I'm an ex-service advisor, shop foreman, and service manager for BMW so I would like to mention a few things: 1. You skipped out on the PAW N55 for the E92/E90 which has less issues but makes less bolt on power. With a tune 350whp is common and a Pure Stage 1 turbo is 400whp all day without wastegate issues (assuming you fix the vacuum lines). 2. The S65 has rod bearing issues that are more due to the owners than the car. Change your oil, let it warm up, and change you spark plugs every 30k. This will pretty much avoid the issue (194k on my last one when I sold it). Throttle body actuators, evaporator cores leak on early ones, and prepare to spend a lot in fuel. 3. The 335is is a monster. It's a 1M/Z4 35is Sdrive tuned car with the same clutch as both (and the 550i) if you get a manual OR a DCT automatic that's bonkers too. It's a bit tricker to tune but MAN it's fun! 4. Pay for someone to install your N54 downpipes. It's not worth the PTSD nightmares, TRUST ME! From a B5 S4, 300Z TT, and a STS-V this job is one of the worst. 5. FCP Euro! Lifetime warranty on all their parts! You pay shipping, you get a new part! 6. The electric water pumps...they just suck. Stick to the OEM plastic propeller ones, the metal ones kill engines when they go. 7. Valve Cover Gaskets, Oil Filter Housing Gasket, and Oil Pan Gasket... all these will leak so find a car that has them done. VCGs will dip on the exhaust and smoke you out. OFHGs leak onto your belts and throw them off destroking your front main seal and getting in your engine. Not fun. Oil Pan... well you lose oil quick and your aero panels will be coated in gunk. It's a pan to do this one. 8. Only the M cars have a factory LSD. 9. These are great cars if treated correctly. Remember, they are 40k-60k cars new, their parts and labor is going to be expensive. If you are a DIYer then they will make you a good technician. 10. Remember to enjoy your car!
Very good info. Allow me to add the list of what happened to mine. 2006 330i Sport, so it was just an N52 motor, not the N54. 1) Cracked head bolt at 95K, causing massive oil leak. Bad metallurgy or bad factory torque. 2) Three cracked bolts on the oil pan, causing another leak. Big $$ labor cost due to all the stuff they needed to remove. 3) Minor valve cover leaks, very common on every German car I've owned. Problem is, it gets on the exhaust manifold and you can smell it every time you open the door. 4) Three failed ignition coils at 100K 5) Failed AC compressor at 120K 6) Failed headlight aiming motors at 95K 7) Worn-out suspension "thrust bushings" at 100K 8) Worn-out guibo on the driveshaft at 110K 9) Massive interior water leak caused by clogged sunroof drain hoses. 10) Shocks became too soft by 95K miles 12) Cupholder stuck inside the dash and wouldn't pop out anymore, lol. 13) Rear power sunshade got stuck. Other than that....fairly reliable I guess. Surprisingly good highway mileage due to the tall 6th gear. Great seats with the Sport package. Just make sure to ditch the crappy run-flat tires because they ride like shit.

MMP do a set of 1000hp twin turbos, but I feel like that much torque through that wide of a power band is just a blown engine waiting to happen (if you could even get the car off the line without drag slicks on a prepped surface).

Yes...the e90's look great still. Most importantly, they drive SO MUCH BETTER than ALL of the platforms after it. The newer 3 series FEEL NUMB compared to the e90s. Go test drive one and you'll realize it IMMEDIATELY. I'd rather keep an e90/N54 and have a much more fun car to drive and fix a fuel pump or water pump every 2yrs than pay the premium and take the depreciation hit of getting a new one.
I just began my 16th year of owning my 2007 E92 328i and have around 145,000 miles on it. It feels special every time I start it up. I maintain the car very well and have loved it since day one of ownership. The perfect steering feel and the silky smooth non-turbo inline six cylinder engine are simply not available in current 3 series BMWs. There is no “infotainment system “ on this car; the entertainment is in the driving.
Classic styling, manual, inline 6, RWD - a future classic. If you're scared of maintenance issues, gets the naturally aspirated N52, change to shorter diff, and enjoy the purity.
