I love this makeover!! But can we please stop calling grahams professional woodworking projects that take days, sometimes more than a week, to prepare beforehand “diy”? Sure, technically he did it himself, but he (probably) spent a lot of money outfitting his workshop and has the vibe of a fourth generation woodworker
I don't think the same as you. I believe these videos show a great capacity for creativity and that when it comes to decorating a space, you don't necessarily need to consider only the furniture already designed and made by a company. Instead, you can create something based on your own needs. Later, you can decide whether it's better to do it yourself or go to a professional to design and/or build it. Greetings, Alexandra, from Uruguay. I hope to win a consultation with you!! 💖✨
@@angiegarin3690 Saludos desde Los Angeles! My childhood friend was from Uruguay and is now a highly trained woodworker whose workshop is just outside Montevideo!
Pie in the sky for most of us. Pros charged me $400 to weatherfit and rehang my wooden balcony door. They'd charge a couple of thou for Graham's creations.
Can we stop acting as if Graham isn’t a grown adult with enough agency to tell his colleagues “hey can we call my projects something else.” He’s not a child who needs protecting.
That divider has to be one of the most beautiful things graham has made, the rich tones and the curved shelves, also the placement with creating a box for the entryway, wow!
WAIT-- what can't Graham do??! That's probably the most beautiful entryway I've ever seen! AND it blends in seamlessly with the apartment like it was always there 🥲
I know we can’t stop talking about Graham every time, but how can we not? His execution of his builds always look so professional and cleeeeean. If I was a landlord, I’d ask to keep these installs bc they’re so good 🤣
Only if willing to purchase them as some are so gorgeous & upgrade these spaces and make them all so workable...these designs are a blended combination of Alexander's creative mind and Grahams ability to execute them with such precision...Wow ,another book soon; with plans to recreate these gorgeous creatively made solutions.
I’d love to hear from people who received a studio makeover, how living in such an upgraded space changed their self conception, improved their confidence, etc. it’s not just about the design, it’s an inner renovation as well!
@@nexustom5823 so sorry that's your POV, actually there's a difference between 'something new" that can fade with time and "something that's right" that continues to reward when creating a HOME rather than just a place to go at the end of the day.

It really warms my heart to see that you have gifted him the Aphrochic book! It is so refreshing to see a non-black designer supporting the work of black designers and gifting it to another non black person to appreciate! This is big, whether you know it or not.
Amazing is that Alexandra (and the team) seem to know the personalities of the people ... They seem, in their surprise, almost to recognize themselves on the decorated spaces. Very special.
Only 2 small things bothered: 1. Cramped bed space. If only you would give more space like 15inches in between bed and divider so he can tidy the bed linen from the other side. 2. Stickers on upper windows. You should put blind stickers only in lower windows and not covering all windows. So there's still a chance to see outside. Just my thoughts.
While I love the room divider (it's beautiful and so functional), you should have made the entryway narrower to allow space to walk between the room divider and the bed - easier to make the bed, and easier for a second person to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom without having to climb over the other person.
My guess is from the proportions of furniture in the space, (decorated) is the full 253 sq..ft. As always, well done team!!!❣️It's so cool!!! (what number of cool was that🤔?)😊
I'd believe it if the whole apartment was 253 sqft! I'm currently in a 400 sqft apartment which has a pretty large kitchen with peninsula, a living space that is similarly sized to this one, and a full bedroom with lots of walk-in storage. It all feels bigger than the number sounds!
WOW!! Hit this one out of the park!!! Graham is a gem, his ability to create such elegant and complicated pieces just amazes me. You and your team really work together to make a person's dream come true! WELL, DONE!!!
That entry way build is GENIUS. It completely transformed the space from being just, as he said, a random assortment of (cool) furniture strewn about the edges of a room to a home. Perfect additions to the furniture he already had. Those chairs are gorgeous. Wow. You really do have a knack for small spaces. And you are so attentive to what the person asks for.

