I love making the scrappy fabric, I have decided I am using mine on my quilt as you go quilt. A place mat is a great idea do you think the netting would stand up to the heat, maybe no netting and loads more rows of stitching 🧵 have fun in whatever way you choose to create this week. 🩵

I watched this yesterday Janet, and this is genius. It’s interesting to do a journal cover with this technique. Or patches on jeans or jackets. I am searching for scraps and it just isn’t easy anymore. The thrift shop clothes are expensive to buy and rip up. Everything has exploded in pricing. Imagine the thrift store becoming unaffordable?! The days of $0.50-$2 are over. The bits I have I am holding on to. That green heart is beautiful💚💚💚 I love we have the same sewing machine across the world. It sounds exactly like mine :) It’s a little weak but it works great.

Beautiful ❤ I saw a video recently of chenilling paper, it turned out cool also but looked quite difficult to get through the layers. Using small pieces is a brilliant idea.

Oooh what fun I’ve seen this once before on a hot water bottle cover. I think I have the page in my might do some day folder. The end result is amazing it’s hard to know what to expect. Definitely a good idea to make colour themes but random is great too. I e been keeping fairy scraps lately the slightly smaller bits not the tiny and this would be super fun. Oooh I could make a fox shaped one. Planning started but off to fairy central first. Thank you for a fab Tuesday treat 🧚♂️❤️🦄

I have made flowers and hearts in the past, it also looks nice in a bunting, perhaps some splashes of gold would look nice🤔✨ . I thought a possible name for your beautiful machine could be ''Vinnie''...the vintage machine...so many lovely names chosen by the community so far.💖🧵🧵 P.s. Just an aside...I looked up the name ''Vinnie'' , apparently it was often used as an endearing nickname for someone called ''Alvina'' which translates as "Elf" or "magical friend"...isn't that lovely...I think our sewing machines are magical, always helping us to create magical things...🪡✨🧵

P.s. Just an aside...I looked up the name ''Vinnie'' , apparently it was often used as an endearing nickname for someone called ''Alvina'' which translates as "Elf" or "magical friend"...isn't that lovely...I think our sewing machines are magical, always helping us to create magical things...🪡✨🧵
