Wow that is so cool. It is amazing what he is getting out of that vehicle. Would be interesting to see what his MPG is verses stock. Thanks Tom this is a very interesting video. Well worth watching.
Im very interested in this too. I just bought a 2021 sport hatch. Its automatic. So I'm not sure modding it is worth anything. But also the mileage is a big factor, I love driving fast but my wallet feels it.
Thanks for making this vid, really impressed on the gains with stock boost! A custom map with those mods could hit 250 easy, in the UK our king tuner recently got 267 whp with just intake and downpipe (R99 fuel). Catless and wide MAF port for easy >270 track use. Can't belive how much potential this engine has
Here is the information you were looking for from the owner of the civic. That downpipe isn’t sold anymore. With the rpm act they did away with the catless but I now have their high-volume downpipe that gives me basically the same numbers. prlmotorsports.com
Here is the reply I received from the owner of the civic. “The lower one was on 16psi the high tune peaks at a touch over 25 for a very short time but most of the band is 23”
@@VehicleVisionary I have this same car with the 7 speed cvt and am looking to get all of this same work done. What shop here has a dyno and can work on off the shelf ktune
I have less mods and getting almost the same with off the shelf hondata tune, greddy ddr exhaust and prl short ram intake
that's exactly my plans for the civic sport hatchback i'm planning on getting soon. Do you know your numbers by chance?
Nice bro where did you get your mods and what is the total cash invest for what you did on your rig?
@@garrettbarbosa3080 Search Hondata's site for a local tuner; the flash is all you really need for the upgraded power ($300ish)

You’re welcome, Tom! And thank you for the idea for another video. I’ll have to talk to the owner about doing an mpg comparison on a stock model.

That one is my car, on interstate driving I am getting around 30mpg but in city I get around 25-26. My driving may be a factor

Curious to what psi on the ktuner was it tested at?
Here is the reply I received from the owner of the civic.

Do you know if it was 22psi
It’s a consistent 23psi with a short peak to 25psi and back to 23psi.
Are you guys based in Shreveport as well?
Yes

Dynomad is who I recommend. facebook.com/dynomadmobiletuning
Can you do this on a CVT?
Yes
Yes you can, I had a Cvt with most of those mods before the one in the video. Just make sure you get a good tuner and it’s safe.
@@FL4NKENSTEIN did you test the parts before the tuner? Noticeable difference in power? I'm not planning on doing a tuner until my warranty is up
Sweet!
