Hello there ladies, my dad who was a wonderful cabinet maker. He made my sister a replica of Tara from Gone With the Wind, it had a lovely fireplace that he put scrunched up red cellophane with a small torch bulb it looked like a real fire. My grandchildren now have it. My eldest daughter when in her 50's did it up and found some wonderful furniture, the children now playing with it are my youngest daughter's children.
I love your films, Fleur and Kate. I have made things all my life (66 yrs) but never had the pleasure of Mum or daughter bonding. My mum died when I was 10, and I never had a daughter to share the simple shared pleasures that your relationship brings you. I love to see it, genuinely it makes me happy. Joyful, even.
I spied Wonky Bear in the cradle, whilst the spring cleaning was going on. Wonderful visiting the new dump--appears to have possibilities. The whistle find was a blast. 100 years since anyone blew it. Amazing treasure! Loved visiting Bitsy's house again, and seeing the new additions as they were added. Your videos, for me, are like the Secret Garden. I don't look for magic, but never fails. Stay safe and for goodness sakes, Kate when you swung under the tree limb, I was afraid you would fall into a leaf covered bottle digger hole. xx
I love the little doll in the tub. Wonderful crafting workbench. Beautiful gifts from your viewers. What a lovely world you live in. There is so much wonder in nature and it's nice to see folage starting to bloom. Cupie dolls are so endearing. Goodnight 😴💤💤
Such a lovely walk through the woods! Your finds were great, but it was the walk you took together that made the video for me. I used to take walks with my daughters ( who are now grown and mothers themselves) in a very wonderful park just down the street from our apartment. We always took note of the native plants and wildflowers, learning their Latin names and even harvesting wild onions and tubers from Spring Beauties to eat! We were very excited to spot black capped chickadees, opossums and even a fox once! That time spent together was very special. So glad you have the opportunity to do the same! By the way, that whistle was an exceptional find!
What an amazing video, I remember picking Violets and primroses in the hedgerows and taking them proudly back for my mum. The finds you found are beautiful LOVE the whistle and hearing it’s sound from 100 years ago and the bottles are stunning as well as the toys and crafting. God bless and stay safe and well and have a great but careful return to normal life and being able to finally get out of the house 🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🌻🌻🌻🌻

Thank you for putting the sharp ends of bottles etc into the soil. The other day I was cringing when watching another mudlarker’s video, as they left several broken bottles sticking up out of the mud in a river. I could just imagine someone or some creature standing on them! Several years ago I found a sharp knife poking blade up in the shallows of a local beach, probably dropped by a fisherman, and gave it to the nearby cafe to dispose of. Back in the shallows and only a little further along I found 3 pound notes - a reward from Neptune perhaps?!

Loved the video. The little sheer top bottle would look good with a Victorian cut out of flowers in the indented rectangle (For Fleur). I enjoyed looking at the stuff in the dollhouse and even on the work station. Right now most of my dolls are in boxes or drawers, since I have quite a few to fix. The worst part is when I get them fixed I want to keep them instead of selling them. I have been building up some broken doll parts, arms & legs & necks with Milliput to make my own "Dump Dolls", even though they didn't come from a dump, but an auction.

Hi lovely ladies😀 you found some cute finds today. I don’t think I have ever seen an HP bottle that small. I love HP sauce, I put it on everything, so my husband tells me!😂😂 I loved that black marble. I used to find those opalescent ones in all colours in our garden when I was a kid growing up on the Isle of Wight. They would emerge from amongst the brambles when my Dad was digging. My friends used to try and swap them for regular cats eye ones. But to me they were more common than mine! That was in the sixties. Thank you for another great video😂😂😂

