Howdy, Janet! Thanks for taking us along with you on this relaxing sewing journey! And to the plant store... chuckle. Love the vintage Singer! It makes the most wondrous sound. Yeppers... love to watch Lizzi Brewer at play. I think I remember her making something like this... but, as always, you put your own style on what others have done. What an awesome idea for a journal cover! Stay Groovy! Blessings & Bubbles of L🩷ve...ooo🫧🫧🫧

Your sewing machine looks like a Maria to me - because of the Sound of Music (Maria) and the opera singer Maria Callas - and your machine is a "Singer" afterall. 🤣Super cool hearts! That scrappy piece with wavy sewing in the back looks like an enchanted wonderland map. Love it! Tfs. 😊

I watched this yesterday Janet, and this is genius. It’s interesting to do a journal cover with this technique. Or patches on jeans or jackets.
I am searching for scraps and it just isn’t easy anymore. The thrift shop clothes are expensive to buy and rip up. Everything has exploded in pricing. Imagine the thrift store becoming unaffordable?! The days of $0.50-$2 are over. The bits I have I am holding on to.
    That green heart is beautiful💚💚💚
