Do you have a facial peel incorporated into your skin care routine? If so, let me know your favorite!
Your skin looks amazing! This sounds like something I need to try. I love a good facial peel. I'm currently into the Pixi Glow Tonic.
I’ve heard great things about pixi glow! Still haven’t tried it yet though.
Your skin looks great! And yes it is important to wear sunscreen even in the fall and winter.
Thanks so much, Waldia !
Yes... my melanin babes, we need to protect our skin from the sun too! It took me a while before I was willing to accept it, but yes. Especially when doing any type of peel. I like the Mario Badescu Glycolic acid cleanser for at-home.
Yes! More of us need to slap on some sun screen so we can keep this melanin poppin
This is very informative. I’ll be more into skincare this year so I’m happy to see something different. Thank you for sharing.
No problem girl !
I have never tried a facial peel. I would love to try one. Thanks for sharing
This one is so simple to use. You should definitely look into one!
How often can I use it ?
Once every other week if you're new to it
This is an interesting video i have never seen/heard of this before your skin does look clear and smooth !
Thanks so much, Amber !
Since I been looking to buy the peel every review I’ve seen had said the peel stings or it burns. I just did mine and I thought maybe something was wrong with me or I did it wrong cos i didn’t feel any different so I’m glad you said you didn’t get nor burn or stinging.
Nope! Mine didn’t burn at all. I was concerned from previous reviews too but it was all perfectly fine.
I have a trial size version of the SuperGoop sunscreen and I love it!
Does it leave a greasy feeling?
I never did a chemical peel, but I do use the bentonite clay mask and that works for me
I use bentonite clay as well ! That one helps me with shirking my pores.
You are right clay masks are good old skincare products. Clays are made of tiny particles organized in layers that trapped the impurities. They do wonders to even the skin tone. I advise incorporating an acid in your routine as they also help to boost the cell renewal and the synthesis of collagen. If you are interested watch my video on exfoliation and acids.
I dont use peels often. I may try this one!
You definitely should !
I've never tried a peel. Might give this a try.
Me either before I tried this one. I don't think I could go without it anymore.
I have the Mario Badescu Glycolic peel, I only used it once because I think it broke me out. I may give it another go.
Oh wow. Maybe try another brand next time?
If you are acne prone and you don't use regularly peeling it is normal that peeling broke you out. Use azelaic acid and salicylic acid. This duo targets acne issues. I talk about it in my acid video.
I’ve always been scared to try a peel. I want to now. Gotta keep my skin looking young and fresh. Thanks for the demo 😁😁
This one is so simple to use. Don't be scared girl
Don't be scared a well-formulated peel tailored to your skin type will do wonders on a short term and most importantly in the long term. I explain it in two of my videos.
I just bought this on amazon 🤣 perfect timing
I have never used anything like that before. I probably could use some exfoliating cream.
Exfoliating is life! It's the best way to get glowing skin.
I’ve never tried a facial peel before. I always used a mask that yo could peel off. But most of the time I’ve used a charcoal face mask and I had to peel that off if that counts.
I've tried peel off, but those only help with the gunk stuck in your pores. if you're looking for exfoliated and polished skin then this peeling solution is for you!
This was a good review...I don’t mind it looking like blood.
Thanks so much ! I love this new little gem.
I never heard of this , thanks for sharing
No problem, I hope you'll give it a try :)
I live by sunscreen but I’d be lying if I didn’t say the ordinary products scare me
Don't be scared girl! What kind of sunscreen do you use?
Hello, this peel a strong one. I would not recommend it to use it on a weekly basis. The Ordinary has other option much gentler ... If you are interested watch my scientific video...
looks like blood right out from an horror movie great review
LOL, good thing it's just a serum. Thanks for watching !
I tried the Orogold peel and I didn't know that after a week my face would ACTUALLY be peeling! I was so embarrassed to go outside 😂
😂 Oh snap! This one doesn’t make your skin peel. But you can legit FEEL the difference as soon as you rinse it off.
Does this peel help with ice pick scars?
I've never experience that so i'm not certain. I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist for that.
The answer is yes and no. Yes because by exfoliating your skin (once or twice a week) with a peeling combined with a moisturizing routine you will have smoother and plumper skin so the scar will be less visible but still there. Also, in the long term 5 to 10 years they will fade more. Unfortunately, to get rid of them you need to see a good dermatologist... If you want to incorporate an acid in your routine I have two videos on the subject and more to come.
Looks like blood, thank you for the sunscreen tip
Thanks for watching
I’m scared to try anything on my face. I have eczema so I’m so scared lol. Interesting product.
Oh wow, do you use anything to exfoliate or does that cause flare ups?
Hi, if you have eczema this peel is for sure not for you. Likely, mandelic acid or azelaic could help you. I talk about in my recent video.
