- In this video I unbox a pile of packages from Ebay and a Dollar Bin haul from a local comic book store. I pick up tons of awesome Silver Age, Bronze Age and Golden Age comic books. See which comic books I picked up, see if I got an really good deals (I definitely Did) and see which comic books I add to my comic book collection.
I love buying old comic books and I hope to purchase a ton more comics from the Bronze age and earlier.
You have great taste. I like the older comicstoo. Some of them just have really cool artwork and I like looking at the ads. I actually went to Goodwill yesterday and bought 175 wolverine comics for $70. I was debating it, but there were a few older comics in there including the first appearance of the defenders. Most of them were 80s and 90s wolverine which doesn’t excite me a whole lot but I’ve already put up a lot together of about 80 of them and I have some interesting about $100 so I think I can make my money back on half of them at least and get to keep a few and have a little profit.
Sounds like a nice collection you found for the price.
I got wolverine #1 9.6 CgC newsstand variant
It appears that many of your older Comic Books have really nice page quality/condition - that’s always a bonus! :€)
Yeah, If a older comic I buy has a so so cover but really nice white or off white pages and feels supple to the touch I am usually really happy.
@@popfuntoplay With so much attention always paid to covers, I really love getting older issues with better than average interiors. Some sellers will grade books high, and then you open the book and it looks smudged and yellowed.
I love your comic haul videos please make more and the golden age books are very expensive in mint condition but a good lot
I am happy you enjoy them, I love making them. Golden age is really hard to find high grade for a good price but I am pretty happy with decent mid grade stuff. VG to Fine is a sweet spot for me. Cheap enough to collect but looks nice enough to enjoy.
That FF 32 with the Kirby cover is beautiful. I think a great deal. Surprised someone who owned that comic would package it that way.
LOL 9:50 You were quickly evaluating that comics and I was like, wait what? It looks like there's a huge chunk out of the cover! Loooooove the Cardy Aquaman covers! In my newest (still unopened) Ebay haul I have 3 Cardy Teen Titans covers that I always wanted. I saw some Aquaman also but didn't bid because of price or condition.
Haha! I think when we were talking about Akira it gave us both a hankering to get some. I stumbled across just one from a seller I was buying something else from and it was an early issue for $4...but after I ordered it he said that he realized it was "out of stock." Oh well...
20:20 That Looney Tunes is weird because it looks like they date-stamped Bugs Bunny's cheek and then just for fun did it again on his the reflection in the mirror? Which, pardon the pun, is rather cheeky.
Oh yeah the FF 32 was absolutely beautiful, perfect condition for me. Good enough to fully enjoy the issue, the cover art is still vibrant and unharmed but enough little flaws that I am not terrified of opening it up and enjoying the inside. I would love finding a ton more silver age comics in that condition for a great price especially Kirby stuff. Haha yeah on that comic I saw the left edge and it looked pretty good but the right side was obscured by my camera lol once I looked there I was like oh its trashed haha. With a lot like that though I just needed 2-3 of the Silver age comics to be in decent shape for the whole thing to be a great deal so it was no big deal. Yeah Cardys run on Aquaman is exquisite, I really want to pick up all his covers I love them. I need to track down all the Teen Titans as well, I probably only have 2-3 of his covers on that line. I think it was coincidentally the right time and the right place for the Akira, I think I was looking for something else and then I saw the listing and did not think about it then I realized it was 4 of the last 5 issues. I really need to figure out what I need to finish the run. The last time I put 5-6 duplicates in my shop they sold out within days at $8-$10 each so I really should just buy a big lot if its cheap if it includes the issues I need since I could easily sell off the duplicates. With Akira I always found that you need to buy a ton of them at once to really get a good deal. Haha I did not notice that on Bugs Bunny that is really funny. Would have been creepy funny if they were someone able to get the stamp to stamp backwards in the reflection. Either way I kinda like the provenance on the old comics.
Fantastic Four #32 had a great plot twist! I love mystery packages. Fun video. If I'm ever in NYC I'd visit your store.
A mystery box with decent value is always fun.
Wow, some great comics you picked up. Thumbs up for the daily uploads these past days :)
Definitely some awesome stuff, I cannot wait to go on a buying spree again and pick up another pile of old comics lol. I have to wait a while though, I have a huge Funko Collection I am buying soon. I have a few more videos already filmed so I hope to keep up the daily videos for at least a week.
Can't get enough comic haul videos👍
Happy your enjoying them! Make sure to see my newest comic haul on my channel pop comics.
WOW, BUDDY, WHAT A HUGE DELIGHTFUL COMIC BOOK HAUL. MELVIN MONSTER #8 WAS FABULOUS.