What an idyllic new location on your doorstep and some truly luscious finds - love that gorgeous wee bottle, fit for a fairy fair. How utterly amazing to discover the pair of legs was actually a whistle - toot, toot. Such gorgeous and thoughtful gifts from friends far and wide. Such a heart warming and lifting ray of light to charm a delightful chuckle of glee. XxX
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers ahh good point and I totally understand . Quite dangerous too with all the glass . We have had to do a hospital run recently due to friend kneeling down on a piece of glass
Thanking for dumping out that button jar for your mini craft-great to see and hear the sounds of sorting through buttons, finding just the right one, and then putting them all back in the jar. A lovely video, all the way to the end.
Fleur and Kate, I love your films. I just wanted to bring to your attention, if you're excited about the whistle you found then take another look at an older film of yours, "Bottle Dump Searching A Mudlarking Bottle Bonanza!" Check at the 25 minute mark, the little kneeling girl might also be a Whistle. Please take another look 🙂
Fleur, I can relate to lockdown taking a toll on one's fitness! When we finally get back to having class visits, which start with a one hour walking tour outside, I am going to feel it! Our spring is a bit behind yours so I enjoyed the preview, good as medicine for the winter weary!
Fleur... "I'm not really made for this when blocked by a tree." Enter Kate.... Loved it as always, interesting site, perhaps a bit of digging and scraping called for. Think there may be some exciting things buried there. Nice one ladies.
At our local Flea market, I found several boxes of baby doll heads, arms, legs, bodies! They are bisque fired. I got a 7 1/2 inch head with painted eyes and teeth. Then found a baggie with a disjointed baby. All that was needed was it to be strung. The lady that made them died right after her husband. They were making replica porcelain dolls. I thought of you and bought the baby and one socket head. I will craft a soft body for the 7 1/2 inch head and make a diaper for the crying faced baby. Oh, the baby is only 3 inches long!
just love your videos and love the mother and daughter relationship. you had some lovely gifts but i especially liked the bird made from vintage ties....if Jodie would make a video of how she made it ....or sold the pattern I would love to try and make it
My dogs were quite interested in that sound from the past. How exciting! So happy that after losing your favorite dump, that you were able to find interesting finds at a different place. It almost seems this dump was trying to impress you to keep coming back. Thank you for taking us along. I wish my house was furnished as beautifully as Norma's!
I'm surprised of how much further spring is ahead in the UK than over here in Germany. I love the violets at the beginning of the video.and a flower we call "Buschwindröschen" at 11.10 minutes. The doll house is coming along and it looks very lovely. Talking about Spring cleaning...reminds me to clean my windows soon.

When you mentioned turning glass upside down so nothing stepped on it; I thought wow, I'm not the only one to do that; That's awesome 👍☺ thank you for sharing, loved everything ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Can you do a tour of your dollhouse with all your finds? It looks great!
We are hopefully doing the top room soon so we shall show a tour then :)
XxX
We were very excited about the whistle and the tiny bottles :)
You guys should get the shovels and have a dig. Will be so much at these locations if there are those good finds on the surface
We are not diggers, for one I am not fit enough and two I have not got the patience haha. I like the things on the surface :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers ahh good point and I totally understand . Quite dangerous too with all the glass . We have had to do a hospital run recently due to friend kneeling down on a piece of glass
Very relaxing thank you
Great thinking Kate putting broken pieces upside down super
Thoughtful 😻😻👍🌷
Thanking for dumping out that button jar for your mini craft-great to see and hear the sounds of sorting through buttons, finding just the right one, and then putting them all back in the jar. A lovely video, all the way to the end.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
So enjoyable! Your crafting space looks very inspiring. Thank you so much for the lovely mention :) x
You are more than welcome your work is beautiful :) x
Fleur and Kate,
I love your films. I just wanted to bring to your attention, if you're excited about the whistle you found then take another look at an older film of yours, "Bottle Dump Searching A Mudlarking Bottle Bonanza!"
Check at the 25 minute mark, the little kneeling girl might also be a Whistle.
Please take another look 🙂
Another viewer had brought that to our attention too haha. You are indeed right it is another whistle :)
I could hear the lovely birds singing you find loads of things thanks for another great video
Fabulous film, thank you. You should send those paste pots to the Mudpies. I hear they love them!
I`m not sure they do haha! :)
I love to watch you crafting so inspiring and yet relaxing at the same time xx
great whistle find on a dump just keep people away from your pitch! lovely.
Thank you a whistle was a very unexpected find and to hear it work was amazing!
How amazing that the whistle still works!
Fleur, I can relate to lockdown taking a toll on one's fitness! When we finally get back to having class visits, which start with a one hour walking tour outside, I am going to feel it! Our spring is a bit behind yours so I enjoyed the preview, good as medicine for the winter weary!
I am so unfit it is quite scary! Luckily Kate is young and can spring about going places I can`t haha :)
Fleur... "I'm not really made for this when blocked by a tree." Enter Kate.... Loved it as always, interesting site, perhaps a bit of digging and scraping called for. Think there may be some exciting things buried there. Nice one ladies.
Luckily Kate is a lot more fit than I am haha :)
Your videos make me feel like I’m there with you, I sure would like that!
It makes us happy that you feel like you are with us! It makes it worthwhile :) x
That tiny bottle is amazing! I love little bottles.
I will look in my marble book, see if can get any info on it. Great video.
Thank you :)
Yay new dolls from old, our favourites. We would love to see them complete :)
Delightfully magically wonderful once again thank you both for everything you do.
just love your videos and love the mother and daughter relationship. you had some lovely gifts but i especially liked the bird made from vintage ties....if Jodie would make a video of how she made it ....or sold the pattern I would love to try and make it
We will have to ask her :)
The marble would be cute in your doll house garden on top of a small round piece of metal as a gazing ball.
Yes it seems lots of dogs were quite interested in the whistle haha :)
You need hiking boots. In the woods.
Yes wellies are not quite right haha :)
Ha yes same here. Although I hate cleaning windows :)
