Hi there my dear UA-cam outdoor maniacs! Maybe the first in a new series about my gear. Let me introduce to You: The Trangia Triangle! One of my beloved used gear. I made this one in swedish, click on the subtitle button and you get it all in english. Hope you enjoy!
Great idea for you to start a playlist featuring gear you've used extensively and found to work exceptionally well, as you do such a fantastic job of documenting use in a natural setting. I have the Esbit version of this triangle stove. They're light, compact, simple and work great.
Hi Erik! Please make more reviews of your most loved gear that you especially like to use and are very pleased with! Thank you for this review! Spring season is such a promising and unique time of year in between the snowy cold winter and the all-green summer with mosquitoes and bugs and sunny long daylight-days! Wishing you all the very Best always!
Thanks. Have been watching for last 6 months or so. Have had enough interest to look up the Triangle stand. It has become quite dear, price and availability. I like simple sophisticated design.
Very cool my friend. Love the triangle stove. I'd like to see more gear reviews. I think it would help your. Channel 👍you do great videos nd love your editing . Thanks
I've been watching your videos well since a month. thanks for uploading good quality video. I paid attention to what gears you use. meanwhile, I found out that you use trangia products. a few days ago, I ordered trangia's alcohol stove and cookset and siltarp. thanks for kind explanation and hope you to keep uplaoding new videos. cheer up!
There's something so mesmerising about your films, I can't quite put my finger on it but as you say in your trailer film, you want the viewer to believe they are travelling with you. Let me tell you that you have achieved this. ⛺️
I've noticed that your Trangia burner burns with an orange flame. Isn't it supposed to have a mostly blue flame instead? Mine has that same issue with orange flames unless I add a bit of water to the spirit fuel...
"Spirit burner" I know what he means, but I love it. I wonder if this is the most literal translation? Fun regardless. I see that you use some sort of gas stove in most videos, or boil with wood. Do you use the alcohol stove often? I hear that it is good for low temperatures, but we don't have anything like the temperatures that you hike in regularly. Just curious.
Jag tyckte min slang fick en obehaglig böj på sig i triangeln så jag tog resolut och klippte upp ett av de små hålen i plåten vilket löste problemet. I experienced that my tube to the burner got an unpleasant bend where it exited from the steel plate. I solved it by cutting open one of the small holes.
Jag visste inte att det var Trangia som gjort den där Triangel. Vet du om den pallar för att elda med ved i? Jag har sett att du använder en Firebox till sånt.
Kovea foldable tripod is compact and sturdy 2kw gas stove, strong enough to hold and boil 6 liter pan. They also make gas cartriges that are 3 times(!) cheaper than Primus, with equal volume and same gas mixture (75% isobutane)
Here i am 57 years old & i’m pretty sure thats the first time i’ve ever heard someone speaking Swedish. ...Except for Ikea words, but i’m always sure i’m about to summon a demon when I pronounce those.
Hi Erik.....Could you please tell me what type of fuel you use in the trangia. It looks like you are using 90% or more ethanol. I think it is a bit safer to use then methanol

Erik, you have the same calm, measured delivery in Swedish as in English. Either language is fine by me but your English is always excellent.
Thanks. Have been watching for last 6 months or so. Have had enough interest to look up the Triangle stand. It has become quite dear, price and availability. I like simple sophisticated design.
Me to I like the base that folds flat . I have a fixed round base that will not nest

Hi Erik..Greeting from Indonesia Outdoor lovers..we saw this series and remind us of our own self gear ...we had in common...God Bless You

Nice :) Takk!

I like that wooden cup. Where can I get one? Great videos.
Not sure where the best place to buy them. I made this myself. I would search for 'kuksa' or 'träkåsa' and see what I would find.
Hey ! Says the Canadian
Must be very interesting because whe do get Tragia here, but the burner you used is hard to find.
Now sold at MEC
And canadianoutdoorequipment.com
whats the story of the wooden cup?

Maybe alcohol is only ethanol (drinkable), and spirit is most general term for technical uses.
I likes your video

Hey Erik, greetings from germany.
Can can you tell me, if you use the 0.5l safty bottle or is that the 1 liter bottle?
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching. It is the 0.5l bottle.
Erik
Do you find the Triangle difficult to assemble in winter with gloves on?
Yes it's very hard with gloves. In winter I prefer the standard trangia kitchen.

Hi Rolf. Yes it's mostly ethanol.
