I just used Dennis as an example of why I need to keep everything to my Wife........fail! They just don't understand. I also wonder now I am re-aquainted with Dennis , whether he might be a distant relative of the completely magnificent Fred Dibnah. So looking forward to Dennis afloat with grin factor 10 in full effect. Just so uplifting to see this series again. Pass the easy start
The hull looks like an early 60's Dowty Turbocraft & the scoop & pump look like 2 stage Hamilton Chinook. In the UK low power engines like the Ford 10 were on the 2 stage & the Zephyr engine had the 3 stage. That nozzle has been changed from the original trapdoor. I have a 1960 Buehler Turbocraft (USA) with the original Chinook 3 stage jet pump that I run on the Snake River in Idaho. I have a modified Berkeley nozzle with a 383 Chevy engine & the pump handles 400+ HP. Buehler was US licenced to Hamilton NZ & Dowty was UK. ua-cam.com/video/UprErODQIL4/v-deo.html
You should never run a jetunit out of water... they have water cooled seals and cutlass bearings.. always disconnect the drive shaft from the engine if you need to run the engine ashore
He's a character isn't he... fantastic. These videos are great. Absolutely love it
Bloody good entertainment. Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, Dennis and Andrew!

It has a normal car engine, NOT a Jet engine
I dont believe that your boat has a jet engine that's a gas engine attached to a jet pump so how can you fix it if you dont even know what you have ?
Get out a hammer...LMAO!!!!
I recall doing that to my '57 TR-3 for some months until I found a replacement
If worst comes to worst, could you affix a sail rig to it? ^L^
His back yard is a dump. Maybe he should clean that crap up first.... I would hate to live next door.
another bloody hoarder.