I love my 2013 e92 335xi n55!Even though I’ve had most of the common issues - valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, water pump and a cracked coolant reservoir. Fixed it myself and saved tons. Upgraded the inter cooler, charge pipe, intake, brakes, wheels and tires. Added a stage 1 tune and kept the stock exhaust and suspension. The E9X M3 is my favorite car is own. The exhaust note is intoxicating and the bodystyle is timeless. Engine is pretty bulletproof too once the rod bearings and throttle actuators are done
I think the E92 is the greatest bimmer EVER made. When you consider price, style, power and handling, there has never been a car that balances all of them like the E92. And I like the 335i MUCH better than the M3. Who needs a gas guzzling V8, when you can build the N54 to 1000whp??? The E92 335i is the perfect blend of style, sport and luxury; power and comfort. Its look is classic and timeless. I don't think I've ever loved a car as much as this one, and I've owned Porsche's, Alpha's, several American Muscle Cars and six other BMW's. There's nothing like the N54 E92...
I remember my father had an manual 06 330i E90 and that thing was bonkers for an NA car. Autobahn at 160 miles per no problem, track days no problems, slides around town no problem. The 3 series is the ultimate driving machine. Power wise, 260 at wheels is meh nowdays but it handled it's weight well. It was the first car I properly wrenched on and learned to drive. I keep BMW close to my heart and E90s are top of the list for me
OMG It finally happened! The Gods looked down upon us and smilled, the stars aligned, and Fi finally came through and delivered. Fulfilling the simple prayer of a common man, Long Live the E92!
Things to look out for and ask 1) Valve cover leak 2) oil filter housing gasket leak 3) oil pan leak 4) electric water pump and thermostat 5) vanos solenoid 6) disa valves 7) shocks and struts 8) spark plugs and ignition coils 9) brake pads and rotors 10) transmission flush and filter change. N51 and n52
Im looking at an automatic 99k mile 2013 330d e92. Is it a problematic car compared to the petrols? Should i look out for the same issues on an m57 diesel?
I have a 09 E92 328 and I love it. A little less power, but luckily you cut out some of the other reliability problems and it is still quick and fun to drive
You have to be rich to run one, especially tuned. They have ALOT of failures that the engineers failed to catch. The big one is how the timing chain system is not keyed and is held in place by compression/torque only. Start adding alot of power and the timing slips. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
i make 420whp all day 210k miles drive it all the time road trips everything. u address the like 4 things that ever break in a 335 and never have to mess with anything. im runnng 20psi on stock turbos no issues. anyone talking about how unreliable it is doesnt know what they are talking about. u take care of the car it will take care of you.
@@diegomahishmaha9024 ...well in a 335 you only have a issue with the crank hub with upwards of 1000 hp. the new s55 on the other hand has more issues with it. even still its a easy fix.
One year of owner ship of an e92 335i -replaced broken control arms -replaced worn engine mounts -replaced oil pan gasket and level sensor -replaced injectors -replaced exhaust gaskets -replaced high pressure fuel pump -replaced wheel bearing -replaced tmap sensor -replaced leaky radiator -upgraded blown suspension -changed plugs -upgrade sway bar, pr coils, inlets, outlets, down pipes, intake, intercooler, cp, bov, and add forged wheels +100tw tires Truly a fun car to maintain. If you have your own tools.
Weird my n54 335i has 100k miles, I got it back in 2009 when it came out so I’m the only owner, I changed everything that gives problems such as the water pump, changed all the seals, did an engine out service new fuel pumps etc etc, it’s currently on docracing 6266 single turbo and I’ve never had down time with the car
I had a 2008 e92 335xi and loved the car so much. 2 years later I sold it to my brother and got a 2013 e92 comp m3. Supercharged it and e92’s are my favorite. Highly recommend either the 335 or m3. Just whatever fits your style. Both if you can afford it ;)
Im one of the few here with the N52 baby.... Still tweek it a bit slap a catless header and a decent muffler with ESR SR01s and a cup kit you got yourself the last inline 6 of BMW there that screams
As long as preventative maintenance is done - the N54 is such a solid platform. Gets a bad rep when owners neglect their engines and just want power straight away. Pay to play!
An E9X 328i, 2011 or older with the N52 motor isnt the most powerful but holy crap is that motor bullet proof. 133k miles and most I ever had to do besides maintenance was replace the radiator once. I didnt modify it, but I drove it hard. 115mph was a cruising speed, always doing pulls, I abused it and it had no issues. Great car for so many reasons, and I highly recommend it.