I love this makeover! This is such a great example of why thrifting is so good! The pieces he already had work so well in the space! They're all unique and really show his personality! Well done!
Wow, this space turned out so beautifully. The entry is stunning -- can't imagine how much it would cost to hire someone to make that. And as always, AG has the very best space reveals on YT. Love that we see everything in detail and from so many angles. Chef's kiss to you and your whole team for this one!
What I most love about this particular redesign is in practice how few major things changed, meaning, how many of his original piece you kept in their original places. And yet, the changes you made were so impactful! It goes to show, you can be on the right track but still not quite have it all tied together. It takes that creative thought to take it up to that level. This is why you're the professionals!!!
I really love the first part of the makeovers where it's Alexandra and her "client" and they talk about their needs, and how it translates to the final room tour. So so so good!!!
Yesssss, if Alexandra wanted to work in another type of segments, she could have those kind of styling sessions with people preferably some of her viewers. The styling in space peace could be virtual like schematics, and if the peopyle choose to use those pieces they would then follow up with a photo op of how it was installed in their space. I'd watch the show!
This is one of the best makeovers I’ve ever seen on this channel. Period. I wish they’d wall mounted the TV so the frame really made it look like a framed painting. But this is 💯
The divider is way too big for the size of this room. Now 1/4 of the room is dedicated to just the entry and closes off the living space making everything seem much smaller.
that is so sweet... "what do I do now? Do I just live here?" awww. Yes! and beautifully and cozily. Another fab job, team AG! More lovely colours, creative DIYs and team shenanigans, and chef's kiss camera work.Thank you! Your makeovers make my Saturday, every time.

That entry way is gorgeous & I love the new chic hotel vibes. Also if Gokhan wanted, he could also put those diy ceiling curtain rail & have curtains to hide his bed. Team AG works its magic again! ❤
Agree, and maybe a fabric that would block daylight as the blinds did. Although the window coverings look beautiful he may not welcome early morning light.

And then you confirmed my original hunch. I’m happy for my colleague to have this lovely place to go home to. Well deserved. ❤
What a knockout! Stunning. Only thing I might change is shorten the entry divider so the bench is flush with the door, thus giving a little wiggle room for the bed. But it is perfect either way. Come to think of it what do I know. LOL
Alexandra you knocked this one out of the ball park in everyway! I love the entry build. I sent the still life photo from IG to do many friends yesterday but today I can tell them about this video. My BF has the same type of space so I want him to see this video but my BF kitchen is literally foot room 3X3 to walk in. Smallest kitchen I have ever been in. The back of his fridge is in his hall closet but the fridge front is in the kitchen. Looks like your client's personal make over (haircut) is amazing as well but, I thought he was nice looking with his longer hair too. His personality shines!

Wow, loved, loved, loved the creation of that entrance way! Stunning makeover with just a coat of off-white paint on the walls. Alexander and her talented team just get better and better ❤
The chairs in sofa actually fills up the room more and makes it fuller. Love the Article bench. Love the entryway which also divides and hides the bed. That floor lamp was cute which gave off a nice warmth to the room. Thumbs up on the window treatment. Semi privacy but still allowing sunlight in. Very creative small apartment makeovers. ❤
The makeovers lately have been so beautiful! I wish Gokhan had more room to stretch out his legs in bed or have his feet dangle over! Also, this sort of bed set-up will mean someone will always need to be disturbed if two people are sleeping in bed.
Agreed, my only note on this incredible makeover is that the entryway could easily have been designed a little narrower to give more space at the end of the bed. It would also help with putting the sheets on
I loved this episode! Not many jokes like the last one and a lot of good work. Everything was well Balanced. Absolutely loved the entry! Stunning. You are genius!!
“ANOTHER” amazing makeover. The entry divider/ storage was beautiful and so creative. I can’t believe how the “bedroom” was truly separate. The placement of everything, the filming wall, privacy film on the window, the two rust chairs that help define the living room….wow everything was intentional and yes, “ a cool person lives here”. 🥰
I love the scene at the beginning where Graham is on the floor by the bed. When I was in high school after we cleaned the house, I wood hide on the floor behind my bed to take a nap.
This makeover is unreal! I mean, on another level! I had to watch his reaction a few times, cuz that was my reaction!!! "like, WHAT!!" I would have been jumping up and down and crying!!
Glad I found you again. Your style has refined andmatured. I love the height that you built with that coffee table. Luxe drama in a small space is always a win. Keep up the good work!

