The fact that he’s immune to fire, takes barely any damage, and has 3 health bars makes it all the more impressive how close our boy Placi was.
I think it was only Demon's second healthbar that almost ended, and if so, nah, by that point it was no contest.
Also, he never staggers.

He has about 60k health, unbreakable poise (parry being the way to break poise in Sekiro) Demon Bell which buffs his hitting power by like 15-30% ridiculous defense (the reason is because Sekiro has no stamina). Beast Clergy man did like 8k, then another 10k, before the DD wore off then he did another 5k before phase 2 where he did like 14k (with 30% health reduced because of DD debuff). His first phase health bar is more health then 90% of bosses (mini and field bosses included) the rest hardly win out. He has more total health than any other boss in the game. Now in Sekiro, Demon of hatred health value is actually 20k total but here they cranked it up to 60k SO actually any boss that beat his first phase actually would’ve won. Just based off the health damage he did with beast clergy man then 10k before damage counter reset then the second he did another 5k health DH would’ve died. So in Elden Ring he is buffed to all hell (3x) health and Demon Bell to increase damage….its def not “original game stats”
Added it up before Maliketh died…just Maliketh…10.8k, 6.5k and then 17.3k. Plus if you wanted to add in BC that’s like a 2x kill…around 37k damage without the debuff of DD had this buffed version Over half dead in 3rd phase, though there was approx 6-8k health left putting him at over 42k and add the DD debuff of based off the bar is 20-25%. For 2/3 of his life bar would put him around 52-56K give or take a couple thousand. All that said DH has only 20k and 15k in the memory….so he is beyond original…
The fact that almost all of the bosses only have one health bar and most (not all) of their attacks were tickling him while he also has 3 phases made him too much for them to handle even if he wasn't doing that much damage.
He's also doing 0 poise damage... (I mean granted poise damage in that game has to be low)
After Maliketh died, I knew Malenia was the only hope to beat that thing... and what a battle of attrition it was!! The battle for the stronger boss in the series, it took a 10 minutes battle to determine it... and it was clutch af with the rot.
Full hp Maliketh would have demolished him though I think.
Elden beast did come close but it was only with the help of radagon, alone it would have barely reached phase 3
And remember,our tiny sekiro have to fight that 3 phase big ass thing all by himself

Wait so this is a Sekiro boss? I've never played Sekiro but holy shit does this thing look crazy and it can easily beat most of the bosses in Elden ring.
@@rogueraccoon1840 yes, it's a Sekiro boss(a "secret" boss, actually). He has a secret buff that gives him 70% reduced damaged against non-players(reason was before fight him, you see him fighting against soldiers). A cool boss, even makes a prison of fire on his last phase. It's also one of the two only bosses that has 3 phases.

Eh. His resistances have clearly been fiddled with. Only Malenia would be able to compete and attrit him down with lifesteal. As with any Sekiro port, the Demon's stats were completely arbitrary.

I disagree. Wolf is actually very strong. The fact that you can deflect so much is incredible. Deflecting Great Serpent and Divine Dragon's sword is pretty impressive.

what the hell is this insane physical damage resistance on Demon of Hatred??
He doesn't resist all physical attacks- Placidusax's wing sweep which deals standard, for instance. He has massive- 80 or 90%- resistance to strike (Godfrey and Radagon's primary damage type), and slightly less (around 70% ish) to slash and pierce (Malenia's damage type). He is immune to bleed but not to rot, and seems to resist fire by 100%, holy by 20 or 40% and lightning by nothing.

A Sekiro Boss vs Elden Ring is amazing to see.
I love the Elden Beast fight - like at 32:30, with the larges travelling. If the camera could be less stuck and move more around it would be amazing.
Maliketh absolutely ripped through his healt bars, but Mohg barely scratched him.

With Sekiro it's usually about getting the posture bar filled for a deathblow than taking down their HP, but the lower that is the easier the other is.
But DoH has a tanky health AND posture bar. So yeah he takes a while. Divine Confetti helps (is that why he was so weak to holy attacks like in the Elden Beast fight?)

I would be curious exactly what the resistances are for all the non-physical attacks. Him taking a lot from Holy makes sense. Same for his fire immunity. Lightning and magic are the most open to interpretation. The physical resistances he has seem to be ripped from the original game which explains why Godfrey couldn't do much, while Gideon managed to take out 50% hp.
Was his Rot resistance/vulnerability just made the same as his terror resistance from the original game? Even to this day, it's weird that he was vulnerable to terror given that Sekiro has no real way to proc it.
He is vulnerable to terror because he has 999 resistance to it. It takes a specific effect to disable terror proc which nobody has exactly becuase sekiro can’t cause it. Although certain enemy types will have terror proc disabled by default becuase they are special, like how Phantom Monk can’t be poisoned becuase she isn’t real

Maybe he isn't immuned to bleed, but as resistant to it as he is to scarlet rot... it took Malenia the Aeonia, a full rotted waterfowl dance and like a full second of the heart of the clone attack for the rot to prock... that's insane resistance.

I am currently after 90+ hours into beating Sekiro. Have not even met Inner Isshin, Inner Owl Father, but Demon of Hatred may be the hardest boss fight I ever attempted.
He's ridiculously difficult in Sekiro. But it sure is an epic fight once I finally beat him
Inner Isshin, is a fun fight and not to much harder than Regular Isshin, and Inner owl father is kind of hard to me cause you have to be kind of patient with his fight but still a fun fight.
Inner Owl is probably the hardest fight in Sekiro

Only Malenia's rot can deal with that crazy HP lol, Maliketh has destined death but too bad he can't last long enough with that tiny HP

Out of every Sekiro boss, DoH is the least arbitrary as he's the one boss that barely even uses Sekiro's combat system compared to everything else.