@bertelsenmedia2nd394 should be very similar, yeah. Same motor, just different power levels. The one I had was a SULEV, the 325i and 330i were both only ULEV. I don't know enough about those to make any claims about them.
i drive a 2007 bmw e92 328i (my first car). it hs 164,000 miles or there abouts..... and it runs absolutely perfect even with the stuff ive done to it (mostly lots of exhaust and the sort). for my first car the e92 328 has been absolutely incredible and i cant wait to upgrade to a 335
So blessed to have gotten a 2011 e92 335i as my first car this past year! Absolutely love driving and I can’t wait to save up enough money to fully purchase the car and have it in my own name so I can really start modding it🙏🏾👌🏾🔥😆
Kostas Zanos And I absolutely love driving it and from the research I’ve done their definitely not to hard to make decent power on but be careful cuz if you don’t maintain it it’ll end up just being an expensive nightmare
I swear yall better not lose this man and whoever said the edits on his videos. I will eat yalls face. But maintenance is the main reason BMWs get overlooked. Majority that mod them dont have the thousands to spend on maintenance(or they do but dont feel like it because they'd rather buy a sweet set of 19x10.5s instead of the water pump they needed).
I am luckily to have on of the rarest E92s. A java green e92 with right hand drive from 2012. Apparently only around 20 were built, and I have only seen another one, a convertible, which is probably even rarer! I absolutely love it and with that V8 engine is so good
My N54 has been fairly reliable in the year and a half I owned it. I’ve put 40k on it in the past year and has 160k now. Stage 2+ tune and running strong. Hoping to go upgraded twins next
The n54 is the new 2jz. Get one and keep it mint and in 10 years you will be laughing. Also in the UK we had a 335d that on a stage 2 can make 800lbs of torque 😎
The n54 high pressure fuel pump has been fixed since 2015, the ecu firmware was updated to prime the low pressure fuel pump on unlock instead of accessory on. It was found the low pressure fuel regulator, that was made of plastic would leak sitting pressure after an hour. Causing dry starting of the high pressure fuel pump. You should change the driver side top hat along with the high pressure fuel pump and take it to BMW to ensure the ecu firmware is updated
Speedier when I first bought the car I had to replace the radiator. I’ve owned the car three years now and driven 40k miles. I had to replace the starter but other than that it’s been only oil changes and routine stuff and I’m at 185k miles. I love these cars, after 3 years I still look back and smile every time I park 😬
Call me ignorant but my dad has owned an e90 since 2008 and the car has been amazing for him. The usual things that you expect will need to be replaced but other than that the car is pretty reliable. If you maintain it and keep it in a heated garage than it will last. Doing the maintenance yourself can also save you a ton of money.
Bought an e90 N54 335xi manual for 9k CDN. Spent a year and 14k building it with full bolt ons, new turbos, replacing all gaskets and every known issue. It has been broken more than it has run but its finally finished and it is the love of my life. Manual AWD 500hp rocket. Cant find anything else like it for the price.
Top 6 things about the BMW E90-E93 generation : 1.The classic styling 2. The sweet inline 6, in naturally aspirated or turbo forms. 3. The way it corners beautifully - 50/50 weight distribution. 4. Quality paint and interiors 5. Real steering feel. 6. Large enthusiast community.
As a e92 n54 owner I can tell you that the maintenance ain’t no joke especially if you don’t work on your own car. But I can also say it is the most fun, rewarding, responsive, underrated car out there The engine is basically bulletproof In my experience….everything else around it is the problem but I still don’t regret my purchase …except when something breaks 😂
I got a 325i with M-Packet... Helll boy i dreamed about that car when it was released and last Year i finally got one... The best thing i would love to point out is, that even when it's basically 14 years old car, it still looks great in "modern" times. It's strong and wild, but also feels mature and calm... Only disadvantage i can tell by now is, that on "not so good roads" it feels really unconfortable... And since i am from czech republic where lot of roads are not in perfect shape, its kinda frustrating. But anyway... Great car.. I can only recommend it to everyone.
I've an 08 335i. It's been a dream to mod, hella easy to tune with your phone. All for very little money. Diy community has done everything so tuns of resources to follow. Glad i bought it
Driving a 07 E92 328i for 8 years now. And I still love it. Its a daily drive and here in the Netherlands its just to damn expensive to own a 335i or M3 as a daily drive. Also the insurance wants your organs or something to insure you.. so yeah 😁
N54 owner Had a salvaged title, but is my favorite car owned to this day. Bought at 72.5k, not too many issues ;cracked rims (had M3 rims , la potholes make it fun), radiator gave out at about 78k, coolant issues, spark plugs replaced, coils replaced cuz misfire, faulty fuel injector replaced (previously replaced at 70k, suspension issues shocks and struts needed replacing) Take care of these cars and it will take care of you
I have a 335i N54 with 6 speed manual and it is not only the nicest car I’ve ever owned but the best driving car I’ve ever been in by far. It has the features, comfort, and fit and finish of a fine German GT, yet handles the road like an Olympic figure skater on ice, biting into the corners and accelerating out of them with poise and a grin. 12 years down the road all the big maintenance items have been done and now it’s just regular maintenance stuff, maybe 1K a year if that. I couldn’t be happier and I love it even more now that I have a set of wheels and tires from FI: the AodHan AH-X 18x9.5 in hyper black.

