@@JTechWP I don't care anymore. If product is not fully self contain, then I lose interest. Seriously why would I buy an iPad just to use a teleprompter? Cheaper to print on paper and tape to camera.
@@JTechWP Thank you for the advice. I have found some ball head and Ulanzi quick release set in my trash box and it has increased the hight now. Thank you.
I copy and paste between Apple devices as its seamless. Haven't used the cloud features sorry. Press the Plus symbol, then the download icon, sign into dropbox, google drive, if it asks for permission, accept, you should then be able to access files in the cloud.
I like most things about it but the hood looks fiddly. Don't like the app as most speakers like to read ahead and this does not anticipate. Plus it doesn't scroll it just jumps?
The latest version of the teleprompter app has big improvements and scrolls more accurately. The hood is super easy to use, i leave mine setup all the time, screw in the camera to the base, slide in the ipad and its good to go
@@JTechWP But that’s the thing - you can’t leave it set up if you’re going to be on location and you have a ton of other gear. It has to pack away small and be quick to set up. You’ve just said you leave yours setup all the time - I’m guessing that’s because it’s a hassle to take it all apart and put it back together.
@@mondotv4216 takes about 3 minutes to setup when ive taken it on client shoots. I leave it setup for my youtube channel as thats where i do most of the filming.
You mentioned that this won't work with a wide angle (faster/ lower than 28mm). Can you explain why this is? I like using my 15-30mm Tamron f/2.8 -- but it is a wide angle with a partial fisheye. Great for close up vid production.
You should be able to use the webcam, might need to put it close to one way mirror. Check to see what Len’s it uses, I think 28mm is the smallest recommended
Can sigma 16mm for apsc (approx 24mm fullframe) using this teleprompter?
24mm should be fine, you could always move the prompter back a few cm and crop the image in the edit worst case scenario
What is projecting the words on to the glass?
2:17 are you saying this device does not come complete and that I need to purchase an iPad to use this?
Ipad is required, the ipad screen reflects off the telepromper, the app has had some big new updates since this video, improved alot

Spot on! Thanks for the tips!
My pleasure!
Hi.. the iPad gets in the way.. with Sony zve10. How can I adjust the height. The end of the iPad is clearly on the view. Thank u
on the lens zoom in a bit more, if that doesnt work see if theres a crop option in the menu settings on the camera

I'm getting that lav mic for sure, but my Ipad has a USB C connector, is there any specific adaptor you recommend for this, r a diferent mic?
Rode are excellent amzn.to/3PYvbZZ, or a usb c lav mic amzn.to/3vmh0pT
How do I access cloud services? Been looking for a way

With a 15mm Len’s the black sides of the teleprompter would be in the shot, you might not see the sides on 30mm
Amazing video brother, super handy!
Glad you think so!
Are there any issues with iPad brightness bleeding into the camera? I heard that's an issue with some teleprompters especially lower-end ones.
Filmed in a bright room, had the ipad brightness cranked up, no bleed at all, the glass is good on this prompter
Very useful. Thanks! Can I use a webcam with that teleprompter? Just subscribed. Thanks!

"Hit the dislike twice" LOL classic! Starting to set my teleprompter up. Thanks for sharing.
They are great teleprompters and the app is still my favourite
@@JTechWP hey while recording with iphone I read the flaps get in the shot I need best teleprompter for iphone
It's pretty easy to tell that you are reading from a Teleprompter
Ive got better with more practice :) literally had it that day and made the video. Great bit of kit
Lol this guy is slick… “If you don’t like the video hit the dislike button twice”. Doing that reverses the initial dislike
😎
Good video, but you can tell you're reading the teleprompter.
Got better with more practice, helps speed up video production
The app is crap! It's got bugs... won't let you go back and edit docs... they go blank. Don't waste your time and money.
I’ve used it for around 20 videos so far, client work too, it’s good on IOS . What device are you using ?
