- A very infant 2-month loft update that I'm quite proud of for the things I've scavenged since getting my solo apartment 🤍 From building the Floyd bed to lots of haggling on FB marketplace, the loft is starting to feel like a space of my own- a sort of haven and safe space that I get really excited to come home to. Hopefully this sparks some intentional space design ideas and please know that you never need the exact piece to recreate anything you might find interesting to you!

Please look into storing your records an alternative way. Laying them flat on top of each other can lead to them warping or getting damaged ❤️

@@iamwinklebottom Aww poor baby! I have them shelved. I saw the Movie Diner (1982) and Lawrence Schriever aka "Schreive" was fanatical about his records. It was the 1950's and he had three categories, Jazz, R & B and Rock & Roll. He went ballistic when his Wife Beth misfiled his records and when she said "It's Only Music!" Oh no she didn't.
you have some design classics, I like the USM-Haller with the turntable, I have a similar setup. Also with USM-Haller, but with a Braun Atelier turntable on the original Braun Atelier stand.
A Cassina LC 3 sofa by Le Corbusier would fit really well in your loft. You can customize it completely and not have it in classic black

I find it hard to accept that it takes time for things to turn out well, and sometimes a bit longer than expected. We just have to be patient and trust the process. Thank you for the gentle reminder!

I am so sorry, but as a barista, I can't help but note that you may not want to tap your portafilter after you tamp it, because it will break the compression and create channeling on your coffee extraction. :) Love your videos as always, everything in your apartment is so beautiful!

What you said about silence really hit me deeply. I love that idea of doing things in silence. I feel so distracted and lost all the time. I just set a goal for me to sit in silence during my car ride to work. I have to work up to that time cuz 25-30 minutes feels like a long time right now. Anyways, thank you for sharing your life with the world.

For that little nook space near your bathroom maybe move your bed there (idk how easy it'll be to move lol) so you have more privacy when guests come over ? This will also help with continuity of your working and living spaces (though achieving continuity is difficult in loft apartments). And plants would look amazing contrasting the red brick walls. the whole design of the loft, even all the furniture looks so good. The record player and Marshall amp speaker is a huge plus to me cuz i have the same setup as you lol. This loft is almost perfect. just need to add some plants.

I started watching your vlogs today after watching one a few months ago and all I can say is you're cute and i love the vibes you give off, so cutee.
I noticed that you mentioned potential pets in the future. keep in mind that air fresheners, wall plug-ins, diffusers, and essential oils are toxic to furbabies; especially cats for whom it can be quite serious. I got rid of all of it to keep mine safe. and no they don't have to lick it for it to affect them in some cases, just the exposure can be harmful.
