2500 or 3500) with a short bed. I have a 2022 GMC 2500HD Denali with Duramax and a short bed, and it looks like I will be close to maxing out GVWR on my truck with the Model Z. Being able to use a gooseneck pin box would save 250 lbs in the bed for a slider fifth wheel hitch. Based your extensive R&D trip, can I tow this Model Z with my 2022 GMC 2500HD Denali Duramax using either the Gen Y gooseneck pin box or the Reese Goosebox pin box? And without a slider? I really hope so, because I would love to buy this Model Z without having to get another truck or use a slider.
Micah towed the first Z prototype with a Gen Y gooseneck and his 2020 GMC 2500HD Denali with Duramax. He did add airbags. The Gen Y pinbox and gooseneck ARE approved for Brinkley's!
That's great! Let us know if there is anything we can help you with. Feel free to email our sales team at salesinfo@brinkleyrv.com if you have any questions or want help getting connected with your local Brinkley dealer!
So far, my husband is really impressed with the features on this, outside of the Luxe brand. The insulation factor is great! Please don't ever sell to THOR! They ruin everything. As a family of 4 with pets and full-time RVers, there would be some things a few of us would change - but those would vary according to their style of living. For us, we are set up for long-term boondocking - lots of solar and battery, so my husband is a big fan of the "built-in wire chase." We are primarily electric users, so we replaced our current rig's microwave and stove/oven with an induction cook top, a small dishwasher, and put in a residential convection microwave. The only things in the rig that use propane are our on demand water heater and the furnace. I think cargo capacity is probably the biggest concern on my list, as most manufacturers build these for the "vacationer." Solar and batteries are not light, neither are full tanks. A bent frame would be a bad time.
Thanks for the feedback! The cargo carry capacity is listed at right around 2,500 lbs. Having said that, the unit has dual 7K axles, upgraded 4K springs on each side, and a pin weight of over 2,000 lbs. so the unit could actually carry well over the 14,495 lbs. GVWR that is listed (although we don't recommend that).
Please be the first to offer a way to get a mobility impaired person into the Rv. I want to travel with my dad who used to have a 5th wheel when he could get around. Also if you could somehow put the bathroom on the main 5th wheel level level instead of 2-3 steps up that would be so much better for mobility impaired. Also it would be great if you could offer a hide-a-bed couch with a great sleeping experience on the main level in the main living area. Scissor beds sleep terrible. If you build accessibility into every model you will always be more attractive to the retirees and the mobility impaired and if you do it over and over the cost increase should be minimal but sell more to all because of the more accessible feel. Great looking rig with a great business model catering to the best customer experience. You guys will be a stand out.
Thanks for the feedback. It is really hard to make a truly accessible coach due to design specifications and space restraints. We will continue to work to offer the most cutting edge designs and features in the industry.
The Model Z 3100 is 34'11". We will begin shipping units to dealers for shows in the next couple of weeks. We are currently taking orders and delivery timelines will vary based on how many retail orders we receive. People who are placing orders now are anticipating delivery in February or March.
please replace all coaxial cables with CAT5e/CAT6 cables to the roof supporting all the new 5G bands with a 4x4 external antenna given most use internet for TV, heat flooring and dual pane windows. Thicker insulated door and seals, please!
Thanks for the feedback. We know that customers want and need different setups to make their coach work best for them. This is one of the reasons we added a 1 1/2" conduit from the roof to the basement area to allow for whatever aftermarket wiring a customer might want.
@@BrinkleyRV Given all of us across the nation dealing with this super cold and wind, is it possible as an option to get all water lines covered with extra insulation and even going the next step with a heat tape placed along that long run into the kitchen which could be turned on/off from inside the underbelly, Dual 12v heat pads on each tank and last could we upgrade from Dual to triple-pane windows? Any advice?
Thanks for the comment and suggestions! We strive to build the highest quality RV on the market and know that having a unit that stands up to what mother nature throws at us is vital in that process. Typically the first thing to fail in the plumbing system is the connections, not the water lines themselves. This is why we have gone to brass fittings instead of plastic. We do have 12V heat pads (and may looking into adding dual ones). I do not believe anyone manufactures triple pane windows (although that doesn't mean it can't be done). We will look into some of these other suggestions as well!
His twin boys slept on the tri fold sofa in the back of the unit. He also took our youngest sales guy along for the first half of the trip and he slept on a blow up mattress under the dinette!
Theater seating needs cup holders, understanding the natural light from the window behind the telavator is important, can't see TV from sofa. Dinette table looks short. If it is,make a leaf that fits when you pull the utensil drawer out about a foot. Box seat for dinette needs a cushion. Other then those items, I think your product is great. If I was in the market, or could afford it and a bigger truck, I'd buy it. Love it.