Yeah, I did not realize it was in the lot but definitely a cool comic.
I must be a real nerd because hung until the end to watch your fun video, lol.
Haha nice, I am definitely a Nerd myself. Thanks for watching.
@@popfuntoplay I can't wait to check your store next year when I come to NY.
Grats, you got some good grabs! I collect Pops and comics too. I really liked the video.
Thank you definitely some awesome stuff in this haul that I am super thrilled to own. Pops and Comics are both fun to collect :)
Awesome Looney Tunes Merry Melodies comics- the stories/art is great!!
They are fantastic!
@@popfuntoplay I just bought a ton from Lone star at very reasonable prices. All from Golden age too.
Love watching your excitement opening these
I am happy you enjoy the hauls with me.
Amazing video! Love this series on your channel.Keep up the good work!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you, I need to do comic videos more often hehe
oh boy. i was waiting for an epic comic haul. 1000/10
Haha, Nice. I wish they were more popular so I could do them more often. But regardless I am always itching to do more so there will be more in the future.
i can feel u. i know they get less views than funko pops and toys in general but we lucky few we band of brothers exist:) really thank you for the time u spend to give us this awesome entertainment ! when u post a comic video haul i usually watch it 3-6 times during the week. its a pleasure to rewatch them. ty again!
Wow nice, that is why I love making the comic videos because I know some people really enjoy them and I appreciate that. I also love to make them so they are something I do when I want to sit back and make an enjoyable long video. I will definitely be making more soon. Thank you so much for the repeat viewings I really appreciate that. Here is 4 hauls I did on my first channel before I started this one lol so you have a little bit more to watch ua-cam.com/channels/D4bUfS9i2UeGb27YU0Y6CA.html
oOo. thank u again! and i was ready to go to sleep.aaaaaah i love it!
Those 1940s Looney Tunes comics and New Funnies are awesome! I can only imagine what kids would have thought of them back then. Before any kind of home media, this was a guaranteed way to enjoy a cartoon story over and over.
I do really enjoy them and they are relatively cheap to collect vs other comics from that era.
Wow some of that packaging was horrendous!! Kool books btw :)
Yeah bad packaging but everything arrived pretty unscathed so I am happy with all the comic books.
I was fortunate to purchase a Flying Saucers Comics #1 in Fine+ condition at my “L. C. S.” A couple of years ago - I LOVE that Comic Book. It was a “right time, right place” type of Purchase - Joy! :€)
Awesome, it is always nice to have those comics you found for a steal years ago in your collection. Everytime I see comics in my collection like that it makes me happy.
Love comic books and love your comic book videos :)
I love comic book as well and I love making the comic book videos.
LOL why would you wait a year to open up a package in the mail of something you wanted. Oh and you mentioned while talking about the FF issue, mycomicshop.com. That's the website started by Lone Star Comics and its creator/ proprietor buddy Saunders back in the 60s and 70s when he started his mail-order business as a kid. Anyway, he comes out this way every year to attend a hardcore, eccentric little show south of Oklahoma City here. He's from Texas, so it's closed , plus he's got old friends in the hobby here. I've seen him quite a number of times. LOL he's also kind of snaked under me and bought out one of the vendors at the show (years ago) before I could go in there and search for some Catwoman issues in one of the boxes. The thing was I hadn't gotten to a few boxes until the second day and by the time I got over to that booth, the vendor was telling me that buddy had just bought out the rest of his product. It kind of chapped my ass at the time cuz there was stuff I really wanted to look for in the rest of that dealers stuff. And wowzers, you want to put together a run of Katy Keene together? Are you talking about just the main series or all the little other volumes & specials with her name on it? Some of those are incredibly hard to find, especially not beat to hell. Good luck on that though, sir. I know I'd absolutely be over the moon to find, somehow, a full run of air boy or air fighter comics from the 40s and 50s.
Yeahhhhh! COMIC BOOK HAUL!!!!! I SO agree with you on Nick Cardy! What an underrated artists. I grew up collecting comic books when he replaced Neal Adams as the main cover artist on DC titles. His cover told stories, made you really want to open the book and read what it was all about. AQUAMAN # 30 (great cover!) in VG to Fine is more of a $20 to $40 on Ebay. And your western-themed Porky Pig (actual title is FOUR COLOR) # 156 is not faded. I'm actually hunting for this issue (I love western-themed and christmas-themed cartoon characters) and every copy I've seen on Ebay looks faded like this. It was either the intention of the colorist or a slight printing error on that issue. You actually got two Porky Pig comics I am looking for. The other one is the one you called a "hallowen-themed" cover. It's not, it's really more of a western themed as the masked chaacter on the cover is a bandit. And that gorgeous Dell Giant Bugs Bunny Christmas! What a beauty! This was a great lot at a huge bargain! And the rest of the stuff was a lot of fun to watch. Lots of comics we don't see often on UA-cam.
