Perhaps Hakka people can join with World Hakka Congress and Mainland
    and Taiwan Province Hakka dialect
    linguists to produce teaching materials
    videos, websites, books (grammar,
vocabulary, etc), articles, etc. as up to
now, there are mostly Hakka description
and analysis. On Mainland, dialect linguists publish in Fangyan(,Dialect)
    Magazine, of Chinese Dialect Assiciation
    and in Zhongguo, Yuwen, (Chinese
Language) Magazine. Both are in Beijing
    and have websites.
    Younger Hakka people could develop
digital products, like websites and videos, video games, more vlogs, films
both feature and documentary for teaching or just using, Hakka,
Other very important digital devices can
be portable translators with different Hakka sub dialects + English, Indonesian, Tetum, Portuguese, etc..
    Hope that these help.
    Good luck !!!
T shirts, greeting cards, plastic place mats, etc. + Hakka words, phrases, etc.
    in Hagfa/pinyim spelling, Chinese
    characters, English, etc.

Ooh 1st comment YAY! Once again another interesting video about Hakka. I noticed you pronounce hand as "su" but where I am from (East Malaysia) we say "xiu" instead. And oh yeah we say "ga lat dai" in reference to armpit, not sure if you have heard of it before? =)

    • @inmimisbowl
      @inmimisbowl  4 роки тому

Yes, some of my friends say “xiu” instead! And I do know about that way of saying armpit, but to me it always sounded more Cantonese. Thanks again for hanging out :)

Interesting video but your Hakka is different from what my family speaks. Now the older gen in my family have gone I have no one to practice my Hakka on or hear it spoken daily. My mom didn't teach me to speak Hakka but I can understand most of a conversation. However, if it's a different Hakka like yours, then harder to catch as only some words used are the same.
