    👍 DO'S 👍
➡️ Wash your FR Garments together and leave out your personal clothes.
➡️ Soak tough stains with liquid detergent or stain remover before washing.
➡️ Turn the garments inside out to make the color last longer
➡️ Water temp depend on the garment. Most Cotton FR Garments can be washed in both hot and cold water. But remember the cotton blends will shrink just like non fr cotton blends. So hot water and long drying cycles will shrink your clothes. Sometimes up to 5%!
➡️ Use any typical home liquid detergent for best results when washing your garments at home.
    👎 DON'TS 👎
❌ Don't use laundry aids like fabric softer, starch or dryer sheets. These additives can coat the fiber and mask the flame resistant performance. They could also serve as fuel in a flash fire. That also includes bug spray and cologne or perfume. These are combustible as well. Make sure and put those items directly on your skin and not on the garment.
❌ Don't use Chlorine Bleach. Bleach destroys the FR polymer which reduces the flame resistance of the garment. Bleach will also accelerates color loss in the FR garment. So stay away from the stuff!
❌ Don't over dry in the dryer. It can cause excessive shrinkage and nobody likes that. If you can hang dry the garments hang dry them!

NEVER wash any fire resistant clothes with fabric softener....its literally flamable , super hard to get rid of - u need to soak it in vinegar etc + wash in firefighter clothes washing detergent and even then there is a chance it will still be there

Add borax to your laundry. The boric acid that remains in the fabric adds fire resistance.

Carhartt is the best bet for finding the most options available for cargo pants. They have products with different types of pockets and offer a variety of colors for the pants as well. Let us know if you have any additional questions!

Just bought some FR jeans and shirts, they used heavy starch at the dry cleaners. Did I ruin them? It will be the last time I will starch them.

Not a do 🙅‍♀️ DON'T use stain removers like Oxiclean. The garments care tag says "No products containing Hydrogen Peroxide". Oxiclean and most stain removers are Hydrogen Peroxide based. That is why I am watching this video. To try and find an alternative stain remover.
