Another huge selling point about Rising will be the Free Edition! Me personally i haven't played the og so i'll wait until the new one comes out and try out the Free Edition to see if i wanna buy it. Really cool that you'll be able to play ranked for free and feel the game out before committing.
Definitely! I think the free edition (including ranked) and crossplay and rollback all show that they are trying everything they can to avoid the online problems of the first game. It’s cool to see a dev willing to take risks like this
Yes! This game is very beginner friendly. I'll be honest, I don't find any character particularly interesting in terms of their style but the game play and ease of creating combos really had me hooked. I also love the graphics. I'll probably be purchasing Rising on its release.
I actually played a little bit a while ago and didn’t get into it, but I’m really glad I gave it another chance! I have high hopes for Rising now, hope the devs can deliver on its potential!
Another great video my guy, I really enjoyed Gran Blue. My main is probably Gran, I never got around to finishing the main campaign mode for some reason. I’m excited for Rise too, I hope they fix the issues you mentioned so it will reach its full potential 👍🏽

This mainly re-inforces my desire to never touch this game. Not even mentioning the toxicity, I have no time to dedicate to learning all of that complexity just to be decent at something. The toxicity makes it worse.
Yeah I’m excited for Rising. I hope the fall guys bit still lets you practise the moves for different characters - that could be a really cool and unique way to play a different game but still be practising granblue (at least, for people who are new and still getting to grips with what inputs do what).
@@frumiousgaming I think its literally just fall guys, but we'll see. Tbh from the 1st beta i don't quite agree with the direction they were taking some characters and some mechanics but im holding out hope for the full release
@@garethcf1016 😬 seems quite risky and unnecessary to build straight up fall guys into a mostly unrelated fighting game… we’ll have to wait and see I guess

I played this game at a local within the last month, and I had a lot of fun with it. Waiting to pick up the re-release in November (i think?).

I got it for £1.69 a few months ago in a steam sale
It’s also currently on sale for $3 and full dlc version for $10.
