I'm interested in getting this. But would love to have seen the scroll action on the text more as the part you showed had it looking very jerky and I can imagine getting disoriented and losing your place with hat kind of action.
Though I guess the remote will work with any TP scrict software.
It was the opposite, tbh mate very silky and lots of different speeds to operate also.
If your tablet brightness is at 100% does the text get captured by your camera? I've heard that's an issue with cheaper teleprompters.

Hi Mate i haven't tried it but i used my 16-28mm g-master and worked perfect from 18mm
thanks ever so much for the fantastic video. I actually own one of the x12 teleprompters. I would like to use it with a mobile phone. I’ve been in touch with the manufacturer and to be quite honest there doesn’t seem to be much information about what attachment I would need to use this with an iPhone Could you please let me know what bracket would make this functionality possible? I really appreciate some help. Thank you
Hi mate the existing bracket should.be fine as.it moves and can be tightened holding it in place. Not sure.on other brackets mate tbh sorry. I did test it with my phone and it worked.

I got the X 17 today and im stressed about opening the box.. it arrived in this huge heavy Amazon box 📦 😅

I just got the teleprompter. All is good so far, but I have an issue with my tablet. It is a 12.9-inch tablet, and my lens is 16mm, so I see half of the tablet through the viewfinder. What tablet you use. I see it is more narrow than the 12.9 inch. A 35mm will solve the issue, but I want to use my 16mm.
I was using a Samsung galaxy TAB A but alter the angle of the glass and also place camera closer too its just getting use to it 👍

@JSOS I feel ya on that one mate - I'm a one man band here and trying to remember everything as well as record and sound and showcase its hardwork much easier with a prompt
Hey did that end up working for you? I have a 17mm lens and looking the get a teleprompter.
@@moshegitt5505 yes, I did push the lens next to the glass and lift up my camera with extra quick release plate. Mine is 16mm so with 17mm should be fine.
I do videos where I'm moving around. What type of lav mic do you recommend?
I use rode wireless filmmaker but the wireless go are very good too

same question haha. If I can't use my phone what's a good budget option to get off Amazon. I'm only doing this as a hobby so low quality is ok.
Honest truth is I never tried using my phone as the camera but it does have a 1/4 thread and a phone holder so you should be able to connect phone to the phone holder and then connect that to the 1/4 thread- dependent on phone connect that via USB c to laptop or PC
Personally I would go with 2 budget options either cannon m50 or any sony a6000 series but these are great options 👍
Does it work it well with smartphone ? E.g 15 pro max
It worked perfectly fine with my s23 mate buy o don't have iPhone so can't gaurentee

Will it work with a 13mm wide angle lens?
I was using a 16-35 GMaster which is a pretty big lens so I don't believe you would have any issues mate 😉 👍
