just a tip, if you want the music to sound better, up the treble a couple bars as well, normally around +4. it'll make a world of a difference
What do you mean ?
Trouble +3 mids -2 bass +2 , when i push the treble past 3 the highs get crunchy
@Duskydog419 I've almost maxed all those out to test and it's never gotten crunchy and I'm pretty sure it's a stock sound system

Only thing i didnt know about was the rear view mirror dimming im glad u showed us how it works now cause i run into so many people that get behind me with their high beams on and it drives me nuts

That's really not a new feature as all cars have it. Even my very first car (1977 Datsun 200SX) had that. It's not dimming the light per se, but changing the reflection of what you see in the mirror. You can even manually adjust the mirror to any angle and get the same effect.

Thank you! Just bought a Civic Ex 2021 - only 9000 miles, but no owner's manual. The battery-less start trick could be a life saver during the winter here in New England.
Another great feature that I learned about with my Civic is the auto high beams. It's a pain to have to activate them by pulling back and holding the high beams on for 30+ seconds, but it helps not having to switch high beams off and on whenever cars are coming at you in the oncoming lane and you don't wanna highbeam someone.
You push forward to activate them, you pull back if someone pisses you off and want to give them a lil quick high beam

Hey, im not sure if you already went over this in another video or not but if you rotate the long button (that switches your trip A and B) it will actually lower the overall brightness of the tachometer.

Wow, I had no idea about half of these features..... I have a 2020, and love it so much I decided to pay it off and buy it. I have the 2 door coupe sport without the hatch with only 4, 100 miles on it. It's like brand new in the garage ! Thank you for all the info !

Hi Chris, just bought my 2021 Civic Sport Hatch last week! enjoying it so far. Great videos! Please keep them coming. How do you enjoy the aftermarket Spoiler so far? Was thinking about getting one for mines.
Congrats on the purchase! The spoiler I put on mine slightly wobbles at around 60mph and above. But since installing, I've put almost 5k miles on the car and it's holding up pretty well.
Looks really nice on the car imo.
But honestly if you have the money, get a much higher end wing. 😀

@@dabaydestrian437 The new redesign civic is ugly imo. Just my thoughts on it tho. Somebody else opinion might be different from me. Saw a 2022 model of the Civics, just not my style. Looks kinda old school.

Hey Chris I love the sport trim with the dual center mounted exhaust I just got a civic hatchback but in the EX trim but I want that sport exhaust look do you know if that’s achievable or not because of the spare tire well. Also love this channel because it gives me so many ideas to do on my car
I have the 18” EX model as well sadly is not easy looking for a good exhaust for our model I think there’s one with the dual exhaust with the EX model but they deleted the mufflers and welded some pipes and relocated the tips to the center it wouldn’t be a good air flow but it looks way better than stock
@@luismuniz6500 yeah I seen people modify their exhaust they like go around the spare wheel weld and then the tips are in the center but not all exhaust shops can do that. I really want my EX to have that center exhaust😕

i have a '19 civic sport and there's a nice analog clock that fills the whole screen, looks way better than the one in my '21 accord. i've never seen anyone mention that feature.

Hi Chris! How do you connect your android to android auto? I have 21'civic and i use an original samsung cable to connect my phone and it disconnects a lot. It stops recognizing the cable.

How about the automatic lock when you walk away from the car? I love that feature
Can you use unleaded 87 in the sport trim? Considering buying one but never used premium gas in a car. Is it necessary? Oh an how’s the gas mileage?
87 is the minimum you could put on these cars and it should be fine. 91 is recommended if you want to get the most out of the engine.
Expect to get 26/32mpg or even higher depending on how you drive.

Do you put 91 or 93 for your gas? I’m confused on what the manual is saying but the dealership said just the 87
Personally if I'm taking a long road trip, I put 87 and have the car in eco mode.
But for most everyday driving, I use 91
Honda recommends 87 which is fine. But if you want to get the most out of the 1.5, get 91.
Im really surprised you didn't know about the rear view mirror. Just about every car has one of those standard. Even my first car which was a 1998 Accord had those. I want to upgrade to an auto dimming rear view mirror In the future. And that car also had the windows going down feature. And my current second car has the rolling down future also. It's a 2003 accord coupe. Some of this just seems weird to me that you didn't know they had this on older models but I guess It makes sense since you owned a BMW before so you had no way of knowing.

Hey man, my civic is a Sport Plus version (Europe) with the sunroof and electric side mirrors - do you think they also fold to the outside? Cheers! Nice mods ;) I think I will start customizing my red beast soon. PS. I wish my edition would have the remote start engine button!
Our mirrors don't fold unfortunately. I've seen people modify their mirrors to make them fold but it looks like a lot of work.
I also have the sport plus eu version with sunroof and electric side mirrors but from 2017. The mirrors can also fould forwards but might need more force. I only found out when driving through a carwash for the first time and forgot to fold the mirrors in. Could also push the mirror back easy and they are working just fine after that.
Sadly the remote start is only for car with automatic transmission-

It just unlocks hatch lid. Other than that. No... unfortunately.