Woo Hoo! I seem to track down some rare Golden Age books your looking for pretty often lol Your not happening to be on the hunt for a Detective 27 or Action #1? I would like those to turn up in a random haul lol That is one of the main reasons I love Nick Cardy covers, his artwork really does tell a story within a single image and you rarely see that on comic book covers these days. I love it such fun stuff and I definitely want to get everything he has done. Really good to know on the Dell 4 color Porky Pig issues, I looked it up and the all do have that same look. Its a really great cover, I love it. I really do love all that Golden Age stuff but I am a novice compared to you so I do appreciate the knowledge sharing and I really hope to pick up way more lots of golden age stuff. I love finding kinda rare expensive stuff mixed into lots like the ones in this video. And a few higher grade comics mixed in even better. The Millie The Model issue I got in this lot looks like it might be worth $50-$100 in the condition its in so I really love the opportunity to get some higher valued rare stuff for a great price. I hope to collect that way into a really decent golden age collection. The Dell Giant Bug Bunny Christmas book was amazing, it almost looks like its brand new. Its so glossy and the pages so white. The one crease is the only hint of damage on the book, I just love getting old comics in that condition its unbelievable its survived this long in that shape. I do really like finding unique and different things for my collection because I not only love it but I think it makes for a bit of a different comic haul video then you normally see on UA-cam and I do want to make videos that are fun, different and unique. Thanks so much for the insightful comments.
My dad collects some comics and he would love some of those
Very awesome, tons of cool comics in this haul so I am not surprised.
Pop Fun To Play neither am i
Your longest yet most informative Comic Haul video. Those vintage buys are the real deal. I have close to 7,000 comics and they are all bagged and stored in a climate controlled room. I can ONLY imagine how many you have. Wow
Its funny too, I kinda have it down now how I want to edit these hauls so this one felt easier and faster to edit which is great I hope to do more comic videos when I get a chance since I love doing them. Still took a very long time but the more efficient I can get the better. I am not sure where my current count is but its a ton and stuff piles up before I have time to sort it. I really need more space so I can effectively sort and pull duplicates for sale to keep the ball rolling and more videos coming out etc. 7000 is a nice size collection. I always say its not how many you have but how much fun you had getting them and reading them that really counts. I hope to add more information to my hauls in the future so its not just me spouting out #10 #15 #40 hahah Thanks for all the great comments lately.
I've actually got about 4 or 5 packages boxes of comics I've not opened from eBay and it's been about 2 years,i might get around to it soon
haha you should open them up and enjoy. I hear you though because I do videos some packages back up lol
I’m sure that you already know that Cardy did the cover-art for a BUNCH of D. C.’s Horror Comic Books (Ghosts & House of Secrets in particular) in the Bronze-age. Many of them aren’t signed with his classic N. C. Nomb-da-plumb, so it’s a matter of being familiar with his art style to successfully determine their pedigree - happy hunting! :€)
Yeah I figured that out a few years ago after I kept buying them because I thought they were great lol. So many times I end up collecting certain artist without realizing that is the reason why I keep buying the comics. He also did some Romance stuff which I love.
Love ur comics bro
Thank you :)
Thank you for bring comic review
You are welcome, I love doing comic haul videos.
Just got a whole line of star trek the next generation comics from the early 90s (50-60 comics) for $2.00 with No p&p. There are deffo deals out there, I feel some people don't realise what they have in their possession!
wow nice score. Individually not a really valuable comic but getting a whole stack for so cheap is thrilling.
You are short changing yourself on that second to last pack!
I believe that Daredevil issue with the Punisher is $10 or so.
And the Amazing Spiderman is from the Kraven's Last Hunt story which is considered one of the best Spiderman stories of all time and is probably $10-20.
Definitely 2 really cool comic books, I get those two in pretty often though and already have them so I guess it was not too thrilling to me haha. I am actually still not sure why I bought that lot though those 2 alone pretty much pay for everything.
