Since the 1.5kw spindle is the one you're selling I think it would make more sense to show off what that can do rather than more powerful spindles.

I imagine this is still to come, especially from other creators. However I can also see the value in knowing what the machine’s actual limits are since the spindle is the first bottleneck for overall performance capabilities. Especially since you can always buy the machine without the 1.5Kw spindle and put whatever you want there instead depending on each persons needs.

@@kenbouchard834 I can only afford the 1.5kw and barely at that. I can imagine that crazy big spindle is probably 2 to 3 grand so possibly more than the machine itself. So I just feel like they should focus on what the machine can do in the form it's probably going to be used in the most. But I understand your point as well.

During the interview it's a different spindle - likely a 5.5kw. For the cutting they are using a 2.2kw spindle but still pretty comparable to the 1.5kw spindle I'd say.

Please have Mike do more awesome projects like that. This was cool to watch; very informative. I would love to try this guitar. I wonder how much it would sell for and how much it cost to make? It would look fantastic on stage! Bravo!

I need that 3.5kW spindle. Future kit for the altmill?

Is this all with "off the shelf" nema 23 closed loop steppers?