We own one. I agree with you on the theaters seats but the light tv situation can be easily mitigated by bring the shades down, you can see the tv fine. From living room & the table. Table extends drastically, dinette doesn't need a cushion bc it triples as storage or a desk, watch other videos dude
While most consumers buy based on their emotional connection to the superficial decor, I look to the technical side. I want to know my next unit is going to stand up to six months of travel in all climates. To be brutally honest I don't see any difference in build quality over the competition. Essentially nothing has changed in the last twenty years. No meaningful improvements have been made to ensure units stand the test of time. When is someone going to come along to introduce a unit where the joints of the walls, roof, and caps area sealed better. Admittedly Brinkley units are not in the same category as DRV. I'm on my third DRV. Since 2002 I've only purchased DRV (Houston model) because of their quality and construction. Granted not everybody wants a heavy-duty full time capable unit. However even weekend campers want a quality unit with minimal maintenance. To be clear I am not saying your units are disposable after five years as most seem to be these days. I'm saying a video tour of the build process highlighting the materials, components, construction method, and the Brinkley difference os vital for consumers like me. Manufacturers use new dicor packages and graphics to distract buyers and trick them into buying into the idea their latest offering is an improvement over the last. Unfortunately consumers buy based on the decor. After the honeymoon phase is over they realize its the same old trailer under the new shade of lipstick. And those same consumers buy into the same old BS in two years time because their unit is already showing its age as it begins to fall apart. My current unit is a 2015. She still looks great and is holding up great, just as expected from a solidly built DRV. They're still building the Houston model the exact same way simply because no true innovation has come alone to improve it. I do want to upgrade to a 2024 model for the technology (integrated wireless command center and better lighting) the 2015 model lacks. And yes.....new decor. Everybody loves a new unit. I am no different in that regard. However i want to get out of the unit what i invested in it. Because of the higher resale value of a DRV I believe I've made the most of my investment. This unit, provided the new owner is as anal as I am regarding maintenance and repairs, will continue to crisscross the nation for many years to come. Show us how you build your units: the materials, construction methods, and the components. Is Brinkley really innovative and worth considering? Everyone talks of "shaking up the industry". However for the most part all the shaking is just skin deep. Everything else remains the same.....a shell consisting of vacuum bonded walls filled with the same components, equipment, and materials as the units built all around your facility. The above is all stated with respect: no malice or ill wishes is intended. I understand the industry is in a nose dive. Hopefully you have the capital to survive this downturn. Setting yourselves apart from the competition is key. Particularly as a new company. Consumers are going to be cautious. If you go bust their warranty is void. They need reassurance of quality and your staying power. Video tours can help. As you know consumers are shopping and researching online before they even think about visiting a dealership. So far your channel has nothing of value to potential buyers. I sought out your channel after watching a video tour of the model X by a dealer. I am not in the market for a Model X for myself. It would be for my sister and her husband as a 25th anniversary gift. Clearly a selfish purchase on my behalf.....I want them to come on adventures with me. A Vanleigh Beacon was the front runner until they ceased operations.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out and write. We appreciate your viewpoint and suggestions. We are continuing to create content to show the public what makes us different. We also offer factory tours of our plants here in Goshen, Indiana. We are truly trying to change the way things are done on the quality side of things as that is a HUGE issue in our industry. Not only are we working to develop the best RV on the market, but we are also striving to fix and eliminate many of the the most common warranty issues. We have worked to engineer the Model Z and Model G to address many of the most common warranty claims (slide mech issues, slide floor issues, running gear, plumbing leaks, roof leaks, electrical issues) at the plant before the unit ever leaves the factory. On top of that, we are developing a VIN specific parts tracking system so when someone needs a replacement part we can get the right part out the first time. We will offer same day/next day shipping on all stock parts. We are also auto approving all minor warranty claims rather than having to manually approve which will speed up that process immensely. Lastly, our customer care team has been tasked with having the mindset of “how can we make it right?” rather than “how can we get out of paying for this?” Feel free email us at salesinfo@brinkleyrv.com or give us a call if you would like more information on what sets us apart!
Be like the Japanese automotive industry VS The Big Three. They were putting out garbage that only lasted 100K miles. Then Toyota came with quality and price.
Length? How long before delivery?
@@BrinkleyRV 100% OUTSTANDING I feel once everyone knows this it will become the new standard. So waiting for Tampa RV to see more details.
Thanks for the kind words!
Where did the kids sleep?

I bought a 2022 Grand Design Solitude 375RES. What a piece of junk! My wife and I started full timing and this rig is awful! I’m very interested in touring your Brinkley!
Thanks for the feedback! We hope to set a new standard in the industry!
