If you’re following the Plymouth and Dartmoor railway track from Merrivale to Princetown, a short detour to Foggintor Quarry is well worth it. Wild swimmers can walk around the left side of the quarry wall and enter the water from there. It’s deep in parts but very shallow in others, with large rocks just below the surface.
It isn’t ideal for anything too enthusiastic but it’s great for sheer atmosphere, and offers a different perspective on the imposing faces of the quarry.
Sharrah Pools
Sharrah Pool is an otherworldly spot, flanked by woodland - it looks like a place where water babies and Dartmoor pixies might congregate for a swim. You'll know you've found it when you come across a clearing in the trees and a wider, still part of the river where the water is so clear you can peer down at the bottom.

@@KevinHartVlogs I thought you wouldn't have known what Jessie did to me just over four months ago, so here it is: she's blocked me from commenting on her videos and her "very close" friend Resh (his words not mine) told me (very rudely) that she and I quote 'no longer wants to speak to me directly or communicate with me in any way' and that she wants me out of her life forever and I have been feeling very upset and depressed ever since because of how close I felt I was with her. I just hope she eventually understands how much she's hurt an autistic teen because those with autism have more powerful emotions than those who don't have autism and can be very sensitive to certain things and never recover from them because I know I won't ever recover from Jessie blocking me because she hates me and has ruined my life. I haven't visited her channel or watched any of her videos ever since just like how she hasn't watched any of my videos since which doesn't surprise me but I hate that the last comment she ever left on any of my videos was my Pentatonix - The Sound of Silence lyrics video. And I hate that she also comments on RSAF's videos because it makes me feel very sad that she supports them but hates me. btw, you have a lot of catching up to do with my videos and I just made it to 4k subs so how lucky am I?! Just please don't comment on any of the reaction videos I did to Jessie's content...

Hey Kev! This was an absolute fantastic vlog. I watched it the day it came out, but couldn't comment for a few reasons. Daisy is becoming a young lady! I loved the part with the horse, and some of those streams and swimming areas looked like areas around here. Very refreshing!
