Thank you for taking the time to make some videos! I purchased a 50C in last fall and I have the leaking injection pump so I appreciate the information. I thought I would need to remove the injection pump and have it rebuilt but you might have saved me some time and money. My biggest pain so far was the front end. All worn out and the steering cylinders were shot and expensive. I had a shop try to rebuild mine and I am not sure the rebuild is going to hold. I have the same transmission and so far so good, brakes are good but oddly enough someone also butchered the cab. That little Perkins starts instantly! Nice little tractors. Thanks for all the info! Jason
I’m just glad they help someone. If the chrome shafts on the steering cylinders were good, they should last. I’ve never had to re-seal them, but if I do, that will be another video!
Hey could you please post the part numbers for the sealing rings and basket o rings and any other parts needed for this job thank you so much for all your help.
The gasket kit from Sparex provides new internal seals for the clutch basket, oil pump seal, pan gasket, oil pump gaskets, o-rings for the pick-up tube as well as various other copper seal washers and o-rings. The Sparex kit was just easier to get. The part number is S.42839. The steel sealing rings (if you happen to need them) on the shaft are: 1754395M1 1754402M1 If your steel seals are still good, you should be okay, as long as they’re not broken or damaged. You’ll need a new transmission filter as well. I can’t recall the part numbers for it at the moment but it shouldn’t be too hard to source that.

I have photos of the numbers. I just have to look for them. Won’t be long…

I forgot to mention that the clutch disc part numbers are in one of the videos (it says part numbers in the title).
If took some pictures of the clutch discs that I could send you
Sure! ricklongtin@bell.net is my email. The friction discs should be around .065” thick when new if my memory’s any good.
