- What a journey haha, not going to lie I didn't think I would ever come this far on this build especially in just 2 year, and I say just 2 years because a build like this truly tests your love for cars haha. But after seeing it come together, it is truly the best thing I have ever owned. From having no lights on the car, to getting is state legal, to modifying heck out of it, it is truly a car enthusiast car. For those of you guys who have been following this journey the past 2 years on UA-cam here with me, sorry I started to lag on it in the 2nd year, its one of those things were it started with a lot of passion, then lost it completely, then thankfully its back. Still planning to throw on my ess supercharger once bearings are done and getting the car painted, but hey we all know the saying, a real build is never finished :).......................... After all that work that beauty deserved to be painted.
It’s still unfinished and will be painted, proper paint jobs are 10k+. Not trying to slap on a cheap paint job haha

The crazy part is the carb portion. That is an actual pain in Cali and props for going through the effort to do it right!

Man well done this made me see there’s so much more then just swapping a motor and rear sub. It’s crazy the wiring that you went into. The making sure the apple car play works. The trunk wiring. Like every little thing I would’ve never guessed had to be done. Great job 🙌🏻

The original wagon was a 4wd. Did you keep it with the m3 engine? Is this even doable?

Crazy amount of work!!!! 👏👏So what was the actual point to swap front end from 2008 M3?? To get M3 VIN? But it’s not wagon anyways. Just saying I’d rather keep body frame intact even with 328 VIN. Or you’re saying m3 e92 front end is actually different physically?
I recall doing same thing with e36 m3 and we swapped front end from 318 due to accident and I can tell that body is 100% the same as regular 318, everything fit perfectly just like in your video. But I’d rather keep intact body even with 328 VIN. Sorry but I lived in Cali and I know how body shops work there and I have doubts they welded it properly (it’s impossible to do it similar to factory specs)

Well done great job. Just wondering why you never just repaired the M5 . It looked to have less damage. And think you should have painted the chassis while stripped. But good job anyway. 👍

I mean, he wants to build an M3 wagon but I totally get you. That was my first thought. Based on what I could see, the M3's damage seemed minimal.