1st yay comic book haul!! Nice haha
1st reply Thanks :)
Its my favorite type of video to make hehe
Part 2... The lot with the Justice League 66 book, and I'm pretty sure he did this his whole career, if it's a Neal Adams book, I think he would have put his distinctive signature on the cover. I don't remember actually ever seeing a cover of his without the signature, but I could be mistaken and the first book from that lot with Valkyrie on the cover is a reprint of her first appearance. Your Adventure Comics 374 is in a little bit worse shape than my copy. And yeah Cardy is quite good, but one of my top favs is infantino. And yes that was an interesting lot with all the newspapers in cardboard shoved in the Box. Speaking of Walter Lantz , I have one issue of Andy panda, number 383 , by the way. And even though that Porky Pig book has lost all its finish and the gloss from 1947, that's probably one I would want as well actually. And you can tell it's from the 40s just looking at the thing by the type of paper stock. And young Master Jerome Brooks could have at least put his stamp on the back cover LOL and yeah geez, why did you sell the books your grandma gave you when you were a kid ? They're from the 40s for Pete's sakes. So out of curiosity, do you have to remember if any of those she gave you as a kid might have been superhero books? Those are even tougher to find mid grade or better or just in general than the funny, romance or western books. And just an observation I've noticed in all these videos, you tend to say comic book frequently per video when we all know we're talking about comic books. In my experience people usually say books or comics, but most of the time in these videos I'm hearing comic books every time they're referred to. That's just kind of an interesting thing I've noticed. Oh yeah, even in the description. LOL I don't know why, it's just kind of one of those things I guess. Anyway, still just under 30 minutes left to finish this video. Good content though as usual.
I will have to check my Neil Adams covers to see if they all have his signature. Yes there were some Super Hero Books that I had from my Grandma, I definitely want to replace the ones I sold. The most expensive would be Batman 40 with the Joker on the cover it was in a Fine or Fine + condition.
@@popfuntoplay as you know, in the late 80s and early 90s, he had his own company, Neal Adams did, called continuity where he got to tell a lot of his own stories that had been boiling around in his head for a long time , and I guess he just wanted to put them in their own shared universe. But all of the issues I can think of that he did the covers for within the continuity label, had his signature on them.
Awesome books. You are awesome love the channel. Do you have any punisher
Thank you, I am happy you enjoy my collection. I have almost every Punisher comic made in my collection, I think its 2-3 long boxes full and includes ASM 129. I am mostly missing newer stuff from the last few years.
@@popfuntoplay how do I pm you. You want my email address
Oh I thought you meant in my collection, for sale I have a few issues for sale but I am mostly just selling in my shop because of the lack of time.
Very cool.
I like your comic book videos, I have a lot of DC Comics, I like DC comics😍🔥💪👍
DC comics are cool, I love old ones especially.
Pop Fun To Play Yes, me to👍
It was in the second bag of dollor books you got at 5733 is were it starts for it
Ah ok that series was called Planet Of The Apes Green Lantern and it came out in 2017 via Boom Studios. Tons of cool covers from the series I definitely want to pick up the rest. Here they are listed on my comic shop www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=41324180
Ok thanks
I got lucky and found a Tip Top comics from Half Price Books, it turns out it was the first peanuts in comics.
Oh wow awesome score!
I have a Grail to some people batgirl issue 12 first appearance of Harley Quinn only issue is a rip at bottom where staple is and pages looks great I kinda wondering how much would that be worth?
Depends on how bad the rip is and the condition of the rest of the book but I am sure even with a tear it is at least $75-$100 still
Hey let me know if you will what you find out about the planet of the apes one like which volume it is thanks
It has been a while since I made this video, give me the time stamp of the comic you are talking about so I can look it up.
this video is awesome
I am happy you enjoyed it.
Can;t help but guess that Flying Saucers comic has Tony Tallarico art?
Had to look it up it says Cover by Frank Springer
I have a couple of vintage comic books would be interested to trade for pops? I also have newer ones! Which ones are you looking for? I be willing to trade for pops
I definitely would trade pops for comics but at this time I am not doing any mail order so it would be in shop only etc.
I want to say its at the end of the one with the time on it as59:16
Maybe link us to the sellers Ebay links?
Most good deals are not from one seller regularly listing but from someone who does not normally sell comics, selling some comics they have, found at a garage sale or inherited. You have to search for collections that look like a good deal.
Its so crazy that items that can be so much older than alot of people still racist today in our modern world.Great video and looking foward to the next one.
Honestly there are things that are not even that old that are racist or sexist etc, society has come along way in a short time but there still a ton of room for improvement.
More comic book videos! 👍🏻
I definitely need to do more.
No beatboxing? Where is your son? We miss him ☺. Nice! Comic book haul. I personally do not like ebay it's full of scammers.
I have had pretty good luck with Ebay and the few times ebay sided with me and I got refunds so I am not too worried. Its worth the chance to me because of all the deals I find.