@@AlexandraGater oh, I’m immensely enjoying the makeover! Studio Fix is my all-time favorite and y’all just seem to have so much fun throughout the process.
The entry is my favorite project you’ve ever done. Filing this away to use somewhere. It’s just too good.
I love everything about these videos, genuinely the highlight of my Saturdays. The editing never fails to make me bust out laughing and this space is so so beautiful
Will watch it many times as it's absolutely Beautiful and it's a dreamy space but once again.❤
Wow, loved, loved, loved the creation of that entrance way! Stunning makeover with just a coat of off-white paint on the walls. Alexander and her talented team just get better and better ❤
The girl is talented. I love the look of surprise and happiness she gets when her idea works.
Gokhan is such a delightful human being
So chic! So luxe! That entry way is perfection! Another studio fix winner! ❤❤❤❤❤
It would also help with putting the sheets on
had the same thought. plus, i wonder if they could've had flipped the bed, making it acessible from both sides and adding the side tables.
@@a.chataigniergood idea!
I loved this episode! Not many jokes like the last one and a lot of good work. Everything was well
Balanced. Absolutely loved the entry! Stunning. You are genius!!
Everything is beyond amazing! But the artwork for the Frame TV Alexandra chose is BEYOND!😂 I love her!✨
“ANOTHER” amazing makeover.
My mind is still blown by that divider. Jaw dropping stunning it is in my top 3 favorite things y'all have ever done. 🎉❤
Glad I found you again. Your style has refined andmatured. I love the height that you built with that coffee table. Luxe drama in a small space is always a win. Keep up the good work!
That room divider is unreal. What an amazing change to the space
Stunning!!! Love the colours, the warmth, the coziness. The entry partition is gorgeous. Perfect way to delineate the spaces.
Finally a man. The entry is to die for.
This is one of my favorite studio makeovers. The vibe feels refined yet still super cozy. The entryway was a game changer!
Alexandra, you and your team have outdone yourselves on this one. The whole thing is amazing, and it really does seem to fit his cool and fun personality while still looking like an adult's home. I say this every week, but this is one of my favorite makeovers. Also, we all need a Graham in our lives who is so creative and artistic.
Wow, such an amazing makeover! I thin that this is my favourite AG yet!!
Graham is a master at building one-of-a-kind pieces. That entry construct is stunning. Love the furniture choices definitely matches his design vibe. Window treatment perfect! The art pieces bring in the perfect color contrast. Congrats team! Amazing.
Alexandra, once again and always you've created a gorgeous room. Absolutely stunning✨ You and your crew are a delight to watch and Graham is such a miracle worker, keep him always. All of you be healthy and stay safe!!! Peace and Love ☮️❤️ from sunny 🌅 Greece 🏖️🇬🇷
the best treat - AG and my mid-morning coffee 💞☕️
Love, love, love this makeover! Especially the entrance with the bed tucked behind it❤
Alexandra is the greatest! So GENEROUS to GIVE these away. Love how she tunes into each client. The entryway is brilliant and effective! Window dressing fabulous, just what he wanted. Great job by the whole team! ❤
Maybe one day she'll do room makeovers in regular sized houses, too . . .
Oh. My. God!!! I LOVE this vestibule you guys created. It's gorgeous and SO functional!! A buffer between the entryway and the living area is so key and gets overlooked even in a regular sized houses. Love it.
