    Really enjoying your tutorials! I attended piano instruction when I was a child (many, many years ago!) with a religious order. Scary and very strict! This is far more fun! Wish I'd had a teacher like you back then!

    Thanks for these lessons I've only been playing for a week and they have helped alot. Will you go over breathing techniques eventually?

    • @MelodicaWorld
      @MelodicaWorld  4 роки тому

      What breathing techniques do you mean? You can blow soft and loud, this is the most powerful technique

      @@MelodicaWorld I mean how to sustain your breath and round breathing stuff like that.

      @@cwdh6164 Like circular breathing? That's more of an advanced technique, so I won't be covering it in this series. Hopefully I'll make a video for this at some point. In the meantime, it never too early to start, so look for a tutorial on youtube, there's lots of them - that's how I learnt!

    Hi ! I would like to know how you record from above. I want to do tutorials for my students and I really like how you explain it.

    • @MelodicaWorld
      @MelodicaWorld  3 роки тому

      Hi! I use a second camera. Its a small inexpensive old one, because the quality isn't that important for a keyboard. I put it on a C stand, and it's placed above my head, above the table, every the melodica. I record on both cameras simultaneously, and then load them both into Premiere Pro. I sync them using the audio. So I have 2 channels of video playing at the same time. Then I create something called a 'mask', in the software, which removes everything around the melodica, leaving just the keyboard showing. So you're seeing 2 layers of video, with one layer using a mask. I hope this helps!
