Finally found all the episodes after so many years, it was great watching him as a young man and I’m happy to say my dad is still exactly the same🥲 always making something out of nothing and nothing ever gets thrown away😆
The inventor of this series needs a raise, I have watched every episode today and I was very entertained! Good job guys, the only complaint I have is that there is not enough driving and sailing the projects, this is UA-cam not TV!
Nice work Dennis.... I have a restored 1963 Hamilton jet 30mk1 Here in New Zealand and its Great to see around the world the old boats being put back together again👍theres nothing like a classic😍
I just stumbled on your channel- LOVE IT! excellent content, love the format, very entertaining (for a bunch of Brits!) - PLEASE keep doing what your'e doing!! - Much love from America
Ditch the V6 engine Dennis and fit a small-block V8. Say from a Rover, properly marinised of course. Just make sure its an older model that has a carburettor and contact-points ignition.
Lol he cant even get the damn engine to start and run, and to top it off he runs into shore and sucks a bunch of rocks up the jet pump, come on Dennis you leave much to be desired
I just get the impression that this is a very unpleasant selfish man. He said that he was doing it for the family, but the truth is that it is all for himself, it's a 2 person speed boat so where would the children sit, on the engine? Mean, self centered and full'O'Shite!
Dennis is a flaming genius. What a can do attitude.

Definitely a hot rodder love this guys attitude

It was a mini series on discovery channel about 19 years ago
In life you meet many characters, some cannot even wire a plug, then there's people like Dennis who can turn there hand to any task.
Dennis is one of those guys who doesn't get excited or upset he just buckles down and gets the job done
Best boating shorts ever

Oh I had my fingers crossed for you Dennis well done :D

Welcome aboard!
Boating on a budget is all about the smiles per mile!
People like him are what made Briton great! Tremendous and I dont even like power boats 😁
Can’t call Dennis a hoarder anymore now that he has completed a project
Great job mate!
Great to see again!
That was amazing
Well, it didn't have a sail, but still a good project. I've known people like Dennis before, always able to make something out of nothing. 👍
this is a cool channel
Rumour has it that Dennis was last seen with Essex Girl running the gauntlet with the US Coast Guard between Florida and Cuba.........

Not a chance he painted that the night before.
Quite possible if you used a QD enamel.
@@basaltplainscreationsaustr1194 Did you see the condition when he said it. No way.
Put the thing in neutral and you can steer and control the thing at low speed, had one in the 80 s here in Aust. FWIW..
Buy Dennis a set of hole saws
Yes, and at least an angle grinder! Surely he would find a use for it after the show, mean he is a mechanic after all
Good on ya Dennis, but rather you than me Mate , Stay Safe !!!.
looks a lot of fun,
What year was this filmed ?
2005 according to the credits.
@@dolvaran Thanks. I must have missed that, i do usually look.
Go Dennis Go!
Good onya. Just need to learn how to handle a jet boat. It'll turn on a sixpence if you can control it between reverse, neutral and forward.
it aint stupid if it works
Nothing like cutting sheet metal without ear protection! What?
He could easily fit another engine down the road that would really make that boat skip across the water.
That is not a jet engine. Click bait! WTF
Yes it most certainly is. A water jet.
Ever heard of a jetski bro? Or are they all click bait?
I would not want Dennis working on anything I own.
I was thinking that all the time.
Why?
Lol he cant even get the damn engine to start and run, and to top it off he runs into shore and sucks a bunch of rocks up the jet pump, come on Dennis you leave much to be desired

As the son of Dennis, I can say that he is one of the most selfless people I have ever known.
You do not know Dennis , so I can tell you how wrong you are on judging him like that
Well your impressions are wrong
A silk purse out of a sows ear. 😁
I thought Tom was getting in it 🤔.
Tom was too chicken.
A bodger unable to take advice. I would not want him working on anything I owned.
I wouldn't either! Looks great, for a death trap that is🤣
