He's is the greatest player of my life time he changed the game. In South Africa we respect the ABs and we ❤Jonah. He was the most special player our game had ever seen.
Because of tall poppy syndrome it took me years..I saw him twice in flesh..once a try at Eden Park for Blues in 96, ran thru 7 or 8 SA tackles score under post with 3 guys hanging on..best solo try I ever saw..just couldnt believe what I saw, was very close to it
The only rugby player ever to be given a contact by NFL without even having a practise...Dallas did that but he chose the AB's..I am convinced he would have been a star running back or wide receiver...NOBODY else could do that..nobody , he was an absolute diamond
@@merlin5420 I vaguely remember Botha maybe...but that was only for a kicker which is not even a player....Hastings i cannot imagine that at all, or the position he would play...point is Lomu would have been a star from day 1...TE WR or RB thats why they gave him a contract without even a practise!!!..he choose All Blacks
The good ones always go too soon. What an absolutely beautiful soul. Rugby is blessed because of his presence. And we loved every minute of it. RIP legend
"Life was the winner".....what an amazing way to look at your world that way.....Jonah knew he probably wouldn't live to see old bones.....but no-one will forget him!
First-world Rugby superstar - I felt NZRU did a disservice to Lomu. Knowing he was playing with a life-threatening illness. Jonah was never 100% throughout his rugby career. (Using the poly boys to their advantage...)

I think Naas Botha and Gavin Hastings were offered contracts in the 80s

@@brentinnes5151 Jonah would’ve been awesome! I think Hastings only dabbled in a European gridiron league
@brentinnes5151 Jonah or TE or WR1. He would of destroyed everyone just running go routes.
@@Ashton_Pillay just looking at him would destroy them
Even our Springbok fans loved Jono! We will miss him!! 😢
My heart aces and my yes fill with tears when i watch these clips of Jonah besides Colby the best rugby power ever.....!🖤