What about the 335d? Is it also as good as the 335i?
I’ve never clicked so fast, I’ve needed this episode!!!!!!
This is so true.
Been waiting forever!
🤮 money dumpster
I remember my father had an manual 06 330i E90 and that thing was bonkers for an NA car. Autobahn at 160 miles per no problem, track days no problems, slides around town no problem. The 3 series is the ultimate driving machine. Power wise, 260 at wheels is meh nowdays but it handled it's weight well. It was the first car I properly wrenched on and learned to drive. I keep BMW close to my heart and E90s are top of the list for me
No joke i was just searching for this car and then this popped out. Yall know too much bout me
Currently own a E90, while saving for an E92 M3. The best generation of BMW
Currently own an e90 328i and my obtainable dream car is a e92 m3.
N52 reliable almost never in the shop gang. 🔥
I'm with u on that one
Yeah, I had a 325 before I got the 335. More reliable? Yes. Boring? Yes. You wanna play, you gotta pay!
Yep but when something big comes up once in a while its expensive its true you’ll almost never see a shop though
same :)
OMG It finally happened! The Gods looked down upon us and smilled, the stars aligned, and Fi finally came through and delivered. Fulfilling the simple prayer of a common man, Long Live the E92!
Things to look out for and ask
1) Valve cover leak
2) oil filter housing gasket leak
3) oil pan leak
4) electric water pump and thermostat
5) vanos solenoid
6) disa valves
7) shocks and struts
8) spark plugs and ignition coils
9) brake pads and rotors
10) transmission flush and filter change.
I like plenty of cars but the E46 M3 & E92 M3s are my dream cars. I really hope I can afford one someday
Finally!🥳
The e90 is easily the most modern looking 15 year old car interior and exterior wise.
So true .... Looking to get one as I am not so keen on the f30s as they look boring, even though their performance trumps the E90 series
Are we going to talk about the fact that these look timeless? I have a 2009 and people always think its less than 5 years old.
The pre lci sedans are starting to look a little dated
@@spicysnowman8886 true, I have the lci with all the m body parts which is probably why
@@NinjasDTA yeah I have a pre lci 328i sedan and it definitely doesn't look new anymore, at least it's a manual though.
Day 19 of asking FI for a "So you want a Geo Metro" video.
Why would anyone want that lmao
@@Christian--- K Swap
I'd drive one.
Yes
You did day 18 twice...
All I hear from 335i owners is how they can get 400hp with just a tune, and then something breaks but they never talk about that
You have to be rich to run one, especially tuned.
@Oreo Cat lol better use the right oil.....if v8. if s55... basically mostly the same as n54
FU
Love my e90 fbo n54, sexy, fun, easy to mod, and not near as horrible to maintain as people claim. Need a 6mt e92 n54 for a backup car.
i have an E93 n54. Part costs don’t kill you, labor costs do! THESE CARS ARE EXPENSIVE TO KEEP ALIVE
Definitely my favourite M3 (after E30). The 335i are so popular and cheap in South Africa. Can't wait to upgrade from the 320d to the 335i.
One year of owner ship of an e92 335i
-replaced broken control arms
-replaced worn engine mounts
-replaced oil pan gasket and level sensor
-replaced injectors
-replaced exhaust gaskets
-replaced high pressure fuel pump
-replaced wheel bearing
-replaced tmap sensor
-replaced leaky radiator
-upgraded blown suspension
-changed plugs
-upgrade sway bar, pr coils, inlets, outlets, down pipes, intake, intercooler, cp, bov, and add forged wheels +100tw tires
Truly a fun car to maintain. If you have your own tools.
My E92 is so unreliable 😭😭 but I don’t care it’s an E92 😁😁 it still looks good when it breaks down 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
😂 felt that way when I first got mine what problems are you running into
Shit so is my e46 blew my motor 2 weeks ago
Once you go bmw you don’t go back.
