As of recent, they had to cut about a third of their workforce, company value dropped. Generally though, not the worst for price or quality. Just depends on what you were looking for from your solar

What about a solar provider that stops selling and servicing a product you purchased from them? About 5 years after purchasing a SolarEdge solution, my inverter failed. I reached out to my installer only to find that they no longer support SolarEdge. It was a frustrating journey to find another company to pick up my account. Do the solar vendors have any support for customers in my situation? How can prospective customers find out which vendors back their customers?

I wouldn't have taken NO for an answer, you both agreed to the warranty on the installation contract and so while they can choose to (discontinue) installing Solaredge on new solar installations I don't believe they can just flatly refuse to support a warranty claim on a system they installed and that you paid for in good faith if it is still in the warranty years stated in the contract. I believe their only legal recourse was to either buy a Solaredge inverter of similar capabilities and do the warranty repair for you or perhaps it might be in your contract that they can choose to offer to install another brand inverter system of similar capabilities at no cost to you. (a suitable substitute). --------- Having said the above there are 3rd party solar insurance companies, I believe Joe has promoted "SolarInsure" company in the past as being reasonably priced solar insurance.

In many states, a contractor has a bid limit on the license. The higher the bid limit, the more financial stability the company has. In my state. The Contractors Board audits the company’s financials each time the license is renewed to determine the bid limit. It can be an indicator of overall financial health.