The demon of hatred made everything suffer how i suffered against him in sekiro.

Since pretty much all Sekiro enemies and bosses can be taken down by Terror (as I saw in a Sekiro boss vs boss series of videos) with some more resistant to others of course, the equivalent here would be Deathblight.
In that case it would've been interesting to see how it fared against Fortissax, but Fortissax unfortunately has barely more health than Mist Noble, and those deathblight clouds I don't recall being too threatening because they're so scattered, they're much more of a concern with basilisks. And also I have no idea what his Terror resistance even is besides not being 100%

This is my hardest souls boss. Fighting him stopped being fun very quickly. I understand why he’s in sekiro, but I’m also glad they made him optional. I beat him once and never even tried again.
Can we have a video of every Bloodborne boss vs every Elden ring boss in a gauntlet style so if cleric beast beat Godrick if fights until defeat against the rest then switch to the next Bloodborne boss where it lost same with Elden ring

I know DoH is a tanky enemy, but only taking 300 damage from Hoarah Loux’s slam and getting smashed with Fire Giant’s plate is ridiculous
I thought all the health bars were just fused into one, but no, he really is just built different. I also just found out that Placi’s fire and beam attack is pure fire, thought it dealt some holy damage too.

But question - how is the damage/health normalized between games? Or does FromSoft use the same scale for every single one of their games?
You just port over their stats from the other game over to Elden Ring.
For example Gael has15k HP in DS3 and 44% Magic resistance, so in Elden Ring you give him 15K hp and 44% magic resistance just like in DS3. As for the damage calculation, you test it out in DS3, let's say Gael deals 500 strike damage per hit on a player with 0 defense, then that means Gael's base strike damage would be around 500 and that's what you give him in Elden Ring and then the ER bosses's defense will reduce that by what ever their def is.
From what I have seen
every game have different scaling or at least that the case for the soulsborne games and elden ring
Not sure about Sekiro because it's quite different from the other games
In general elden ring has a higher scaling than the other games because it is a longer game
That's why the bosses have high health and damage
In this channel the bosses are using their original scaling from their respective game
But other channels like chaos silver moon uses the same scaling for all the bosses to make for more even fights
If Elden beast went for more of those gold projectiles that come out of its back it would’ve been curtains for demon easily.

Sekiro: feathers touch poise damage, MASSIVE POISE AMOUNTS

Sekiro(the man) doesn’t have poise so no boss or enemy in sekiro does any poise damage at all. Meanwhile Sekiro himself does something like 20 or 40 poise damage a swing so they have crazy high poise
Ok, the monkey leader in Sekiro in the Elden Range
The craziest part was that Demon of Hatred was at a disadvantage the whole time, since Posture and Burn Status aren't things in Elden Ring.
He is the sole reason why i hestitate doing shura and mortal journey gauntlet

This demon is susceptible to most kinds of magic: rot, thunder, holy, gravity etc. I think Malenia's 2nd phase with an opening bloom can handle the demon.
It's funny that the Demon of Hatred and Radagon have almost unbreakable stances, so the two just exchange attacks at the same time, and simply don't react to the incoming blows.

Anything could take a Radahn meteor if you randomly gave it 100% fire resistance and 90% strike resistance.

@@chuongvulenguyen290 my man. The tarnished isnt a god. wolf is a god however .certain bosses like the divine dragon are immortal gods that cannot be killed without a mortal weapon. However, as demonstrated. the dragon has to be weakened before it can even me killed with a mortal weapon. thereby only a few were deemed worthy such as wolf himself. with elden ring. The only god the tarnished faces is the elden beast. excluding outer gods such as the greater will and the formless mother. these dont really pose a threat to the tarnished and the living beings individually in the lands between. The elden beast can be slain without any mortal weapons. it is also the only physical god in Elden ring.

Ah the Demon of Hatred, I really like him as a penultimate late game Boss
it was a shakeup from the classic Sekiro Enemy one has seen up to that point, he felt really imposing, the Music was spendid, the Story behind the confrontation meaningfull and the combat really kept you on your toes with very little irritation and inconsistency
When I began playing Elden Ring I started missing Sekiros Combat so badly...

Demon of Hatred is deffinitely comparable to outer gods,or at the very least their primary vessels. Dude put a Smackdown on Sekiro (in my playthrough at least ) that made Genichiro blush
Outer gods are out here burning entire worlds. I like sekiro but not even the divine dragon comes close to that. Vassels? Maybe.

I don't think it makes sense putting so different perspectives into a fight for 2 reasons:
1) The sekiro bosses are automatically super resistent to physical damage when some bosses's physical damage in Elden ring is higher than others' magical damage.
Hate to state the obvious but it's clear that lore wise Godfrey, Malekith and Radahn would just oblitarate everything in the lands of Sekiro.
2) Sekiro Bosses's stunlock can be interpreted as a normal stunlocks for the DS or ER bosses.

I think this really shows how much less damage Wolf does with regular attacks compared to other Soulsborne protagonists (though having it otherwise would make all the other Sekiro mechanics way less important)