Focus on maintenance and you’ll avoid those problems before they even occur lol duhhh
I had a 2008 e92 335xi and loved the car so much. 2 years later I sold it to my brother and got a 2013 e92 comp m3. Supercharged it and e92’s are my favorite. Highly recommend either the 335 or m3. Just whatever fits your style. Both if you can afford it ;)
One of the best engines ever made
I hope your talking about that n54 🤣 -335 fanboy
When it's not leaking or throwing codes lmao
I hope your talking about the s65 -m3 fanboy
Everywhere I go, I see his face
You say that until you have to spend 1500 for a set of brand new injectors
I own an e90 and it’s just beautiful and timeless!
The body lines are just perfect!
Being a N54 e92 owner this makes me laugh and cry in the inside 😂 great video nothing but facts stated
so true..
"we're talking about you wanting to own an e90 to e92, bmw" *cries in e93*
E93 gang 💪🏼😂
Love my ESS 650 supercharged E93 with the top down gets the girls. The E92 gets the dudes. 🤔🤫
Im one of the few here with the N52 baby.... Still tweek it a bit slap a catless header and a decent muffler with ESR SR01s and a cup kit you got yourself the last inline 6 of BMW there that screams
I've put 180k on mine. Still love it.
Yes I have a manual e90 n52 and it’s a pretty good daily at 180k miles
just got a n52 e92 this weekend with only 60k miles. love it so far, next comes maintenance than mods.
As long as preventative maintenance is done - the N54 is such a solid platform. Gets a bad rep when owners neglect their engines and just want power straight away.
Pay to play!
Pay to play baby im legit sitt8ng in a shop getting a FMIC and m3 control arms in now
An E9X 328i, 2011 or older with the N52 motor isnt the most powerful but holy crap is that motor bullet proof. 133k miles and most I ever had to do besides maintenance was replace the radiator once. I didnt modify it, but I drove it hard. 115mph was a cruising speed, always doing pulls, I abused it and it had no issues. Great car for so many reasons, and I highly recommend it.
Should be the same for the 325i
@bertelsenmedia2nd394 should be very similar, yeah. Same motor, just different power levels. The one I had was a SULEV, the 325i and 330i were both only ULEV. I don't know enough about those to make any claims about them.
Ordered coilovers 8 days ago, but they’re still in process. I just need an update😩😩. Thanks for the free lowered shirt, it looks awesome. 💯
Shoulda bout off redline360
Jose Birrueta 😩
Lmao right when I’m saving up for one
i drive a 2007 bmw e92 328i (my first car). it hs 164,000 miles or there abouts..... and it runs absolutely perfect even with the stuff ive done to it (mostly lots of exhaust and the sort). for my first car the e92 328 has been absolutely incredible and i cant wait to upgrade to a 335
LOOOL "grab yur HPFP" just about died 😭
Had a 2008 335i it was fast when it worked and expensive when it didn't. I called her 2K cause that was about everytime it went to the shop.
So blessed to have gotten a 2011 e92 335i as my first car this past year! Absolutely love driving and I can’t wait to save up enough money to fully purchase the car and have it in my own name so I can really start modding it🙏🏾👌🏾🔥😆
Bro we are in the same boat. 2013 e92 335i 6mt. Gotta pay like 5/12 off still then here come the mods
How is your experience with it? I'm looking to buy one as my first car as well!
Kostas Zanos it was around $14,000 with 80,000 miles on it
Kostas Zanos And I absolutely love driving it and from the research I’ve done their definitely not to hard to make decent power on but be careful cuz if you don’t maintain it it’ll end up just being an expensive nightmare
how many times has it broken down since u bought it lol
I swear yall better not lose this man and whoever said the edits on his videos. I will eat yalls face.
But maintenance is the main reason BMWs get overlooked. Majority that mod them dont have the thousands to spend on maintenance(or they do but dont feel like it because they'd rather buy a sweet set of 19x10.5s instead of the water pump they needed).
I am luckily to have on of the rarest E92s. A java green e92 with right hand drive from 2012. Apparently only around 20 were built, and I have only seen another one, a convertible, which is probably even rarer!
I absolutely love it and with that V8 engine is so good
Finally, I get to rewatch a So You Want after I bought a car mentioned!
E92s > Still love the body style and would take one over an F chassis car. Cannot beat the hydraulic steering feel as well.
G Gill Over here in Europe, many E92 & E93 models (even the lower power versions) came with electric power steering 🤔
As far as I know, my 2006 had electric steering
I’m in Canada
The 08 E92 M3 is a Beast i love love this car
My N54 has been fairly reliable in the year and a half I owned it. I’ve put 40k on it in the past year and has 160k now. Stage 2+ tune and running strong. Hoping to go upgraded twins next
what do you do to keep it running good?
