I enjoy seeing European design so much, it is such a refreshing break from American design (which I also love but I think can be too copy cat--too much modern farmhouse---ugh--) My family just moved into a smaller house and we are having fun decorating it with a simpler style than we had in our previous house, with a mix of modern and vintage, including sentimental pieces from our childhood homes, and this was very inspiring. Thank you so much, I look forward to seeing other videos you are doing.

In general, I think there is a lot of confusion around the label 'Scandi' and thousands of people have their own ideas what the characteristics of the style are... I also wouldn't think that minimalism could be seen as typical but some kind of purity in style?

Wunderschön! Die Eigentümer haben nicht zufällig verraten, wo sie die Vorhänge & Stangen dazu gekauft haben? Bei IKEA gibt's nur noch welche aus Plastik 😅
I generally don't like when old homes are too modernized but from the sounds of it the old unit was in a bit of disrepair and this seems like a happy mix of both the old world details and a more modern finishings. One criticism though, the office/guest room seems like it could to be reorganized, at least to my eye. Having your back to the door seems a waste, especially since it's crammed into a corner farthest from the window. Maybe place the shelving opposite the window and move the desk farther in to enjoy some of the light and fresh air. But again, just an opinion.