@@popfuntoplay I haven't had luck with Ebay. I got scammed once and never again went back again to that website. I'm still watching this video this one is long ☺.
Oh yeah, this is one of those Labor of love videos aka Comic Book videos I like to do ever so often haha. I do these just because I really enjoy it.
@@popfuntoplay Thank you! I'm sure i'm not the only one that enjoys watching this series.(Comic books are awesome.) I can't wait for October 13th I will be buying the walking dead box set.

I love comic cons
They are a ton of fun, I eventually hope my channel is large enough that I can go to a few a year around the world so I can meet more people and find more unique awesome things for my collection.
Yes of course
İ'm from Turkey and I am a big fan of your chanel
Very cool, I never really looked into comics from Turkey I will have to research that a little.
Thanks
Where do u order your mystery boxes?..or will u reveal your secret?...
I usually say where I purchase each lot etc. I really don't buy pure mystery boxes, i find a ton of them are kinda Junk!!!! What I do is look for lots full of comics that interest me and make bids. Sometimes you only see a few of the comics and have to make a guess on the rest etc.
@@popfuntoplay fo u ever getany reader or filler key books..that u would possibly sell..or incomplete keys..plz message me if u do...god bless...great finds

Garage Sales, Thift Stores, Comic Shops, Books Shops, Ebay, people directly sell to me etc. Pretty much anywhere I can get a decent price.
Hey man , overall a interesting and very longg haul lol , I was wondering if you found your extra for the Thomas Wayne Batman Pop and also I will most likely be going to your shop tomorrow to buy some pops I have on hold and I am bringing a couple of pops I am willing to sale to you for a pretty good price .
I have not found him yet, I found my Thrill Killer Batman and Earth 2 Batman so not 100% sure yet if I have a duplicate of him.

Sounds good, see you tomorrow.
Got any comics for sale mate
Tons for sale in my shop but at the moment I am not doing any mail order.
Hi cool vido
Thank you :)
These are the comics I like great video cheers
Me too, me too.
does your kid collect comic books as well
He does, and he sometimes reads them as well. Right now Sponge Bob is his favorite comic to collect but he also collects a lot of Spider-Man and a few others. He picked up any comic he thinks has a "Epic Cover"
How many comics do you have 😛😍😃😇
Somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 I have a ton I need to sort still.
i love video
Thanks ;)
why would somebody cut off the cover name like that?
Back in the day if a comic did not sell at the newstand they would rip off the title from the cover and send just the titles back to the distributor to get a refund for the unsold issue.
Love the Looney Tunes Comics
They are really awesome, I definitely want to get more of them.
I would trade you anything comic book like to you for the moon knight issue 1
At this time I am trying to avoid mail order do to a lack of time.
Great stuff man but you rlly need to put some variety into your commentary, everything is either "prettty cool" or "awesome" lol
Well these haul videos are more about just blowing through a lot of covers to give you a visual tour through a collection etc. Other videos I do with commentary have far fewer items to go through etc. its a trade off.
Wow dude great! Lmfao sorry but coming from a fellow comic collector you seem like a loser dude like why and how do you spend so much on shit?
I have a ship that buys and sells collectibles so a ton goes through my hands. I collect a ton because I love it but I also sell a ton.
IIIOI thumbs up!
Thank you ❤
a bunch of fire starter
I guess I need to keep you away from my comics lol Burning comics sounds terrible.
Did you give me a shoutout?
No shout outs in this video.
If my math is correct a total of 321.
321 total comics? I guess I had a long box worth in this video lol
@@popfuntoplay No, the cost of all comics came to a total of 321. Not bad! Do you read manga as well? One day can you do a manga haul?
Oh haha yeah for what I got that was a great price for everything. I want to get into Manga more. I love Osamu Tezuka but want to collect more. I just find its very hard to sell so the way I collect where I find lots or collections cheap and then sell off the duplicates and things I do not want at a profit is a lot harder to do with Manga. That is probably why I do not buy it that often, although this video did have some Akira stuff in it. I really love how old school 1960s Manga looks so one day I want to get into collecting a ton of that. They have such awesome covers etc. If I can find a way to buy a large lot of that stuff from Japan for semi cheap I will do that as a haul kinda like the French haul I did a few weeks ago.
@@popfuntoplay I understand. I started reading comics and I started to read manga. I went online and saw some box sets running 100-300 dollars. I'm still watching this video. I think by the end of today I will watch the ENTIRE video ☺. Yes! The walking dead box set looks amazing and has all 3 compendium in one box. I got into comics thanks to the Walkimg dead.