@@anointingosuiwu I’ve beat the piss out of it every time I drive it lol. It now has wastegate rattle but I can’t complain. Almost has 190k on it now
@@nuhnuh61 i saw a good deal on one with 142k miles on it. will you recommend i get it with such high mileage?
@@anointingosuiwu it all depends on how the previous owner treated it. But if the price is right and you can afford to fix things then I’d say do it
@@nuhnuh61 is 17,590 on a 2011 328i w/ 46k miles a good deal ?
I still have fond memories of my old e92, it was great 180k miles and she saved my life few times.
The n54 is the new 2jz. Get one and keep it mint and in 10 years you will be laughing. Also in the UK we had a 335d that on a stage 2 can make 800lbs of torque 😎
I’m pretty mechanically inclined, this is my favorite car I have yet to own, hearing all this talk about working on them is pretty intimidating
i agree
Love these cars, timeless design compared to almost everything else from that era
I own the n55 335i and I love that engine 😬 180k miles on it and still just doing routine maintenance.
Do you have any issues with it? I’m thinking of getting one
@@match6389 I drove my friend's E92 335i, it was so nice. The steering is surprisingly heavy lol
Speedier I love how heavy the steering is. The car is tons of fun
@@match6389 Yea I like heavy steering, I was just shocked that a car that small has super heavy steering. BMWs are masters with steering tho
Currently own an 07 e92 335i. And a 11 e90 335i. One n54, one n55. Love them both. Currently rebuilding the N54 and its been fun.
Love my e92, a very unique car considering you don’t really see them a lot (at least where I live). A proud 335i owner 🤙🏽
FINALLY! I’ve been begging for this!
just picked up an 09 E92. loving it

Top 6 things about the BMW E90-E93 generation :
1.The classic styling
2. The sweet inline 6, in naturally aspirated or turbo forms.
3. The way it corners beautifully - 50/50 weight distribution.
4. Quality paint and interiors
5. Real steering feel.
6. Large enthusiast community.
I just recently bought a E92 M3 and I’m loving that car amazing car
Don’t make them love these cars bro the pricing rn Is love 😂
As a e92 n54 owner I can tell you that the maintenance ain’t no joke especially if you don’t work on your own car. But I can also say it is the most fun, rewarding, responsive, underrated car out there
The engine is basically bulletproof In my experience….everything else around it is the problem but I still don’t regret my purchase
…except when something breaks 😂
I'm about to purchase one but the maintance cost is quite scary.
You forgot to mention the rod bearings on the M3 🙂 you are in for a treat on that bill 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
I miss my M3 so much. Best car I've ever driven, beautiful sound, direct handling, outstanding looks. I will own another one day.
I like how no one talks about the n52 engine that come with the e92 also. :)
IK, funny because they're a lot more reliable too, a lot of the expenses he talks about here aren't really prevalent in them
I still floor it all the time in my n52 might not be fast but still fun
I have a tuned 3L twin turbo E92, goes hard. 265 tyres can’t get any grip.
But no matter what you do it’ll have issues.

The fact that yall didnt even mention the N52
Most reliable engine BMW has since the 90s but not fun to talk about because it’s not so bad
How's the reliability been the past 3 years? I'm looking for one currently from Bulgaria same road quality 😂
I’ve been waiting for this video
I've an 08 335i. It's been a dream to mod, hella easy to tune with your phone. All for very little money. Diy community has done everything so tuns of resources to follow.
Glad i bought it
Driving a 07 E92 328i for 8 years now.
And I still love it. Its a daily drive and here in the Netherlands its just to damn expensive to own a 335i or M3 as a daily drive. Also the insurance wants your organs or something to insure you.. so yeah 😁
N54 owner
Had a salvaged title, but is my favorite car owned to this day.
Bought at 72.5k, not too many issues ;cracked rims (had M3 rims , la potholes make it fun), radiator gave out at about 78k, coolant issues, spark plugs replaced, coils replaced cuz misfire, faulty fuel injector replaced (previously replaced at 70k, suspension issues shocks and struts needed replacing)
Take care of these cars and it will take care of you
scary... i was just thinking to check out the prices on these then that notification came up
I have a 335i N54 with 6 speed manual and it is not only the nicest car I’ve ever owned but the best driving car I’ve ever been in by far.
