I missed your live as I was at a new specialist who was horrible. Your videos are soo calming, I want to make some scrappy journals and have all the materials but just can’t seem to start, mostly due to pain, so I love watching your process.

Well, this is my first process video in a long time. And what a fun, scrappy project for me to try!! Oh My those biscuits sound so delicious 😊😊 i had company visiting from Texas last week and i made strawberry lemon scones for them. They were such a treat. Now its time to get my fabric scraps out and stitch them together for a journal cover...great idea! Waving from Arizona❤

I would help you reupholster your chair if I could. I’ve done a chair and a camel back sofa. That sofa back was the trickiest bit of all, but it turned out great. Gave it away when we bought a new, more comfortable sofa. Loved your cover ideas, and the biscuits project sounds fun. What fat tadpoles! Lovely that there are so many. TFS!
Oh a sofa wow, with the long curved needles ? that is tough on the hands. Oh I know you would, thank you, I’ll get there ! Went to check if the tadpoles had legs today, maybe they will next week.
@@janetnash yes, with the long curved needles and a staple gun, and sometimes tack hammer and tacks. just depended on which part. A staple gun though ! It’s a girl’s best friend! LoL. I hope the tadpoles get to grow up to full size 🐸.

Janet what an amazing idea for fabric I’ve seen you use it before but not really questioned what it is. Here at fairy central we have lots of fabric for the fairies to choose their outfit etc so I think this will actually be a project to put on the front burner ( my notebook ) The button clusters are awesome I definitely recognise one 😊😊 it’s so great to see Freddie. I have a feeling it was probably me at Bens door not the Amazon man 😂😂. Loving the biscuits I know you can make cardboard cake tiers so maybe a plan. Janet I adore your old mechanical sewing machine. I often wish I had kept my mom’s but at the time I had a fancy schmancy digital wizardry kind of sewing machine and thought it was far superior. But there’s something about the sound of a mechanical machine isn’t there. And there is the added benefit of being able to work on it and adjust it yourself. If Mr Fancypants machine gets finicky I have to send him in to the shop. How short sighted of me.,

I sometimes get a little overwhelmed with my fabric, this would be a great way to have manageable snippets of bigger pieces, as a record of what I have, a bit like those fabric samples you get in furniture shops I guess. Such a great idea. I am assuming that this is a way to take Fabrics with you along with some thread and scissors and needles and buttons and whatever you might need another little pouch. I do think I need to make a fabric holder for my little slow stitching scissors. Right now I'm working on lace and fabric Ruffles for some of my pages in the journal I'm working on right now which is my bunny and lamb junk Journal
Judie thank you so much. Yes it is so handy to keep the fabrics together, even for working at the desk, but so handy for travel. I love the fabric patchwork cover, I haven't got a sewing machine, yet, on my wishlist. The slow stitching version looks doable for me. I love ox eye daisies, my fave flower. Are those growing in your garden? They're beautiful.
