I been so back and forth on doing the VW LCD digital active display retrofit in my Tiguan. Been thinking of doing that with one of the 2022 10” head unit screens to match the ultra hd crispness of the lcd gauge display, but keep worrying it’s going to either look out of place in a 2014, or like you were talking about, worried about lag. Your video helped a lot and really liking how yours looks.
This daily project has been so awesome to follow man 🙌🏼 perfect, classy OEM+ style 😎 can’t wait to see what’s next, I just wish you had more time with the x5 since the “modding luxury performance suv” videos/builds are so hard to find 😩😂

Change the centre console idrive controller to the CIC controller seeing that its using CIC not CCC and then paint your brakes yellow and then bata bing bata bang!

the point isn’t power it’s supposed to be a reliable daily driver plus the transmission would have to be swapped because the GM would blow up with N54 power

I want this mod so bad but a digital cluster is literally 1000 dollars. And the head unit is def not worth 1000. it’s cool asf but it’s such simple product to manufacture that nothing justifies paying a 1000.

I check out the cluster at Id4, did you buy any of their themes, or are the ones shown in the video the standard/stock themes? i find them quite expensive and a dealbreaker

Sick build!! The only thing that i can complain about this is that the lip spoiler is too aggressive for the beautiful lines of the e92, m-performance lip is just perfect IMO!
The cluster still is for me a gimmick, still prefer to modify the cluster face color/design over this one... other than that, perfect build man, keep it going 🙌💪
